    I have so many emotions encountered with this chapter that I don't know where to start hahaha

    First, those moments where Amidala is thinking about plans to defeat Gunray were great, I've imagined each one waiting for her to do it but she would then throw them away because it wasn't feasible, it played with my emotions hahaha

    Second, I won't get tired of saying how cute it is how Padme can't be Amidala if she's with Anakin, no matter what universe, they will always be vulnerable for each other.

    Third, Sabé, what a girl, always acts without hesitation when she has to, the best

    And to finish, no doubt the death of Qui-gon will always hurt regardless of the universe, the best teacher left us too soon. Now, Obi-wan and Padme's relationship is quite run over, I don't doubt they'll end up getting attached, but I'm somewhat afraid to think that in a future timeline Padme will run the same fate as Anakin. I personally think that a big factor in Ani's fall to the dark side was that Obi-wan never fully understood him and couldn't be there for him at key moments, now I doubt if Obi-wan really in his rigidity to the Jedi code can understand Padme, but I doubt this will get talked about so I stop with my ramblings hahaha (I'm just really like this universe)

      There definitely was a lot going on in this chapter - I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, Padmé and Obi-Wan definitely have a bit of a rocky road ahead of them - I absolutely have plans to write more stories set in this universe, so I'll be exploring their relationship a lot more in future installments. I left Obi-Wan deliberately on the outskirts of this story a bit to increase the impact of Qui-Gon's death and the shock of it not being Qui-Gon who'll train Padmé, but this guy she barely knows.
