A very different Harry Potter

Summary:

When Vernon abandons Harry to die in the woods, magic takes him to a safer place. When he returns, he's not like anyone had expected him to be, leaving them with many questions none but the boy himself can answer.

Where did he live all this time and where does he go to at the end of every year? Who is this mysterious family he always talks about? And more importantly, how will this affect the war with Voldemort?

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This is a crossover, but I'm not saying with which fandom it is. Let's see if anyone can figure it out

ONE thing that I will say is that several characters on the other side of the crossover are older than they are in canon. Just try to remember that

Chapter 1: First year

When Vernon Dursley found the baby on his doorstep, he abandoned it in the woods where his magic took him someplace safe, not to be seen for many years

First year:

- Eleven year old Harry not answering any of his letters

- Hagrid going to find him, only to hear that they had abandoned James's and Lily's son to die

- The Wizarding World being in an uproar once the news leaks

- Minerva sending out countless more owls to try and find him, one female snowy owl not returning

- Harry somehow still managing to arrive at Platform 9 3/4, having nothing more than the rather odd clothes on his back

-The snowy owl who somehow delivered his letter sitting on his shoulder, showing him the way to the platform

- Harry missing the Weasleys because he arrived way earlier and didn't need their help

-Draco being the first student to find him and seeing Harry stare at him in shock

- Harry shaking his hand because something about the pompous boy reminds him of home

- Harry shocking everyone during the sorting by simply walking forwards when his name is called and not looking at all like they imagined

- Not a tiny version of James, gangly and thing but a very strong and confident boy nonetheless

- The hat sorting him into Slytherin with a speed that rivalled Draco's sorting

- Harry just rolling his eyes at Dumbledore's warning. 

- "I face death practically every day with my brothers. Big deal."

- Him managing the snake pit that is the Slytherin common room with ease

- Naming his owl Danielle

- Minerva taking him for an emergency shopping trip the next day when she realises he doesn't have a wand or anything

- "We didn't exactly have a place to buy these things, professor. I'm still surprised your owl managed to find me and dodge my brothers."

- Harry managing to impress the goblins by simply treating them with respect. 

- Getting a wand made of fir wood with a Phoenix feather 

- Harry shrugging off any insults Snape throws at him, much to the man's anger

- Laughing when he's called "Prince Potter."

- Shrugging of reactions to his fame just as easily

- Harry slowly managing to befriend Draco, Daphne, Pansy, Blaise and Theo

- Him being the only one not panicking when the troll is announced

- Actually sneaking away to go and find it, because it can't be as bad as what he lives with

- Stabbing the troll in the leg with a dagger his uncle gave him

- The troll knocking itself out by crashing through the wall while hopping on one foot

- Becoming friends with Hermione behind the backs of Draco and the others

- Harry not being able to cope with the cold of Scotland in the winter

- "How do you people not freeze to death?"

- The Malfoy family inviting Harry over for Christmas once he tells Draco he won't go home

- Harry staring at Lucius the way he stared at Draco. 

- "Draco, is your family perhaps related to my mother's?" 

- "I should hardly think so. Your mother was a muuuuuuu.....ggleborn"

- (Narcissa had given him a glare)

- Harry still getting the invisibility cloak for Christmas

- Thinking he could use it to sneak past his brothers, before realising that's not a good idea

- Draco still getting in trouble for selling out Ron and Hermione with Norbert

- "I'm telling you, Harry. It was a bloody dragon."

- "There are dragons here? Where?!"

- "How is that the thing you're focused on?"

- Harry quickly becoming very good friends with Hagrid after that, much to Draco's disapproval

- Daphne finding him in the library with his nose buried in a book about the different dragons 

- "So many dragons, Daphne! Do you think I can have this book?"

- Ms. Pince teaching Harry on how to order a copy of the book

- Harry accidentally killing Quirrel by grabbing his hand when Quirrel had fallen because of his strength failing

- Dumbledore talking about his mother's protection and Harry having a very different image in mind

- The stone still getting destroyed.

- Slytherin truly winning the house cup this time

- Harry getting the photo album and finally seeing what his biological parents looked like

- Harry's friends all inviting him over, but him saying he's going home

- Harry simply disappearing off the platform with his new things and owl

Chapter 2: Second year

- Harry's friends writing him letters that return unopened even without Dobby doing anything

- Harry immediately getting buried with questions when he arrives at the platform

- "Guys, I told you the owls wouldn't find me. We're still trying to figure out how Dani found me."

- Danielle being a very smug owl in her cage

- Minerva having his things ready this year

- Lockhart being sent to the hospital wing the first time he tried to use harry to elevate his fame with a stab wound in his side

- Harry later saying he meant to aim higher

- Deciding to stay as far away from the mystery as he can, knowing how mother will kill him if he doesn't

- Finding the passage to the Shrieking Shack purely by accident while training outside and hitting the Whomping willow

- Immediately deciding it would be his new training space, using his cloak to get there

- Cheering Draco on during his first quidditch game with the others

- Hearing about the monster of Slytherin and just thinking "cool."

- Using his Parseltongue casually, having known it was a different language for years

- "What? I talk to my brothers all the time like this. Drives our mother mad"

- Shrugging off the whispers about him being the Heir, having been called worse

- Staying at Hogwarts for the winter and wondering why Crabbe acts rather weird one day

- Staying friends with Hermione and is devastated when she gets petrified

- Harry, Ron, Draco and Lockhart somehow going to the chamber at the end of the year together and harry getting separated from the others

- Harry meeting Tom Marvolo Riddle.

- "And I thought my mother had a weird name."

- "What?" 

- Nothing!"

- Harry still having to fight the basilisk, but still getting help from fawkes and the sword of Gryffindor

-"I wish my brothers were here. They could take this thing on with ease."

- Managing to avoid getting poisoned by the basilisk by using his non-dominant arm to stab it, having learned that from his uncle

- Harry still stabbing the diary when Lily gets called a mudblood

- He may not remember his parents, but they had sacrificed their lives for him and he was not going to let a ghost shit on their memory

- An uneasy alliance being formed between Draco, Harry and Ron by the former two helping the latter save Ginny

- Harry's Slytherin friends finding out about his friendship with Hermione and being very unamused

- Harry reminding his friends once again that their owls won't reach him

- Him disappearing again, despite some people trying to follow him

Chapter 3: Third year

- Danielle continuing to be an awesome owl and managing to bring letters and presents to Harry this year

- Harry coming back to a chaotic Wizarding World

- His friends catching him up about there being a mass-murderer after him

- "Harry, did you just try to stab a dementor?"

- "well, I sure was not going to just sit there and let it do... whatever it was doing."

- Minerva immediately taking him over for examination and several officials arriving at Hogwarts to ask where he was

- "Uhm, home?"

- him practically falling asleep as the adults rant about keeping him safe and Minerva sending him to the feast

- Still being friends with Hermione despite the disapproval of the others

- Pulling Draco back when he was about to be stupid with Buckbeak

- "Draco, I've grown up with animals like Buckbeak and trust me, that's a bad idea."

- His boggart being a woman with white blonde hair laughing madly, following by a sea of fire

- Harry going back to the Shrieking Shack after Halloween, only to find it occupied

- "Hey, aren't you the guy everyone thinks is after me?" 

- "You're not scared of me?"

- "Are you going to try and eat me?"

- "What?! No!"

- "Then you're already better than my brothers. So why are you really here?"

- Enlisting the help of Hermione and her cat to catch Wormtail and bring him to Professor Mcgonagall

- Sirius getting an actual trial

- Sirius wanting to get full custody of Harry, but Harry telling him who his family is and why that isn't a good idea

- Compromising with the offer to go to his home instead and Sirius accepting

- Nothing much of importance happening for the rest of the year apart from Harry properly meeting his former uncle Moony 

- Harry still learning the patronus charm but it taking on a shape that gives Remus a heart attack

- Him going home with Sirius, feeling very satisfied

Chapter 4: Fourth year

- Harry coming back to an even more chaotic Wizarding world.

- "Don't tell me someone's after me again." 

- Harry shivering at hearing about the Death Eater attack at the World Cup

- Draco actually feeling rather ashamed to admit his father was one of them

- Harry's friends quickly noticing something is wrong with their friend during the train ride

- "What are you talking about? I'm fine!" 

- "Harry, you have ten seconds to tell us before we go to professor Snape and have him force Veritaserum down your throat."

- "He'd do it too."

- "Ugh, fine. My mum and one of my brothers are missing while the other two are locked up. Happy now?!"

- Utter silence falling in the compartment at that admission, before his friends apologise 

- Daphne carefully asking how it happened and him telling a mostly true story

- Telling about how they were ambushed by people wanting his mother dead, even after many years of them living there

- About how they had been surrounded and not even his magic had been able to keep them away

- About how his mother had clung onto him, before his older brother had come to the rescue

- Telling them with a shaky voice about how his mother and brother had disappeared after that

- "My uncles have been taking care of me before I felt the pull to come here, but I want my mother back." 

- Harry being understandably glum during the opening feast and not even hearing the announcement about the Triwizard Tournament 

- The friends he made across the houses, led by Hermione, actually asking Draco and the others what's wrong with him

- Draco surprisingly being the one to tell them about Harry's family being missing and them being just as horrified

- Hermione giving Harry a tight hug next time she meets him in the library and him just quietly breaking down

- Harry starting to laugh like crazy when his name comes out of the goblet

- All his friends immediately believing he didn't do it as he has enough things to worry about

- The "Potter stinks" badges not being as popular with some of the highest ranking Slytherins behind him

- His friends all getting genuinely worried about him when he hears the first task is dragons and smiles.

- Them then remembering his obsession from first year and not being that surprised anymore

- Harry simply asking the dragon for the fake golden egg and getting it within five minutes

- Rumour going around that Harry will take Daphne to the Yule Ball and him immediately denying that

- "No offence, Daphne, but you remind me a bit too much of my mum to be comfortable with you as a date."

- "Considering what I heard about her, I'll take that as a huge compliment." 

- Harry taking Hermione instead before Viktor can

- His friends eventually accepting the fact that Hermione was not leaving and making sure she isn't hurt by other Slytherins

- Draco taking Daphne to the ball instead

- Harry and Hermione having a wonderful evening, but Harry wanting to keep it there

- "Did I do something bad?"

- "Of course not, Mione. It's just, if we do get together, you will have to meet my brothers one day."

- "I'm sure I can handle your brothers, Harry. Don't worry about it."

- Harry whispering something in her ear and her squeaked "What?!" echoing over the grounds around Hogwarts

- Harry having the most trouble with the cold lake water during the second task, having to get Hermione out of it.

- Hoping that things will be over after the third task so he can go home and find his mother

- Him taking the cup alone as Cedric had heard about how he was dealing with things back home and (not knowing what it was) hoped the money would help

- Voldemort still being resurrected and Harry meeting the spirits of his biological parents for the first time

- "Your mother is fine, Harry. She's waiting for you. Get ready to take the cup!" 

- Arriving safely back at Hogwarts and getting taken away by fake Moody

- Dumbledore, Mcgonagall and Snape storming in to find fake Moody dead with a knife in his throat 

- All three of them staring at Harry in utter shock at seeing this

- "What? He was clearly crazy and going to kill me. I simply didn't give him the chance

- "Mr. Potter, where did you get that dagger?"

- "Oh, please. I carry at least three blades on my body at any time."

- His friends from all houses staying at his side during his recovery

- The Slytherins being incredibly subdued at realising Voldemort was back and they might have to fight their friend

- Harry just keeping his head down for the rest of the year even as Dumbledore announces Voldemort's return

- The train ride being incredibly quiet as Hermione joins the Slytherins without complaint from either side

- The Slytherin part of his friends all hugging him as they know that starting next year, things would be completely different

- Several people trying to follow Harry when he leaves the train, both for good and bad reasons only for him to disappear once again

- Harry seeing his mother waiting for him with his brother and falling into her open arms, crying in both relief and fear as he lets everything out 

- Him fighting and training harder than ever before, determined not to lose anyone again

Here are the first four chapters. I wasn't feeling very productive, but wanted to get something posted today and I had part of this written already anyway, so here you go.

Not sure when the next four chapters will be though

Also, I don't really have an explanation for how Harry goes back-and-forth between home and Hogwarts, but you're free to come up with your own theories

Chapter 5: Fifth year

- A rather solemn Harry returning to the train

- His slytherin friends immediately noticing it

- "What's wrong, Harry? Is your mother still missing? 

- "No, she's back and my two imprisoned brothers are free too. I even helped them kick some arse."

- "Then why the long face?"

- "We're moving. I don't want to move. One of my uncles is staying behind and I'm scared I won't see him again."

- His mood still being significantly better than last year even as his friends warn him things will be dangerous in their house

- Draco choosing his friendship over loyalty to Voldemort by telling Harry what he's been up to

- Hermione in turn telling him about the Order of the Phoenix 

- Said Order meetings taking place at The Burrow as without Sirius, they can't get into Gimmauld Place

- Harry immediately knowing to keep his head down at hearing Umbridge's speech

- Umbridge trying to needle a reaction out of him during the first Defence lesson

- Harry completely ignoring said attempts to the amusement of his friends

- "We all heard a certain wizard has returned. This is a lie. What do you say, Mr. Potter?"

- "Nyke pendagon ao knagon hae zaldrīzes qrugh."

-Silence at hearing him speak a language no one has heard before

- "What did you say?"

- "I said whatever the teacher says is correct, professor."

- Umbridge being unable to prove what he said and very reluctantly letting it go

- Pansy later asking what he actually said.

- "I said she smelled like dragon shit."

- Everyone bursting out into laughter at that

- Harry still befriending Luna and the Slytherins not being as opposed this time

- Harry and Hermione continuing their relationship.

- Dumbledore ignoring Harry again and Harry being totally fine with it, to Hermione's surprise

- "What? He probably had the power to help me with the Tournament and get Sirius free, but he didn't."

- Hermione protesting that he's still the headmaster

- "Yeah and my mum found me in the wilds as a baby and professor Mcgonagall told me he put me with my vile relatives." 

- "It's not that hard to put two and two together and I honestly wouldn't trust him as far as I can throw him."

- Some Slytherins overhearing this and sending the news to their parents

- Harry's status in Slytherin being a bit better now that it's clear he isn't Dumbledore's lapdog

- Umbridge finally managing to give Harry detention for a ridiculous reason

- Her being found dead with her throat slit the next day

- Harry immediately being the prime suspect, but his spell use coming up clean

- Mcgonagall and Snape remembering what he said about carrying daggers on his person

- Neither of them saying anything and Snape finally treating Harry a bit more fair

- Harry's friends asking what she did to make Harry snap

- "She made me write lines with my own blood. If she did this to me, she'd do it to others as well."

- A horrified Draco, Pansy, Daphne Theo and Blaise writing home about this without mentioning Harry's name

- Cornelius Fudge getting in trouble for this

- Kingsley Shacklebolt being the emergency Defence teacher

- The class becoming better with huge leaps the moment he starts teaching

- Hagrid still taking Grawp with him, but Harry only meeting him once

- Harry still getting the vision of Mr. Weasley being attacked and warning Snape

- Him, Hermione and the other Weasleys spending Christmas at The Burrow

- Harry being much better at shielding his mind during the occlumency lessons

- Harry having his career discussion with Snape and actually surprising him with what he wanted to do

- "Honestly, sir. I think I'll just go home again. I'm not even sure if I can even return after that."

- "You prefer your other home to the one your parents lived in?"

- "You mean preferring a world where my family is to a world where people either idolise me or want me dead? Yes."

- This conversation making him think about other things

- "Hermione, would you come home with me once we're done with school." 

- "Why do you ask?"

- "Well, I was thinking that once my time at school here is over, I might never return and we might never see each other again

- "Don't say that. I'm sure you'll find a way to come back and see me and your friends again."

- "If they're still my friends at the end of this all."

- Harry still getting the vision of his mother being hurt during History O.W.L

- Death Eaters waiting for hours at the Ministry, only for Harry not to show up at all.

-Aurors seeing an impatient Voldemort alive and well when he comes to check on the situation 

- Harry telling Hermione about the vision

- "You know, you would think they're smart enough to realise my mother isn't even in this world."

- "Not to mention your brothers would annihilate him if he even tries to come close."

- "That too, Mione. That too."

- Draco confessing he was partly responsible for him getting the vision

- Voldemort had ordered him to tell him who Harry cared about, so he had chosen someone who wasn't there

- "I guess he saw what she looked like in your memories."

- "Damn it! I thought I had my shields in order."

- Harry's Slytherin friends telling him that starting next year, they might not be allowed to be friends with him

- Voldemort had reluctantly allowed it for now to get information about him, but not anymore 

- Harry being understanding about it, before giving them a final hug or handshake

- Him having already secretly kissed Hermione goodbye

- Harry still tightly hugging his mother at seeing her again despite knowing the vision was fake

- "Is this where we'll live? It's ugly."

- It's our ancestral home, Harry. Besides, it's only temporary. Soon, we'll move again."

- "Yippee."

- Harry telling her and the rest of his family about Umbridge. 

- "No you couldn't have eaten her. You would've gotten food poisoning."

- Harry eventually preparing himself for changes in both worlds

- "Things are only going to get crazier from here on out."

Chapter 6: Sixth year

- Dumbledore still managing to get Slughorn to teach

- An incredibly pale, shaky and jittery Harry joining Hermione on the train instead of the Slytherins 

- Hermione immediately worrying over him

- The boy only saying he had the worst time of his life

- "A couple of my uncles and one of my brothers died, my aunt almost died if not for me. My family has practically been halved."

- Hermione immediately wrapping her arms around him at hearing this

- Harry burrowing his face in her shoulder, but not crying

- Draco walking past and seeing this

- Him immediately fearing the worst and quietly telling the others

- Harry immediately refusing the Slug Club invite.

- "He can go to hell with his club." 

- Daphne slipping a note into Luna's hand to give to Harry as they exit the train

- The note containing names of who he should watch out for the most

- "Keep an eye on Draco as well. The dark Lord has branded him and given him a mission."

- Harry sitting as far apart from the other Slytherins as possible during the feast

- Him only shrugging at hearing Snape is the Defence teacher while the rest of Slytherin cheers

- Minerva giving him his O.W.L results and telling him which classes he can do

- Her also having the right equipment and stuff ready for him like always

- Harry forgetting to take his potion book, because of him mourning and getting a temporary one

- "Why on earth do I have Snape's old book? Oh well...."

- Harry still getting the luck potion in the first potion class 

- Several Slytherins getting injured in the first few days when they try to attack Harry

-  Harry sitting next to Hermione during class instead

- Hermione hearing him whimper during Defence and hearing two words

- "Not again."

- Her realising that Harry's summer had been worse than she thought

- Harry soon noticing Draco acting rather weird 

- "Draco, you okay?"

- "Stay away from me, Harry. If you treasure our former friendship, stay away."

- Harry becoming kind of a pariah in Slytherin House 

- Those around his age mostly following Voldemort and the younger being afraid to get close to him

- Draco even sleeping somewhere else in case he gets the order to kill him too

- Him just shrugging it off as he still had some friends in other houses

- Both Draco and Harry waking up with either half bitten-down screams or gasps

- Harry and Hermione still continuing their relationship 

- Them going on a date in Hogsmeade

- Katie Bell still having to go to the hospital 

- Dumbledore still giving him private lessons about Voldemort until Slughorn's fake one

- Harry not being an idiot this time and immediately using the luck potion to get it

- He, Luna and Hermione quickly going to find information about horcruxes both in and outside of hogwarts

- Luna being Luna talking about a certain snake's teeth

- Harry quickly going to fetch them and put them in a special bag

- Finding Draco crying in the bathroom and simply waiting for him to let it out

- "He has my mother, Harry. If I don't succeed in this mission to kill Dumbledore, he'll kill her."

- "Want me to help?" 

- "You want to kill Dumbledore?"

- "Yeah, he's been creeping me out since first year

- "I'm sorry, Harry, but I have to do this alone." 

- "Okay, okay. Just don't use poison. There are too many innocents who might get hurt like Katie."

- "I'll do my best."

- Harry's group of Slytherin friends eventually going "screw it" and finding out ways to still keep in contact 

- Harry slowly getting in contact with Remus again, telling him about Sirius settling in his new home

- Him still refusing every invite Slughorn sends him

- Luna and Hermione helping him with his grief as much as possible, even when he refuses to cry

- "They're still with you, Harry. You just can't see them

- "I miss them, Luna."

- "I know, but you still have your mum and she is lucky to have you."

- "What do you mean?"

- "Well, i had some kind of vision during the summer. About your mother."

- Harry listening with horror to what she tells him

- "I'm never taking our relationship for granted ever again." 

- Him sending her a present through Danielle on her birthday 

- Getting an official looking letter back a couple of days later

- However, the insides simply being his mother gushing over him and thanking him for the gift

- Him smiling at seeing his mother is still his mother 

- Hermione looking over the letter with him

- "This letter looks different than the few you got during past years."

- "Yeah. Mum got a new job

- "Oh, really? Good for her. What's it like? 

- "In one word? Chaotic.

- Luna giving him advice to learn how to control Fiendfyre and normal fire

- Him spending the last half of the school year doing exactly that

- Dumbledore still taking him to the cave for the locket

- Harry freaking out at the dead bodies in the water

- Dumbledore drinking the potion and the inferni soon attacking

- Harry immediately burning them all with a crazed look in his eyes

- "You're not coming any closer. Stay the hell away from me!"

- Dumbledore managing to get them out of there

- Snape still killing Dumbledore 

- Harry just sitting on the steps of the Astromony tower during the last bits of the battle as Snape and Draco flee

- Hermione eventually finding him there

- "Harry? Are you okay?"

- "Mione? Where's my uncle?"

- "Your uncle?" 

- "I beat the undead. My uncle was somewhere around here. Did you find him?"

- Hermione realising that Harry is going through flashbacks to when his uncle died

- Her biting back tears as she nods

- "Yeah, we found him. He's in a bit of a bad shape, but he's safe."

- Her taking him to the hospital wing under the guise of his uncle and mother waiting for him

- Madame Pomfrey using a sleeping potion to gently knock him out

- Harry waking up the next day and sharing a look with a waiting Hermione 

- Him finally breaking down in tears and his girlfriend trying to comfort him

- The news of Snape killing Dumbledore going around a bit later here

- Hermione deciding to go back to Harry's home with him this summer after Dumbledore's funeral

- 'He clearly needs me and I'm not going to fail him.'

- Writing a letter laced with spells to her parents telling them she was going to stay with Harry for the summer

- The letter giving them the urge to move to Australia

- Hermione not being the only one leaving her home as Daphne joins them as well

-Draco had sent her a secret letter, telling her to get out of England for her own safety

- Her family having promised they'd be fine

- "No better place than wherever you live."

- Harry holding onto both girls as he leaves the train and the three of them disappearing 

- The boy immediately getting tackled into a hug by his mother

- "Harry! There you are! And who are they?" 

- Harry introducing the girls to the members of his family still alive.

- The both of them paling at meeting his two remaining brothers

- Daphne eventually asking the big question

- "What are we going to do now?" 

- "We're going to make sure a certain Lord dies once and for all."

- "We're with you, Harry. No matter what.

- Harry's mother having only agreed to let them go back on the condition that he'd go with them

- Harry finding Regulus's room and recognising the initials from the fake locket

- Them getting the true story about Regulus from an emotional Kreacher

- Sirius realising his little brother had tried to do good at the end

- Kreacher getting a front row seat to the destruction of the locket with the basilisk fang

- No need to go to the ministry and them being safe for a lot longer

- Them still using the Fidelius spell with Sirius actually being the Secret-Keeper this time

- This turning out to be a good thing with Death Eaters arriving after Harry said Voldemort's name

- Sirius explaining about the spell that was put over the name 

- "Then let's call him Tom for now. That's his true name."

- Everyone immediately agreeing with that

- Sirius going on a risky trip to Gringotts and coming back with Hufflepuff's cup

- "How did you manage that? 

- "I'm the final male in the Black family. I asked the goblins to bring any dark objects in the family vaults to me"

- "Amazing work, Sirius. 

-  "Thanks, pup."

- Two horcruxes getting destroyed in rapid order

- Harry still getting visions from what Voldemort's doing

- Him deciding to use his this and showing Voldemort visions of what he had faced last summer

- Voldemort being actually disturbed 

- Harry realising that maybe this connection was more than it seemed, but keeping quiet

- Them getting a call for help from Luna in November 

- Taking her and her father in after Sirius travelled to Hogsmeade in disguise and taking Luna

- Luna explaining she received a vision of her getting kidnapped

- "Considering what she said about mum, I'm glad we took her in." 

- "Wait, what's that about your mum?"

- "Luna received a vision of mum burning down the city we now live in if I meant been there."

- "Bloody hell!" 

- Yeah and if I hadn't been there, then mum would've lost my second brother as well."

- "What do you mean?"

- Someone tried to shoot Rhae down last summer. I managed to make him avoid it."

- "And your aunt as you saved her from getting hanged."

- "Yes, thank you for the grim reminder, Sirius." 

- Harry, Sirius and the girls learning about the Deathly Hallows from Xeno

- Harry and the others realising Voldemort is after the Elder Wand

- Voldemort eventually finding out that Harry and the others are after his horcruxes

- Harry finding out about Ravenclaw's diadem through his panic

- Daphne remembering seeing such a diadem in the Room of Requirements when trying to help Draco

- Them still breaking into Hogwarts thanks to Aberforth and the remaining Order arriving soon after

- Daphne, Luna and Harry sneaking into Ravenclaw Tower to see the statue of Rowena Ravenclaw 

- Daphne confirming that it's the diadem she saw, but them hearing Alecto trying to get in the tower

- Harry having absolutely no trouble killing the man when he spits in Minerva's face

- Snape still fleeing Hogwarts after fighting the other Heads

- The final battle still happening

- Sirius and Remus fighting side-by-side 

- Heard the rumour you became a dad, Moony."

- "Indeed. Never thought it would happen to me before you." 

- Sirius managing to save Remus from Dolochov, by changing into Padfoot and ripping the man's throat out

- Bellatrix fighting Tonks, only to get a killing curse in the back from Daphne

- Draco and Harry still facing each other in the Room of Requirements, albeit more reluctantly 

- Harry managing to save all his friends (including Draco) from the Fiendfyre and the diadem getting destroyed in the process

- Him sensing the explosion before it happened thanks to being in battle before and putting up a shield

- Saving Fred's life like that

- Voldemort ordering the short respite and telling Harry to come to him

- Harry finding out that Voldemort is in the Shrieking Shack 

- "That's my spot. He's in my spot."

- Snape still getting killed

- Harry watching the man's memories and finding out about him being a horcrux

- "Well, that explains a lot."

- Harry going to his death as he knows that the world won't be safe as long as Voldemort is alive

- His last thought being a solemn "sorry mum." as the killing curse comes his way 

- Harry's mother suddenly collapsing in her world just a a second later

- Your Majesty! What's wrong?

- "We need to go to Harry's world! Now! I don't care how we have to do utter"

- Her running out of the room to get her other sons with advisors running after her

- Harry meeting Dumbledore again in the in-between world and getting the full story

- Him not even thinking twice about his choice after what Luna told him

- Narcissa Malfoy still lying straight to Voldemort's face

- Harry getting carried to Hogwarts by Hagrid

- Draco reluctantly joining the other side to stand with his parents 

- Harry playing dead in Hagrid's arms until he hears a familiar roar

- The eyes of Daphne, Hermione and Sirius widening as well

- "Oh, shit."

- "How did she get here?"

- "Does it matter? We need to get everyone back into the castle before they get fried."

- Harry jumping out of Hagrid's arms, immediately telling people to get into the castle as well

- Daphne, Hermione and Sirius helping people get back in

- "Draco, get your parents and get out of here! Now!" 

- Draco knowing Harry well enough he wouldn't say that without good reason and doing exactly that

- "Harry! Yer alive?!"

- "Yes, but you need to get to the castle now, Hagrid."

- "On it." 

- The ground shaking underneath Hagrid's rushing footsteps

- Voldemort about to kill him when the ground shakes even harder and loud growls are heard

- Him slowly looking up with his Death Eaters to see Harry's two remaining brothers glaring at them

- Harry taking the time to make sure everyone is in the school while they're distracted

- Everyone staring at the two dragons in utter shock

- Harry apparating on his oldest brother's back behind his mother

- "The pale and bald one's him, mum. Those in the castle are innocent."

- "Understood, Harry. Now hold on." 

- Nagini getting destroyed and Voldemort's reign being ended with one word.

- "Dracarys!"

Here we go. Some of you had already figured it out, but here is the final confirmation. Harry's mysterious mother is none other than Daenerys Targaryen

As I said in the beginning, this Dany is older than in the books and show and she never burned down King's landing. The uncle they left behind was Daario and the one that died was Jorah. I don't think I have to explain the brothers

Chapter 8: After the war

- Voldemort and Nagini as well as many Death eaters being reduced to ashes

-Drogon eating the head of the remaining giant when it tries to attack them

- Those death Eaters who managed to survive immediately surrendering after that

- Everyone too busy staring at Harry and Daenerys as they get off Drogon's back to cheer

- The Queen immediately checking Harry over like any mother would

- "Mum, I'm fine. I promise." 

- "Then why did I suddenly feel you died? I was so worried!" 

- "That's a long story. Can I first check if everyone is okay?" 

- "Oh, of course." 

- Many people, both student and teacher alike demanding answers

- Drogon and Rheagal roaring at seeing them crowding around their brother and all of them backing off

- "Everyone, meet my mother: Daenerys Targaryen, Queen of the Andals and the first men as well as Mother of Dragons."

- "Those are not all my titles, Harry."

- "They have just come out of a battle, mum. Give them a break."

- People then finally starting to realise the war is over and starting to cheer

- A rather proud Daenerys watching from a distance as everyone thanked and congratulated her son

- Her having to stop her older two sons from attacking the good guys

- A very anxious Draco eventually coming back to see how everything is

- Him immediately staring at the dragons as well

-  "Draco! Come meet my mother and brothers!

- "Harry, those are dragons."

- "I know. Why do you think I always loved dragons?"

- Draco meeting Daenerys and finally understanding why Harry asked if they were related

- Hermione eventually finding her way to Harry's side and staying there. 

- Daenerys and her two dragon sons eventually returning to Westeros through magic once she knows Harry will be fine

- Harry staying a bit longer than usual to help start repairs

- Him gathering his friends after a few months and telling him that he was going home and wouldn't be able visit often

- "No offence to any of you, but I don't think I can go back-and-forth that much anymore. The trip always takes so much of my energy."

- Luna being the first one to accept it as she notes he's also a Crown Prince now and has his duties

- Everyone slowly and reluctantly agreeing as well as they realise they couldn't stop him

- "You better visit when you can though. You can't just save a world and then leave it."

- "I will miss you too, Draco." 

- Hermione going with Harry as with her parents being in Australia, there wasn't much to keep her

- Even Pansy being rather emotional when saying goodbye to Harry

- Harry thanking them for everything, before he, Hermione and Sirius disappear

- The Wizarding world being in an uproar when they realise Harry's gone

- Draco and the others being hounded for answers about his location

- All of them giving the same standard answer

- "He's back home."

- Pansy eventually marrying Theo while Draco marries Daphne and Luna marries Neville

- Harry immediately getting tutored properly in things that a Crown Prince should know

- Sirius being the head of his personal guard

- Him taking this duty extremely.... well... seriously 

- Hermione and Harry continuing their relationship despite his new duties

- Many noble lords not being happy with this as they'd prefer one of their daughters becoming the future Queen

- Daenerys shutting them all down by giving Hermione a title in gratitude for her help in keeping her son safe

- Hermione getting tutored for her future role as Princess and Queen consort as well

- "Hey, mum. Can we just agree we will not let our descendants marry each other's siblings?"

- "Of course, Harry. We will make sure that won't happen

- The uncle Harry talked about having been left behind, Daario, coming by not long after

- He and Daenerys eventually entering an at first mostly political, but later loving marriage

- Daenerys making a declaration that Harry would remain her heir

- Her telling Harry that he has nothing to worry about anyway as she's barren 

- Harry and Hermione eventually marrying as well in a great feast

- The younger couple visiting earth as much as they can in secret

- Hermione giving birth to a son two years after their wedding, officially securing their line

- Daenerys being a very proud grandmother 

- The boy getting the name Jorah

- Their friends on earth getting to meet him as well as his siblings later on

- The lords eventually being appeased with this

 -Hermione and Harry have one more son and two daughters after Jorah

- Daenerys ruling over Westeros strictly, but fairly with her husband and son being her closest advisors

- Harry smiling one day as he was surrounded by almost his entire family

- He and his family and friends were safe and happy and that was all that was important 

- All was well
