    I think the other guy is talking about how the loyalists didn't make any political moves to counter the Lannister-Tyrell alliance before the war. But that's not quite the case either; they did a lot; they just didn't expect a hurricane to kill everyone and create a succession crisis.

    I give it a pass because everyone has bigger armies in this fic, and the North has to organize so many more guys and then move them a thousand miles before he can even get them down the Neck. Tywin's riding high right now, but what happens when the North and the Riverlands link up?
