    (So sorry it took so long to reply, I don't have the best juggling skills on the site)

    Yeah, that's kind of why I wanted a little fic about them meeting. FatalFae wrote so much more than that than intended for the original one shot and I'm forever grateful.

    They do have similar backgrounds, but I feel like their stories went in opposite directions. Riley is still a demon hunter, albeit a married one, by the end of his run. Connor had come to terms with who Angel is and his own place in the world.

    Well, I'm gonna do my best with Buffy, no worries. This is a slight au and we have been given no indication that she knew about Angel becoming a father, so she's coming into this with no idea about Connor whatsoever. I doubt Willow had time to mention plenty of details to her (*grumbling* like the disgusting thing between Connor and fake!Cordelia, but I digress...)
