    This is a very promising start! I love when in AUs background characters get more screen time, I’m excited to read about the development of Laurent’s relationship with Erasmus, Lykaios and Kallias.

    I like your prose and Laurent’s pov as well as his dry humour.

    You left quite the cliffhanger, haha. I’m looking forward to read a new chapter!

      Aaahh it makes me so happy you liked it and took the time to comment!! In this AU, background characters definitely get a lot of screen time; I am almost done with writing the palace arc, so I can say that in the first one Erasmus, Lykaios and Kallias are honestly the most prominent characters after lamen, and it's planned in a similar way for the future arcs – for example, I think there will be quite a bit of Pallas, and Enguerran??? Lots of space and time for minor characters!

      I am also relieved the stupid humor hits home with readers. Because that's the main comedy I can offer LOL
