    Ah, I'm so glad you liked the name! I think it's obvious from the ending of the last part and because what kind of batfamily fic would it be otherwise that Jason isn't ever really able to fully integrate back into mer life. The planned second part explores that a bit more. Keiko was my first thought when I realized that's what I wanted this sequel to focus on :)

    As for the fish... I really, really wanted to explore Jason's pov about the fish, but felt like overall this chapter worked better through Bruce's eyes. I feel like all of your theories are right! In my mind I was thinking that Jason's hands probably still need a lot of work before they have a strong enough grip to catch a fish and that he wouldn't want to kill his only friends/entertainment, but you make an excellent point about the hoarding food thing as well!

      I’m looking forward to the next part, also I really liked seeing things from Bruce’s pov for a bit. I think it worked really well!
