    The mother thing was in scaras head Ei never saw him as a child , I dont think even Scara seriously thought Ei was her ‘mother’ in the traditional sense she was the god who who gave him life thats all ,

        I have seen many fics depicting the relationship as an actual mother and child one some even implying Ei owns him something.
        She gave him life and then a chance at a happy life , dottore messing that up is in no way her fault or responsibility.
        And honestly after what he did to the sword making clans and harmed her people not executing him is reparations enough not that anyone remembers that now ig
