I read this series a year or two ago and never got over how much I loved it. I admit I knew *nothing* about Piett, Veers, or Venka when I started (and I kept mixing Veers and Venka up the first time I read it XD) but I gradually grew to love the characters! I'm no fan of the Empire, but I remember feeling that you did a masterful job portraying a few good people trapped in a terrible system made up of (and controlled by) a lot of bad people. I never thought I'd like an Imperial Admiral or General but your writing of the characters absolutely won my heart!! I'm super excited to reread this because I only remember a little bit here and there--i'd completely forgotten how FUNNY it was!! (the stormtroopers throwing up and Piett being like "*sighh* yep. this is normal flying for vader." I am cackling.)
Overall, I just LOVE this fic! This whole series actually! 100/10!!
