Omg, I love all the build up to this moment! I'm guessing they thought Tommy was ripping his skin off or something, and maybe Wilbur suspected something when they were at the "vet". Now the three of them are going to feel so bad for what Tommy had to go through.
Yeah, Phil and Wilbur freaked out because they thought it was Tommy's skin, but Techno had some concept of clothing so he was calmer. Puffy confirmed, but it made Wilbur start thinking back on Tommy's actions and put the pieces together. Still a major surprise though, lol
