Comment on Letters to Hans

  1. Seriously the only way Hans plan would have worked (and would have shown he is evil) is if he had kept either Elsa or Anna alive and married to him…

Or if they all were commoners then the laws would have been different. (If it’s commoners marrying commoners then yes Hans plans would have made sense but it’s not and everybody knows it…)

(Also along with the trolls, I also say the spirits and that glacier in the second movie are also extremely sus and scream “Evil! I am tricking you!”)

    1. Agreed about the spirit thing and Trolls.

And yes, Hans' plan makes no sense by human standards which is also why I think the Trolls had something to do with it.

Hans definitely would not have survived as long as he did with his brothers if he was not at least some what good at planning.

Also he had some kind of important job that I don't remember that he would have to be good at planning at to be able to have said job, so I do not buy he would have made that dumb of a plan.

      Or revealed said plan.

Cause what was the point in revealing it?

If he was evil, he could have just kissed her and played dumb about why it didn't work.

He didn't have to reveal it but he did for some reason which is just so baffling to me.

It just seems like he was not in full control (kind of like with Lomi in the mcu) and someone wanted him to be the blame for everything.

I honestly have no idea what the writers were thinking.

      1. I know what happened.

They ran out of time but knew they could not have their Disney princess/queen be hated so they made Hans the villain as a fast fix…

        Which backfired very badly….

Not that it matters now as Elsa and Anna are sadly one of the most hated Disney characters Disney has.. (the sequel ruined them more than they already were).

        1. I don't even know why they chose Hans instead of just making the villain the girls' parents (via the way they reacted to Elsa's magic), the Trolls, one of Hans' siblings, miscommunication, or the fucking Duke of Westleton who was annoying as all living hell.

All of those options would have made more sense than Hans if they didn't want Elsa to be the villain. But no, they just decided to not do that in favor of making kristanna canon without the added work of having Anna have an adult conversation with Hans. Like why?

I honestly feel so bad for Hans because he got fucked over so bay.

          His parents suck.

          Most of his brothers suck.

And the Trolls definitely did something to him.

And now he's being punished under the watch of his abusers.

Also Disney needs to stop making the abused characters the fucking villains when they aren't heroes.

Like come on dude, you couldn't have had a side character be an abuse victim who despite not getting the girl still got away from his abusers?

I would have died of happiness if after Anna and Elsa undid the whole frozen kingdom thing, Anna decided to choose Kristoff or decided that she just wanted to be friends with both of them. And if she relayed that to them like an adult and still found a way to make it where Kristoff didn't live in the woods isolated and where Hans didn't have to go home to his abusers.

But of course Disney just wanted a fast ending instead of one that would have made sense.

          1. Or kept Elsa as the misunderstood villain…. I mean she already has a lot of villain traits and with her as a villain it makes the most sense.

I know and yes the duke makes more sense.

I know, I also wish they would redeem bad guy villains too. (Seriously! All of the redeemed ones are female and maleficent!? Seriously!? She is called the mistress of evil for a reason!!!)

But no…. In truth I blame the director Lee. She is one of those toxic feminist who think all men are evil…. And also in the end Disney cannot have their princesses hated or be evil or make mistakes and such because they need to sell princess merchandise.

I know! Also Hans would have been useful to them not only because it’s clear he is competent. But arendelle needs and army and Hans being a naval admiral would have also been useful. (Like seriously? How long do you think it will last without an army? Arendelle has no defenses since who knows when)

And yes like making nobody a bad guy in the first movie would have worked better. (On the other hand the sequel desperately needs a bad guy ala maleficent or something…..)

And also if they had stuck with redeeming Hans like they promised to do that also would have been great!

            1. Agreed.

Elsa being a misunderstood villain would have been good.

No one needs to be seriously punished that way.

And redeeming Hans would have been great.

And again, Hans could not have been a naval admiral without being good at planning.

You expect me to believe that the 13th son of the king and Queen who was treated terribly was just given that title over his brothers?

Yeah, no. He had to have been good at planning.

              Also that's another inconsistency.

Hans could have just attempted to take out his own family members until he or Lars (his nice brother) were crowned. And people likely wouldn't have suspected it of him since he was a naval admiral and had never done anything back against his brothers before.

              1. I know!!

Also nobody would have objected. With Hans being a naval admiral it is also clear that he would have had the support of his people so ya if he wanted the throne getting rid of his family (minus Lars) would have made more sense.

                1. He also wouldn't have had to even get rid of all of them.

Just his parents and the two brothers who are older than Lars (the nice brother) would have been the better option.

Lars would have made sure he was treated better and if any of the brothers tried to kill Lars they would have been sent away or killed.

It would have settled things better.

                  1. I know and also Hans could have in a way ruled by helping and protecting Lars. (Hate to say this but Lars is weak and would need Hans to rule so it would be a mutually beneficial thing for both of them)

                    1. Yeah.
