    I would love to read more of this. And yes, Anakin does want to get away from the Emperor, even if he can't even admit it to himself. Anakin is Palpatine's biggest victim and part of the unending tragedy of star wars is that not even Anakin realises it.

      I agree, Anakin wont ask for help even if he didn't think he deserved it, because Palpatine knew how to manipulate him to think the torture is ok.
