    Was starting to feel a little like Tom Hanks over here. I was 24 hours away from putting a dried grass wig on a volleyball and calling it Grace 😳.

    (Srsly tho. Yeah, I'm sad the tag is on life support at this point, but the simple fact of the matter is nobody owes anybody free content and I readily acknowledge that. I've even dusted off my writer's brain in order to contribute something. And man, it's haaaaaaard after 15 years of not flexing that particular muscle. God does it ever make me appreciate fic writers even more tho 👍).

    Anyhoo,

    Graaaaace? Wotcha doin? Gurl needs to take a chill pill. Think Dani might beat Sarah to moving Grace's bed to the courtyard after that lil outburst 😋.

    Grace's unease practically leaps off the page. Feels like she's not adjusting to her new role as easily as she thought she would. Granted the killer indigestion isn't exactly helping.

    At least she's as weirded out by the King as I am. What is his deal? And what's the deal with the book? And are they connected? Mysteries, wrapped in enigmas, wrapped in a tortilla and drizzled with hot sauce.

    Nice to see Carl again. I also wonder about him. Methinks there's more to him than simply being the blacksmith equivalent of Bob Ross.

    And I continue to love your Sarah voice, obvs.

    Good to have you back!! Just remember not to force it. Don't feel like you need to prop the tag up by yourself. The content comes when it comes.

      Glad to see you around, and to see that you’re still as invested with these characters like I am. I may be doing the fic writing, but at this point, I’m YOUR number one fan 😅

      Part of me has this naïve hope that when the DF game releases this year it may bring some people back to the tag. Though I’m sure that solely depends on if the characters somehow make some kind of appearance in it, though I find those chances rather slim. Anyway, if it happens, I want to be here waiting with open arms for those newcomers, if they ever choose to come

        I'm ever hopeful that now the movie's popping up on Netflix and stuff, there might be a bit of interest. People who are going into it with an 'I heard it was shit, but I'm bored and I'm not paying extortionate cinema prices to see it, so why not?' kinda mindset.

        Or people who heard about 'the John thing' when it got spoiled and wrote off the movie in a blind rage might decide to hate watch it and be surprised.

        Okay, maybe not the second one. Hardcore haters gonna hate hardcore after all 😋.

          True dat, and I didn’t even consider it’s release on Netflix to weigh in, youre right. That could have a big impact.

          I *was* gonna say the new Netflix anime may help, but I think the creator is a DF hater so… no. That won’t really do anything.

          Either way, I’ll be here. Even if I’m slow as a tortoise, I’m not going anywhere

            Great to have you back! Not a gamer but a DF game sounds interesting. It could reveal what the other REVs (1-8) are. It'd be great if it had voice-over work by NR/MD with a ret-conned, "surprise' ending revealing that D&G are a same-sex couple.

            Do you have any ideas for a DF sequel? A good one would be where Sarah and Dani have destroyed a number of high tech research facilities. It results in a slightly different future that Grace comes back from. One where she met Dani when she was OVER 18... (I have a few more ideas if interested..)
