      Well, he has basically got complete control over the estate and wealth of Sir Robert Norramby - who is wealthy enough to refurbish entire castles and build an amusement park. My best guess is that Sir Robert did some really clever investing when he was young, and now he's just enjoying that wealth while Duke scrambles after him to try and keep him from bankrupting himself... so it's not a small number by any means.

      So, while Duke is no billionaire, he probably could have theoretically just about managed the sum Prince and Princess gave him.
