    i can’t believe you made me log in while i was incognito to comment. (said lightheartedly) but ugh. what a masterpiece. exactly the type of fic i was really longing for lately, truly made my day. the writing was so good the descriptions had me closing my eyes and envisioning the details and how every line was delivered. i’m going to go lovingly bookmark this now and then shut off my phone, giggle and kick my feet and then rant about it to everyone i know. you’re a genius and i will be so thrilled if you write for these two again. 💥💥

      oh man, you have no idea how happy this makes me! I don't have immediate plans to write about these two again, but I was thinking recently that there were a couple of threads this story dropped that maybe it would be fun to pick up in a companion piece, so who knows! 💖💖💖

        edit: finished my reread. forgot to say this the first time because i was having the life changing experience but happy belated birthday!! i need to get hit by a car and lose my memory so i can experience this again for the first time but the second time was quite enjoyable! i do think i laughed a bit more this time. Rouges “the one that got away” bit made me giggle. thank god shes here to verbally knock some sense because yeah. they don’t make signs more flashily glaringly obvious. and those two really did skip to the breakup huh 😭 the youth have no patience smh. thank you again for this i’m so glad i clicked on this fic i need to thank whatever higher powers led me here 🙏

          Ahhhh, thank you for the birthday wishes! I loved writing Rogue, it's one of the reasons I keep thinking about the possibility of a second chapter! Maybe John's POV companion piece... truly, though, thank you for the second comment -- knowing this is something you read a second time is really such an honor <33
