    I like this chapter, also, wow, if Sirocco and Rattlesnake where in Jade mountain then things are vastly different and now very unexpected. Ah, so that is how the fake relationship started, it is a clever way to do it.

    About the length, to be honest I prefer longer chapters in stories, it lets more things be in each chapter. So I would honestly be happy with 3k word chapters, well 4k word ones are good, but are too long for some stories sometimes.

      My usual chapters are around 2 k words, but for this chapter and the last one I wasn't sure where to split it. Originally the dream and Rattlesnake and Sirocco's arrival was going to be in the last chapter, ending in the "he's my boyfriend" statement. Plus parts from the next chapter would be in this one. Next chapter I should be able to write them to be longer, tho it might take a bit longer to update lol. Thanks for reading!
