Comment on I could see your shadow in the water (beneath the castle where you broke my heart)

  1. I just found your story and I am completely addicted. I feel truly sorry for Aemon, but also for Aemond and Lucerys. It seems that control, obsession and violence match the coping behavior of Aemond. And I love your offering of his character to us, it explains a lot!!
Lucerys female version is a heroine to me! The love she has for her children is warlike and I adore that. And of course Aemon, my little baby, and his siblings have a special place right now in my heart. I hope that Aemond is going to develop thanks to his grieving and shock. Well... it seems it didnt work out the last time... but theres hope left :D

All in all: thumb up! great work/job! <3

    1. Thank you for you comment! And yes you are spot on in your analysis of Aemond. I think he’s been at war, ever since he lost his eye, for so long he doesn’t know how to live in peace. So the minute something triggers those war drums he becomes a total beast. It also doesn’t help that his peaceful state is still very Not Normal, look at all those marital rapes what an asshole. I’m very glad you liked Lucerys and little Aemon, means I did my job right.
