And there's the warning, and a message that might be confusing for the Alternate Alternate Timeline Avengers. (I wonder how deep the rabbit hole goes.) That aside, I love how the time travellers are a bit more prepared here than they were last time, and how Tony has some mixed opinions on Loki in spite of only meeting him once. Just knowing about Thanos (and that Loki, in the end, is the reason they even had a fighting chance against him) put so much into context for him. The reflections on the first three stories also helps tie everything together, which is appropriate for the whole "going back to the inciting incident of the entire series" thing. Great job on this trip down memory lane.
Haha, I actually have an old wip were we see the the Alternate Alternate Timeline. I'd like to finish it up one day, and we see what becomes of that hint they got...
It was fun going back to these time travel scenes. It was one of my favourite sequences in the movie. Loki is such an interesting character for me. He barely gets to show up in this series, but I enjoyed it when he did. It really is tying a knot on everything that has happened since the first part. I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
