    Ok so I def shed a few uh…rivers while reading this. since it made me reflect on my own relationship with my own Asian dad, with how you characterized and portrayed shiro and his own dad (and even with his mom in comparison). How they love each other but it’s ✨complicated✨#daddyissues. But genuinely beautiful written. Thank you for sharing this with the world!!💖💖💖

      Thank you for your comment, this means the world to me. 💖 I feel like in fics I read, Shior's relationship with his parents tends to be shiny and lovely, but that just felt too… simple and tidy. This took a while to write because I feel like there's so much there, between the three of them, and I had to find it. But they do all love each other despite how complicated it is, and Shiro isn't one to give up, and I feel like that had to come from his parents.
