    Yeah, the demon recruitment and being more explicit with mentioning them being used in combat situations has been underutilized. Similar to how being able to fight normal monsters hasn’t really been brought up much, we have been kinda busy with trying to establish the world to try to factor that stuff in more obviously. Once we get into later arcs, I’m sure you’ll see we start being a bit more clear with those details (downside of no actual gameplay is you’re limited by what you’re able to write).       Between establishing the world and writing fake game combat the priority should be the world building, it's just that i would like to see how the demons would affect the everyday life of the people (beyond ending the world and attacking inocent people) because i can see some of the demons being useful for economic purposes, with some being used as pets and other considered pests. But that is just one way they could be used, because in the end its not my story and i would be happy to read whatever it is you two come up with, i just want more of it.
      *side note; this is just a thought i had that could help with writing about the gameplay if you're interested, you could write the gameplay parts like a game walkthough or like those old nintendo power guides with tips and tricks for the players, kind of like Vermis: the oficial guide for a game that does not exist

        Excuse the late response, but the thought of this comment did cross my mind.

        So when it comes to demons, yeah the combat part is a bit underutilized as Catty said. That's something we'll work on a lot more.

        As far as story goes, yeah we felt the first two arcs did underutilize the presence of demons, which is why in Arc 3 they are far more relevant and will be A LOT more relevant in Acts 2 and 3. At the same time though, a lot happens within the time frame of when Tokyo fell to present day. There's also major events within the history of Tokyo which have greatly impacted demons' role in the story. There are bits and pieces regarding what happens, but once things are fully fleshed out to the reader, hopefully you'll look back and understand why demons are in the roles they are now.
