I saw you leaving thoughtful comments in the review exchange on reddit and thought 'this author needs more recognition'. That is indeed the case - this fic is well-written, with a keen understanding of shame, love, longing and the sad conflict that this woman faces. I am absolutely fandom-blind here and have to take your word about the impossible nature of the dilemma, but I do notice that Riza's friends tell her exactly the kind of words I would tell my friends. The dialogue is smooth, the anguish is palpable. Everything is in place for the emotional fallout masterfully woven.
You chose a heavy topic, and you make it beautifully tragic and hauntingly realistic to read.
Oh man, I am incredibly thankful for you taking the time to read and drop me a really thoughtful review!
Her interaction with her friend was by far my favorite part to write. I really thought about what I would do if I had a friend in that situation, and the drama and sadness just flowed! I’m very happy the emotions and the anguish read trough, even fandom blind!
