I find it adorable that mx New Guy and X end up exchanging gifts among all this chaos lol, I feel like they'd become shitty friends after this even if Mx is probably staring daggers at X every now and then. It is cute, isn’t it? I initially didn’t expect their relationship to pan out this amiably in writing, but I guess the muse just went where it did. I hope it makes for a fairly pleasant read even if it didn’t really embody the whacky & embarrassing office slapstick in the end.
The “person who sees the supernatural for what they really are” is also one of my favorite tropes, so I’m always glad to portray it :D
