Mmm, it MIGHT be a collab between the Five Nations, but also other timelines that are frendly with them. In the Spiral story, it was just the three of them saving timelines. In this AU, they make the organization as a backup plan just in case they somehow get lost in the Narutoverse. So I MIGHT use that aspect you mention for the formation info.
Yep. And I feel Ino's clan and their allies are going to get turned too since their jutsus ARE dependent on their bodies in one place.
I feel like perhaps, at the very TAILEND of the series, perhaps Ishhiki, the last survivor, or one of them, sends an SOS signal to his clan for aid in 'clensing this land for God Tree preservation' and well...that starts a Multiverse of Madness or Marvel Zombies situation for the Narutoverse, if you go that path that is.
I see Obito deciding to fight fire with fire by using Edo Tensei, stolen from Kabuto, to battle the zombies.
Pain would be trying to find a way OFF world with other survivors.
Konan would follow Pain/Nagito.
Itachi would TRY to get 'Madara's' help.
Zetsu would be looking for other creatures like the Genryus and Satori, demons and weapons of WAR from ages past, to HAULT the swarm of zombies long enough for Kaguya to be restored.
And as for the others...they would be panicking.
The Leaf Survivors would be calling for aid from the other Nations and having hard times, although if Naruto is still alive, he MIGHT ask for aid from the damyos and people he saved in the past FOR AID in thie crisis. Like the Land of Spring and Vegtiables, the Star Village, the Moon Kingdom, etc. Places that might provide relief for their 'hero's' aid.
Yeah, your idea could certainly work too. Maybe it could be a hidden agency that was created by the five nations that just got out of control due to its secrecy.

Oh, yes! That could certainly work as an idea. I'll definitely take many of your ideas into consideration because there's so many directions I can go with this story. But I feel like Itachi would be looking for Sasuke, rather than Madara. Also, I'm going to have Pain try and weaponize the zombies because he still wants the world to feel pain like in the OG story.
And funded by MULTIPLE versions of the Five Nations to boot. And unlike the SCP Foundation, this organization SCREENS recruits and timelines so they don't accidentally get corrupted by Danzos or something. The last thing the Narutoverse needs is an evil SCP-like organization running around.
That might tramatize her a lot, BUT she could be the one that gives the survivors a REASON WHY the zombies show up via hivemind stuff.

Oh, here's a funny idea that might or might not be a spin-off. You recall the time naruto went back in time to when his dad was alive during the Lost Tower film? Well, what if Naruto, hearing of a power that might stop the zombies, goes to Sara's kingdom and like in the film, travels back in time and BEGS his dad for help saving the future...while zombies start popping up there. The zombies might or might or work but imagine THAT being a final last ditch effort on the survivors part and since Minato and Orochimaru ARE alive 20 years ago, it would be interesting to see them working togther to STOP a future zombie outbreak from starting. If you want I could make it a gift you you, or nah it's just a AU spin-off.
Ooooooo that sounds insanely interesting, maybe you could add an evil SCP Foundation variant aligned with a reborn Akatsuki if you want and that's why the main plotline happens.
Also, very good idea. I'm trying to keep the virus vague for right now so as to add to it later but the basic idea I'm thinking about is that it's evolving to find a perfect host since it was made for someone like Orochinaru and that's why it keeps spreading itself. Or I might make it Chakra based since the infected do keep their powers and skills to an extent. YES, THE ZOMBIES HAVE THEIR ORIGINAL POWERS!!
Tbh I've never actually heard of that movie before lol. But that definitely sounds like a good idea, reminds me of how they dealt with the Hate Plague in G1 Transformers as they had to look to the past to find a solution.

Like at the start they travel to timelines as part of mission but they find out more and more about the villains until they show up as rivals for the good aligned organization, one that want's to turn the Narutoverse into a DARK verse of nightmares and false hopes, thinking THAT would help with peace.

Like the virus is a NEW chakra virus that's smart and accidentally tasted Sasuke's Indra reincarnation chakra that laid dorment inside him and it NOW wants to evolve by FORCIBLY turning everyone into componets for ITS acsention into a new powerful form. Or its stealing chakra to make a more powerful body and the hive mind/zombies are the worker bees that are disposable?
It's canon to the series and it is one of the few times Naruto ever time traveled, not counting Bourto and the turtle. Plus, it would be like how DCeased tried to impliment Boostergold's time travel mission into the zombie plot, but slightly more sucessful. I mean this IS a last ditch effort to save the future, Naruto knows he will be erased from history BUT he has to get his dad's help to fix everything.
Just imagine the stakes, the horrors if the zombies show up in the past! Or even worse...this starts Naruto traveling backwards in time to find more solutons and makes things even WORSE! Like zombie Warring States, zombie Sage of Six Paths...ZOMBIE Pre God Tree Kaguya!

Yes, that's actually a really cool and different idea. I also just thought of when Ino possesses an infected she'd see all the pain and suffering their going through and how they're still somewhat conscious due to their Chakra Networks and such and so it's really F's her up for the rest of the story.
I didn't know any of the movies other than The Last were cannon but I think I'll definitely incorporate that into the story somehow. I just know by the end of the story the whole thing will be crazy lol.
Mmm, only the ones from evil timelines. But there WILL be other monsters, demon and people of interests either contained/stored away or items of terrifying power locked up. The Narutoverse has a LOT of weird stuff. I mean there are evil Narutos, Konoha bashing worlds, evil Sakura, etc. Lots of things could happen, although the organization usurally tries to fix timelines without killing said timeline by mistake BUT its in the rules that they can take/borrow/steal/buy or graverob people/items/weapons/scrolls/jutus/people of interests/summon creatures/entire continents/entire WORLDS and entire cities when the need arises. Blame Sasuke and Naruto for implimenting that rule out of a drunken dare.
Oh yeah, and it also doesn't help that her info is NEEDED to figure out a counterplan.
A lot of the films are canon. From Shion to the Gele stone film. Games too surpisingly are canon except for online. Shocking I know.

For me, working on a story involving Naruto getting amnesia and Minato/Kushina, the ones in his seal, are the ones in control during the events AFTER Hidan is killed but before Three Tails shows up. That second chapter is on the way and...I have lots more ideas afterwards...along with finishing an Epic the Musical story.
Yeah. Sakura is always the sane one in these situations...and the one that will make them NOT do anything stupid. Kinda like Rin with Obito and Kakashi if she was more violent.
First chapter is up already, the second is in the middle of getting finished. The Epic story is one chapter almost done, the rest is up at the moment if ya want to see it.
