    Well this is suprising, hadn’t thought we’d see you make another tali/shepard fanfic after both your last trilogy cenotaph and the coma patient, which is my favorite story from you, but this is a surprise. I’m also prepared for the sad, since the bittersweet tags, and your MO of tali and Shepard stories, and how you said this is gonna have lots of darkness and loss. But, if irreparable was just as good if sad as hell, than I’m sure this will be just as good.

      Believe me, no one is more surprised than me to be back writing Shepard and Tali again :D Every time I think I'm finally out, something just pulls me back in!

      But if I'm looking at my outline for Aftershocks correctly, this story will certainly follow my sensibilities to a T, though that doesn't mean I won't be making things unpredictable every now and then. Aftershocks won't be a "rough read", but I do want it to be emotional and gritty, to make our protagonists have to really fight to overcome whatever obstacles are in their way. I certainly hope I can stick the landing.

        Hey no problem man, genuinely love your stories. From your short ones like your alternate mass effect 3 ending, rage inherent trilogy,irreparable even if it was sad and depressing, cenotaph which is probably your best trilogy, and my favorite of them all the coma patient. If this truly is a finale to your mass effect fanfics, or at the very least tali and Shepard than I’m all in, no matter how dark it gets, since even if your stories can get dark, there is another that got darker than your stories, and that trilogy never finished. Also unrelated to the story but did you create your profile picture? The one of the n7 looking quarian because it looks awasome. If not do you know the creator as I’ve never been able to find that specific pic.

          The profile picture was actually created for me from a fan of the Cenotaph trilogy (the art is depicting Roahn from that series, actually). A fellow named Rontor reached out to me on FF.net and provided me with some gratis fanart (this was before the site was overrun by bots, but it's still pretty amusing that I came across the ONE person who legitimately wanted to create fanart of a story of mine). As far as I know, he never posted his work anywhere, but I immediately adopted his work as my profile pic, because I wanted it to be seen by as many people as possible.

            Well it’s some damn good art, and appropriate it’s roahn due to how she developed in the story. I’ve only seen this and I think two other art depictions of quarians in n7 armor, and this is probably my second favorite of it, that fan did great.
