In the original timeline they were definitely more fragmented after the Dusting. Thor was drowning his grief in alcohol in the Asgardian settlement, Tony moved into a cabin with Pepper to raise his daughter, Clint was travelling the globe as a vigilante, Bruce was doing his own thing with the Hulk, and Steve and Natasha were kind of the ones left to hold down the fort in the Avengers compound. I really wanted to show them as a closer knit family in this one. It hurts to watch them all grieve, but they are helping each other through it.
