    WHYYY CANT THIS BE MEEE….. senior year and no parties or piano playing loser….. sighs. i binge read this SO fast.

    him comparing her to his PIANO upon first (second?) impression??? god, BRILLIANT. that’s his whole life. it’s what he’s going to his dream school for. it’s all he is. he thinks in a constant melody, and she’s the interlude — or is she the chorus, the thing he always returns to??? gorgeous. makes me want to write smth from lucy’s pov. this was phenomenal PLEASE feed us more!!!
