   The end note! The history of the sceptre is brilliant and hilarious. Maeglin has replaced the jewels in the sceptre, as they were giving Idril electric shocks.... even though she is the legitimate High King of the Ñoldor. She has ordered him to get court robes and attend the Council as her heir. Salgant sees the two of them and has thoughts. Hmmm.
