okay i do want to talk about a couple things in this!! you're right, tendou put down for his career path that he wanted to be an artist, so he's really only a Demon Hunter because his friends are :') he keeps them safe with his wards. he does know how to fight, and his magic is actually really powerful, he just prefers to play support rather than offense. he's a good boy your honor!!
and yes there is healing magic in this AU! it's talked about a little more in i think Igniting Fires? (the Seijou fic) basically anyone with magic can use it for healing, but it takes a lot out of you. most of the time, Hunters and witches use healing stones (first mentioned in Origins, the kuroken fic) which are special rocks infused with healing magic by enchanters (which are those who specialize in enchantments, like what leon did to the walkie talkies, infusing inanimate objects with magic to serve a specific purpose). that way they can just carry them along and say the incantation to release the healing magic from the stone onto the injury and bob's your uncle.
healing without a stone takes a lot of energy; the worse the injury, the more energy/magic it takes. to heal without an incantation is practically unheard of since Silent Magic is so difficult. so yeah, shirabu is something special :')
and yes, that's exactly what shirabu did to get them all to the shop to save semi and tendou hehe
