Comment on Terry's Guide to Making Friends

Oh. Ah. I see. Yes perhaps best not to use those bandages then… guess Terry and Jay risked life and limb for absolutely fuck all. At least they got a new friend out of it! :) Glad to see my betaing is helpful.

Wait so would the infected supplies affect those who are already Cursed? I know that’s debated a bit (see Pangolin_404’s fic A Starvation. It’s really good guys please check it out if you haven’t already) but from what you’re saying I’m guessing the answer’s yes.

    1. mmm stress

yeah a new friend! very rocky start, but it can only go uphill from here. probably. hopefully.

A Starvation by Pangolin mention!! i agree y’all should read that it’s crazy good. anyway it’s hard to say but oh shoot actually I dunno if I specifically said this yet. So, Jay can’t actually benefit from actual medicinal items like sutures, bandages, medications, only potions. Also, Bosco seems… well he seems pretty okay for now, and they don’t do anything for Ash at all, so no Cursed in the group can actually benefit from using them. Since they’re basically eldritch-biohazardous goods, it’s definitely not worth keeping them around for no reason! This won’t ever be relevant, but my take is that they won’t curse a Cursed further, but they’re prone to causing more damage as opposed to healing. For instance, applying the bandage to Jay would apply nasty effects the same way Ash’s needles did.
