    Yes to all of this!!!!!! And I definitely can't wait to write the messier parts of Snape and Lily's friendship. Second chap is up, and it definitely includes some "?????? THATS my husband???????" Energy.

    James and Belby will absolutely be the sort of friends to try to one-up each other on how crazy their spouses are.

    James: Yeah well my wife tried to jump off the bloody astronomy tower at hogwarts yesterday to test her flight charms.
    Damocles: I know.
    James: You know?
    Damocles: I caught them jumping off the roof of our house last week. Doesn't count, they were doing it together.

    Damocles: It was an amphithere. They're basically just snakes with wings but I'm fairly certain he kidnapped a baby dragon, yes.

    Oh and Moody ABSOLUTELY will have a soft spot for Severus that's one of my favorite headcanons in general actually!

      i can see Moody trying to startle people by trying to shout 'Constant Vigilance' and Severus, always jumpy in the presence of unfamiliar people unthinkingly cast a punchy-expelliarmus or sth similar before he's gotten the first syllable out lolol
