    Why do they keep talking realities instead of time travel? This is apparently hundreds of years in the past for the UNSC and Hackett said they only recently began colonizing the system. No idea why Cortana would say "different histories" when the UNSC didn't encounter the Covenant until the 2500's.

    Also, kinda minor thing, is this Steven Hackett's absent father or is it supposed be Hackett himself? Because Hackett would be 16 in 2150 seeing as he was born in 2134

      Because it is a different reality. Time travel would mean going back in UNSC history to the 2100s. That didn't happen. Traveling to a different reality doesn't mean it's the equivalent time or timeline.

      I like Steven Hackett so I wanted him to be part of the initial contact, same with Anderson. Also, thank you for telling me when Hackett was born, I didn't know that.
