I'm glad that you still like it as a gender swap! I would say I've also read more works where characters are trans than gender swapped too. I've read some very good ones in which Peter is trans. I really just wanted to write a Matt + Peter bonding fic, but there's already several of those (many of which are fantastic), so I wanted it to be different in some way. And I can't resist the classic Grumpy Man + Sassy Teen Girl dynamic.
