    I like how the song fic has poetic references to the actual song while still being its own original piece. Plus it’s nice to hear Tommy’s perspective and how guarded he is with his love but also can’t resist indulging it. I just adore these two ^w^

      Aw thank you! Yeah that was what I was trying to achieve something original inspired by the song's lyrics. And yeah, Tommy's completely smitten but he's still cautious - i deliberately made this vague so it could fit a number of different stories but in all of them there's something holding Maxwell back from feeling the same. We know they get through that in DWMEC :)
