    I'm so very delighted that this got a proper ending, even though that ending is as bitter sweet as they come.

    Also:This story deserves so much more comments/kudos/praise.

    Love the use of the Little Meremaid as a red thread throughout the story. Maybe the obvious choice considering the characters backgrounds, but it just meshes so well with your writing style and supports the sense of inescapable heartbreak and tragedy.

    Your worldbuilding also flows very well and I adore this AU world, especially because there are all this little nods to canon things, that might be slightly transformed but still recognisable (or maybe I just see things). Sometimes AUs stray very far from everything, but your characters still feel like themselves.

    Last but not least: Thanks for writing something with Garth in a starring role. Still my DC favourite.
