    So it is. Pon Farr I know is the one from the classic series, which seemed to be easier to understand. As I don't follow the derivative series ( I only followed until Deep Space Nine ), I'm "out of touch" with what they decided on the subject. There seems to be a series called "star trek strange new worlds", where characters from the original series are being introduced little by little. Maybe I'll watch this one when (and if) my favorites are all there. At least the Triumvirate. For now I'm going to settle for the 'classic series and the reboot trio ( Pine/Urban/Quinto ) of movies.
