    Ohhhh boy. I just love the Rose family. Your narration especially regarding Aidan is just so fun !! The witticisms, the anecdotes - he's a true joy and a half. I love how he regards Shadow too. The way he adamantly says to his staff that they're going to nurse him back to health ? So very xenia. Truly a good sort, that one

      Baron Rose, while intellectually somewhat negligible, is possessed of a heart of gold. It's merely that, as his dear departed father-in-law once said, he clothes it in six layers of damn fool. Thankfully his wife has brains enough for two as well as all her strength, and the kindness and heart she might occasionally forget to apply isn't even second nature to him. It's just his nature.
