    Your actually one of the reason I decided to do that. I've read many stories in which Izuku gets a persona, but I think out of all of them Gilgamesh has fit the best.

    I'm also a big fan of the final fantasy franchise, so that is also a factor that helped me decide to pick Gilgamesh as his persona.
