    Personally I just picture the opening scene to Cromartie High School, with Izuku sitting awkwardly in the middle of a whole classroom of rough delinquents. Instead of biting a pencil, someone eats his pen whole thanks to their Quirk.

      Okay, I'm laughing a little because I stumbled on your Digimon story (looks great, by the way, I'm on chapter 4 now), at the same time, I was working on my own idea for a My Hero Academia x Digimon story. You even have a similar start-up to my idea because I was planning to make it where several hero schools have a joint training camp together instead of it only being Class 1-A and Class 1-B. I guess we both didn't want to just do the basic thing of picking students from only UA.

      My idea was that Izuku Midoriya, Saiko Intelli, Inasa Yoarashi, Kashiko Sekigai, Reiko Yanagi, Shikkui Makabe, and my oc from Seijin Saul Yamamoto arrive in the Digital World. They are supposed to be seven out of the thirteen emblem bearers of the Royal Knights.

      I thought I would let you know, and we could talk about it to make sure it doesn't seem like I'm stealing your idea if I do end up going through with the story. Because I'd feel so bad about the possibility of taking another author's idea even if I didn't mean to when I came up with it. So, glad I found out when I did because I'm still in the outline phase with mine.

        Oh, that's neat! I'm always pretty happy to find another MHA/Digimon crossover to hopefully read, so I'll definitely be looking forward to that!

        That is an interesting roster, there's a few picks there I would not expect.

        Anyway, I wouldn't worry too much; I don't think so highly of my own works that I would assume someone would want to steal from them (especially since I'm already basically just stealing from Digimon Adventure anyway, so really, who am I to judge).

          Here's hoping that I can get into writing it. Luckily, I have a pretty good idea of what I'm aiming for already with it.

          Yeah, I may change the line-up a little bit (maybe swap Reiko for Setsuna), but for the most part, I like it. I tried doing only UA students in the line-up but couldn't get into it. It just felt so bland. There were also a lot of neat characters during the Provisional License Exam arc that I liked. Plus, I'm the kind of writer that needs to add an oc into their works. I find it helps motivate me to write the story.

          Okay, I wanted to let you know because, again, I would feel so bad if it felt like I was stealing your stuff. I know people can have similar ideas without knowing about the other's story, but I am so self-conscious about the idea that I'm stealing from someone else without realizing it.

            Setsuna's one of my favorites, so I will not argue that decision. In my case, it really was because I just really wanted to use Saiko, since I could easily picture her introducing a level of negativity to the group that I could see any UA character do (well, a character that I wanted to write for, anyway). Since I was twisting myself to include Saiko anyway, I threw in Camie as well just so she wouldn't be the sole outsider (in hindsight, including Camie and Mina was a mistake, since they end up melting together a lot in their personalities as I write, but oh well, I have to work with the hand I have now).

            Anyway, I get it, but I assure you there is no need to worry. There would have to be some kind of really messed coincidence for our ideas to somehow intersect so much that I would consider there being some kind of inspiration. Just write what you wanna write, and don't worry about it!

              I agree with you on that. She adds this level of selfishness and arrogance that can really mess with team dynamics, paving the way for some conflict within the group as well as some other exciting dynamics. I can understand having those regrets too because I was not too fond of the way I was writing my first Kamen Rider Deku story. Luckily, I was early enough into it that I could just stop, take a year off to revise it, and post the rewrite at the beginning of this year.

              Thank you for your words. I'll try to make sure it doesn't overlap a crazy amount if I go through writing it, but I'm sure there may be some overlap due to us using two of the same characters. Also, one of the overlaps will be their Quirks getting weakened because I feel like that is a mandatory thing that needs to be done.
