I can barely remember at this point why I kept his name Stormstar.. I think it was because in my rewrite, Hailstar doesn't become leader, instead it was the other way around, Shellheart becoming leader while Hailtuft (i forgot what his warrior name was) is the deputy, and Shellstar would never agree on giving Stormkit the name Crookedkit. As someone with disabilities myself, I am not a fan of the renames to show their disabilities, the only ones I'm kind of okay with are One-eye and Halftail. I think both can work due to what they both mean, but personally Stormstar is my choice.
I'm glad you like the fic so much! I will definitely be continuing this now.
