      hhahahahahahha sorry!! I knew I wanted to start with THW and Phainon on the pier, bc in The Last Five Years, it's just Cathy, alone, singing about the heartbreak of her marriage's failure. I just wanted Phainon to get a little bit of comfort, even if it's a small one in the face of the horrors he's going to have to shoulder, especially since now he's going to keep the memory of this cycle (where he and Mydei GOT MARRIED) in his heart forever.
