    Ahh, that makes sense why. Was not aware of Jeanne's social circle being rather small and how many are out in the field or out of action. Is like their darkest hour for the cast here.

    Here I thought the Rodan part was more foreshadowing of the depressing kind, good to know it is actually not. Is good to see how the bond gets tighter though as it does make one wonder how and why it happened.

    Enjoying the slow burn, will be much more natural as I can actually see the progress as to why they might like each other and be comfortable to date each other. Is like that Dante and Lady teasing I saw in the last story, well with the supernatural warrior with the relatively normal ally.

    Just to make sure I read it right, will Blood Moon immediately take place after this or will there also be a time skip like the beginning of this story? Just making sure as that is rather fast paced back to back adventures. Good to know that that this story is technically taking place a the same time with DMC5, so a single day is understandable with how many things will be along the way.

      Yeah, this is very much the darkest hour of the squad.

      It's meant to be kind of depressing, as Butterfly being in an antagonistic role despite being one of the major influences in Bayonetta's is jarring as to how she has been presented. I did have a few moments for the Madama in Eclipse where she showed reluctance to help and eagerness for Bayo's death, so hopefully its not too out there in terms of ideas presented here.

      Thats good to hear! Even if I manage to just get Bayo and Luka on the path of 'they could see each other in a romantic light', that's a hell of an improvement than Bayo 3's 'their entire relationship is offscreen'.

      There will be no epilogue for this story. Once the final chapter is completed, it will go straight into Blood Moon and its first chapter will pick up from where we left off.

      The prologue, however, will be something completely different.
