  1. This is actual peak fiction right here. The writing style is delightful and so are the characters. Also, did Emily just call Vanir racist after spending half the first chapter beefing with him lol?

    1. Thank you so much for the comment! I really appreciate it. And yes, Emily did call Vanir racist. She's fully bought into the "Angels can't make mistakes" and "Demons are disgusting, loathsome beasts" mentalities, so she genuinely doesn't see anything wrong with her treatment of Vanir. The problem comes with the fact that she was also taught that angels are supposed to be kind and humble beings. Those two schools of thought are inherently contradictory.

      That's why she gets upset and calls Vanir racist when he says that he doesn't think the angels would want to be friends with him. It's a sweeping generalization goes against what she was taught about angels being kind. She doesn't even realize that she's perpetuating the angels hate demons stereotype that Vanir has in his head with the way she's acting towards him.

      I really hope you continue to enjoy the story!
