    This is a really cool story idea. Also, I just thought it should be made known that this is my first introduction to literally anything Percy Jackson related, so thank you for piquing my interest. What are the books like? Are they good? The characters sound interesting and I absolutely love mythology fiction, so I'm wondering whether I should give it a go.

      Theres a book that describes it much better than me, but basically- the book is entertaining, but has bad messages and the author is an asshole. I would say... probably no? You can if you want. Also percy is a little OOC so sorry about that-

        I skimmed the article you linked. Thanks for letting me know. But that article was mostly just about one character, so would you consider the series worthwhile aside from her? Like, is she bad enough to ruin the whole thing, or are there other issues? Thanks so much!

          The other chapters explain a lot more problems, yeah. Like for example the ship calio romanticizes su!c!de. People are going to attack me after seeing this conversation, LOL. its a bit controversial, however true.

            I went back to read the other sections of the article. Yeah, I'll definitely keep all of that in mind. Thanks again for your input! I'd like to share some of my favorite mythological fiction series: 1) The Pandora series (Pandora gets jealous, vain, lazy, etc.) by Carolyn Hennesy and 2) the Cleopatra in space series by Mike Maihack. Both are really cool and don't get enough attention.

            P.S. The Cleopatra in Space series was adapted into an animated TV series. I haven't seen it myself, but based on reviews and the trailer it doesn't seem to share much in common with the source material except for the title and basic premise. Just wanted to avoid any confusion.
