How’d Turles defeat Frieza & King Cold? Having Super Saiyan wouldn’t be enough as Turles as his base form wouldn’t be strong enough also what about people like Babidi, Dabura, Majin Buu, Shin, Beerus, Moro, the Yardratian’s, etc? How’d Turles become strong enough to beat all of them?
The movies have always had fussy powerscaling, and I didn't want to get into the numbers, but here we go:
Based on the guidebooks, Goku's power level was 30,000 in the Tree of Might movie. When Turles and Goku first fight, they're on relatively even terms. Once Turles eats some of the fruit of the Tree of Might, Goku still loses to him, even when he uses the Kaio-ken x10. Afterwards, as stated in this story, Turles eats another piece of Fruit.
So even if you want to claim that Turles was equal to Goku's base form, and the Fruit provides a power boost at x10, eating a second piece of Fruit would push Turles' power ten times that as well. Turles' new power level becomes 3,000,000. Going Super Saiyan gives a x50 times boost, giving Turles a power level of 150,000,000. The same power level Goku had when he defeated Frieza the first time.
Also, what about people like Babidi, Dabura and everyone else? Turles just took Frieza's place, and took his empire. I never said he fought everyone in the universe.
The story said that Turles destroyed anyone who didn’t recognize him as the Emperor of the Universe, on top of that with Earth being destroyed that means Buu’s egg was destroyed which would piss off Babidi or Buu’s egg wasn’t destroyed and Babidi would need to gather energy from elsewhere instead of Earth, in both cases Babidi would eventually come across Turles BUT the story said Turles died of old age meaning he had to have beaten everyone I mentioned also wouldn’t Turles have eventually come across Yardrat and get his stolen power taken away?
The line in mention refered primarily to other attempting to take Frieza's throne for themselves, like Cooler, or even Vegeta.
As for Babidi needing energy, I feel like you answered your own question. He'd have to go somewhere else to find energy. Either, he goes off searching and never ends up finding said energy until Turles dies of old age, or he was killed by Turles. At that point in time, Turles has gotten miles stronger.
And again, Yardrat is a non-factor. Yardrat's aren't fighters. They just have powerful techniques, but something like Forced Spirit Fission requires you to deal damage first; something the Yardratians are going to have a trouble doing against Turles.
Turles relied on the fruit so I doubt he’d have trained so he wouldn’t be able to take on the likes of Dabura and while Babidi is weak, he’d be able to possess Turles and since Turles is 100% evil, he’d likely be under Babidi’s control. You don’t NEED to deal damage to use Force Spirit Fission, it’s just more EFFECTIVE that way.
Turles would have to train, in order to maintain Super Saiyan, and provided he would be taking on individuals wanting to take this throne, he would get stronger through this, as well as conquering other planets.
Admittedly, yes, Babidi could possess him, but again, that's provided he ever ends up coming face-to-face with Turles to begin with. Babidi wouldn't have anything to go off of, except a destroyed Earth.
This will be my final comment on this matter: the Yardratians are not fighters. If this were the case, why didn't they fight Moro? Why didn't they fight Majin Buu? They avoid conflict, and aren't even allowed to teleport off their planet.
