I missed your author's note and completely missed that your first language isn't English. This chapter sounded wonderful! As for use of quotations, it wasn't difficult to figure out, and you could petition a beta reader to adjust all of that. Anyway, I love that the reader character basically sprinted from their crush. What a mood. And the imagery of Paul walking between the pews, tall and lithe as he is, was 👌
tbh im slightly afraid of including a beta reader, just because my fics usually sort of...appear out of the blue. and then they get left on hold cause a new man of the hour appears.....
That's one hundred percent me! I flip flop from fandom to fandom constantly; I tell myself I'm not allowed to post something unless it's done or has twenty chapters, but I'm a fool for attention.
