Comment on A Rock and a hard place

  1. It’s funny how easy it is give reassurances to others that we ourselves don’t internalize. “No sane person would think you were weak for being tired after what I watched you do. *No One.*” A true pot-kettle situation.

Stone is amazing. I was on the edge of my seat during the rescue and felt the same relief everyone did when she and the rescuee were safe. As always, you’ve written a well-rounded character I want to know more about.

That hospital trauma, am I right? It was a brave thing Bucky did, returning to a medical environment without flinching. And look at our boy! Being assertive about friendship. And Tony reaching out to Bucky is huge and really touching. He knew Bucky would understand.

No hurry, but I can’t wait to see what happens next!

    1. My bbf (best babe friend) coming through with the literary analysis!
Can't say I haven't missed this, because I definitely have! Also, what you said, yup, all of that is a yes.

I love Stone, and I'm just getting to know her myself, despite knowing a little bit of her backstory I am really discovering her in every chapter, the space between what happened to her and how she has(and hasn't) healed in the interim.

Hospital trauma gosh. The smell is imprinted in my brain. These last few years of hand sanitizer smells have barely let me breathe

      1. Oh you know I’ve got multiple paragraphs of analysis up my sleeves, bestie!

I’ve had to cull my fabric stash to get rid of patterns that look like hospital linens, so I feel you.
