This kingdom is very beautiful and it is represented by Lotus because there are lots of lotus lake. Mostly everyone wears purple robes. All people are happy and it's a very peaceful kingdom. It stays away from war but it only has one enemy and it is Wen Kingdom.

Varieties of perfumes, jewelery and crops are exported to other kingdoms.

There is a war going on in the battlefield. This war is going on between the Wen Kingdom's troops and the Yunmeng Kingdom's troops.

Wen Xu is leading the war. He wants to acquire the Yunmeng Kingdom. He has made a strong troop and entered into the war with full planning of defeating war General Yiling Patriarch and his co-warrior Xu Yang. But Xue Yang isn't there.

Yiling Patriarch is riding on a horse and he is killing his opponent fiercely. His face is covered with the mask. Yiling Patriarch's defense skills and killing skills are great. He doesn't show mercy on his opponents. When he feels that the opponent is top week and ready to admit defeat then he let him go otherwise he doesn't leave the trace of any enemy.

There's good quality of Yiling Patriarch that he supports his troops in battlefield. He never let them to lose hope and end the war with tide over.

Wen Xu and Yiling Patriarch come in front of each other. They both are in horses and holding swords in their hands. Those swords look thirty for the opponent's blood. Wen Xu and Yiling Patriarch commands their horses and the moves towards each other.

Yiling Patriarch jumps out of the horse and he unbalanced Wen Xu's horse due to which Wen Xu falls on ground. Yiling Patriarch smirks behind his mask. Now they both are ground.

Wen soldiers are trying to attack on Yiling Patriarch but Jiang soldiers are protecting Yiling Patriarch. Wen Xu and Yiling Patriarch are in a sphere. They bith runs towards each other and starts attacking.

Yiling Patriarch dodged all Wen Xu's moves and he attacks on his arm due to which Wen Xu's one arm falls on floor. He lost his arm.

Wen Xu cries while holding his bleeding shoulder. He lost one arm. Yiling Patriarch stands in front of Wen Xu and attacks on Wen Xu's neck with his suibian. Wen Xu's head got separated from his body and it falls away.

The war stops there. When soldiers knelt down. Wen Xu is killed. His arm and head are cut off from his body. Everyone starts praising Yiling Patriarch.

"Keep quiet!", Yiling Patriarch says.

Everyone gets quiet.

"Take his dead body to your king and don't forget to show his head and arm. If Wen Ruohan will keep his disgusting eyes on Yunmeng then then I will cut him like his son Wen Xu. Tell your so called king that if he wants to live a long life than stop attacking on Yunmeng. We will not kneel down.", Yiling Patriarch says in his dominant voice.

All the enemy troops start shivering. Yiling Patriarch and his troops leave the battlefield.

Yiling Patriarch and troop behind him are returning to the place Lotus Pier. Everyone are praising Yiling Patriarch and all the soldiers who have successfully defeated the Wen soldiers.

Yiling Patriarch has a proud smile on his face. He is still wearing mask. He doesn't show his face whenever he lives in the form of Yiling Patriarch.

The citizens feel greatful to have war general like Yiling Patriarch. Yiling Patriarch always supported the family of troops. If any soldier died and got injured in the battlefield then Yiling Patriarch himself gives them and their family members economic support and other job opportunities so the family don't suffer longer.

Today there's hustle and bustle in the palace because someone special is coming in Yunmeng for the first time.

Jiang Fengmian, Madam Yu and Jiang Cheng are so stressed sitting in the hall. Their faces are pale and their hands are wet. Even Jiang Fengmian himself is a bit afraid.

"Where's prince Jin Zixuan?", Madam Yu asks.

"Mother! He is near lotus pond with Jie Jie.", Jiang Cheng says.

"He is going to arrive here anytime. Why didn't he inform us a day before?", Jiang Cheng asks.

Jiang Fengmian takes a deep breath. He looks at Jiang Cheng.

"Tell Yanli to take Jin Zixuan to the market. Jin Zixuan shouldn't be here otherwise it can create trouble for us.", Jiang Fengmian says.

"Okay father.", Jiang Cheng replies.

Jiang Cheng comes out of the hall and he walks towards the lotus pond.

Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan are sitting together near lotus pond. They both love each other. They have attended many conference and assembly in which the king, prince and princes organize meetings. They have met each other earlier in such kind of meetings that's why they know each other. Feelings develop in their heart for each other and now they both are in love with each other from head to toe.

Jin Zixuan sometimes arrives Yunmeng to meet specially Jiang Yanli without letting anyone know. Only Jin family knows that Jin Zixuan loves Jiang Yanli. Other then them in Lanling no one knows about Jin Zixuan and Jiang Yanli's love affair. He always comes in simple dress to meet Jiang Yanli.

Jin family doesn't want to let anyone to know too soon because Jin Zixuan is still a prince. If he will tell directly to everyone that he loves Jiang Yanli than ministers in his palace can be danger for Jiang Yanli because they themselves want their daughter to marry Jin Zixuan. Jin Zixuan is so clever that's why he has kept the relationship secret.

The other reason Jin Zixuan has kept the relationship secret because his enemy kingdom can hurt and attack on Yunmeng after knowing that Jiang Yanli is soon to be wife of Jin Zixuan.

Jiang family understands this thing very well that's why they have also kept their daughter's relationship secret. They don't want to invite trouble before Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan's wedding. Jiang family wants peace with everyone because they know that war only creates destruction and loss of innocent lives.

Right now Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan are near lotus pond. Jin Zixuan's hand is on Jiang Yanli's hand. Jin Zixuan plucks a lotus flower and gives it to Jiang Yanli. Jiang Yanli takes the flower. There's blush and shyness on her face.

Jin Ling is Jin Zixuan's younger brother. Jin Zixuan has step brother - sister too.
Jin Zixuan is soon to be King of Lanling.

They both are silently sitting on the edge of lotus pond. There's chirruping sounds of birds. The cozy window is touching their body. There's peace on this silence but then Jiang Cheng appears there.

"Jie Jie!", Jiang Cheng says. He is breathing heavily.

Jin Zixuan feels irritation because he rarely gets chance to meet Jiang Yanli but here comes someone to spoil their romantic moment. Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan look at each other and then they turn their eyes to Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng

"A-Cheng! Are you alright? What happened? Why are you tense?", Jiang Yanli asks worriedly.

"Jie Jie! I am sorry because I have interrupted both of you but it was necessary. Actually emperor of Gusu is arriving here. He will come here in some time. And it will not be good for Jin Zixuan to stay here.", Jiang Cheng says.

"Hanguang-Jun is arriving Yunmeng! Why?", Jin Zixuan asks and he grits his teeth.

"Today at morning we got his letter. We also don't know why he is coming here. If he will see you here then it can create a mess. Lanling Kingdom is enemy of Gusu Kingdom. Hanguang-Jun doesn't know anything that you are soon to be husband of my jie jie!", Jiang Cheng says.

"So what! Let him come here. I will see him. I am not afraid of him.", Jin Zixuan says. He has ego.

Jiang Yanli tightly holds Jin Zixuan's hand as she wants to calm him. Jin Zixuan looks at Jiang Yanli.

"Let's go out of the palace. I will show you the market. We haven't gone market together since a long time.", Jiang Yanli says.

"Princess! Are you afraid of Hanguang-Jun that he will hurt me?", Jin Zixuan asks.

Jiang Yanli looks into Jin Zixuan's eyes. Jin Zixuan melts in her eyes and he holds her hand carefully.

"Please!", Jiang Yanli says.

"Okay!", Jin Zixuan replies.

Jin Zixuan always gets weak in front of Jiang Yanli. Jiang Yanli also doesn't want Hanguang-Jun to see Jin Zixuan that's why she wants to take Jin Zixuan to the market with herself.

Jiang siblings get relief when Jin Zixuan agrees to go to the market. Jin Zixuan has arrived Yunmeng without proper security that's why he can get in danger. Everyone knows how heartless emperor Hanguang-Jun is!

Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan take permission from Jiang Fengmian and they leave for market. There's security around Jiang Yanli because she is princess.

All the servants have done preparation of Hanguang-Jun's arrival. They have decorated the entrance and decorated the hall and garden.

Yiling Patriarch along with his troop comes outside the palace. The troop goes to their quarters. Yiling Patriarch comes inside the palace with his horse.

All the people gets happy to see Yiling Patriarch. Xue Yang and Jiang Fengmian come to him and they smile.

"Wei Wuxian! I am proud of you my son!", Jiang Fengmian says and his chest gets more border due to proud.

Wei Wuxian comes down from the horse. He greets Jiang Fengmian. Jiang Fengmian pats Wei Wuxian's head.

"I heard that you cut off Wen Xu's head and arm from his body! It was great punishment for Wens.", Xue Yang says.

"Hmm! If they will again keep their disgusting eyes on Yunmeng then I will do the same thing with them which I have done to Wen Xu.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Wei Wuxian! Go and get ready! Today Hanguang-Jun is arriving here.", Jiang Fengmian says.

"Hanguang-Jun!", Wei Wuxian says shockingly.

"Yes. As you can see that there's less people are here for celebration of victory because everyone is busy in preparation of the arrival of Hanguang-Jun! We will celebrate the victory tomorrow. I promise but today we have to present well in front of Hanguang-Jun. We don't have too much time.", Jiang Fengmian says.

Wei Wuxian is smiling. He nods his head. Wei Wuxian takes out his mask. He takes deep breath.

"Why do you always wear mask?", Xue Yang asks

"As you know I like to visit everywhere. If Wens find me without any weapon or protection then they won't think before to attack on me. That's why I am Yiling Patriarch in battlefield and Wei Wuxian in family.", Wei Wuxian says with a smile.

Wei Wuxian thinks something and he gets a naughty idea. He curiously looks at Jiang Fengmian.

"Uncle! Please don't tell Jiang Cheng that we got victory in the war. I want to tell him myself.", Wei Wuxian says.

"As you wish my son.", Jiang Fengmian replies.

Wei Wuxian goes to the hall. He is amazed that why Hanguang-Jun is arriving Yunmeng. It's the first time when he is arriving Yunmeng but he didn't give any information two three days ago about his arrival otherwise Jiang family could do more preparation.

Wei Wuxian goes into his room. His room is so big and luxurious. He goes in his bathroom. He removes all his clothes and walks towards the bathtub.

Wei Wuxian has a strong body. There's some cuts on his body and some old scars too. Right now the body is sweaty and smell of sweat is coming.

Wei Wuxian sits inside the bathtub and takes bath. He cleans his body thoroughly and comes out of the bathroom in a silk robe.

Wei Wuxian opens the wardrobe and looks at a dress. He smirks.

"Shijie! I am sorry but I am going to wear your dress. I want to tease Jiang Cheng a bit.", Wei Wuxian says.

Wei Wuxian's takes out Jiang Yanli's robes. He has an ability to transform his body into other gender.

The capability of body transformation in other's body was discovered by Baoshan Sanren. It spiritually goes to Cangse Sanren and then it goes to Wei Wuxian. Today Wei Wuxian has the ability to change body shape and gander. All credit goes to Baoshan Sanren.

Wei Wuxian has only used his specialty three times. When he was a kid then he transformed his body to Jiang Cheng's body to tease him.

Third time Wei Wuxian transformed his body to Jiang Yanli's body again to tease Jiang Cheng. But at that time he didn't change the gender. He was male inside but he only makes himself small to look like Jiang Yanli and changes his facial features. Jiang Cheng got confused and he thought the person with whom he is talking is Jiang Yanli.

Only Jiang Fengmian, Madam Yu and Jiang Cheng knows about Wei Wuxian's specialty.

Wei Wuxian has never used his expertise for negative purposes. He has never harmed anyone. He even can't hide any scar and wounds on his body due to his specialty of transformation.

Right now Wei Wuxian makes his body to the size of Jiang Yanli's body size. He doesn't change his gender. He is male from his lower and upper part.

After that Wei Wuxian immediately wear Jiang Yanli's clothes and then ties his hair simply. Wei Wuxian looks at himself in the mirror. He transforms the face into Jiang Yanli's face.

Wei Wuxian's eyes fall on his chest which is flat. He grabs two oranges from the basket and puts it inside his clothes. Now his chest isn't flat anymore. It looks like breast.

It's fourth time when Wei Wuxian has transformed his body to others body but he doesn't change his gender. Instead he has used oranges to create breast. He can change gender too but he doesn't find it respectable.

Wei Wuxian grins and he comes out of the room. He starts searching Jiang Cheng. Finally he found that Jiang Cheng was scolding some servants.

Wei Wuxian suddenly appears in front of Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng gets surprised to see Jiang Yanli. Wei Wuxian starts crying.

"Jie jie! You here!", Jiang Cheng asks. He knows that Jiang Yanli isn't in the palace.

"A-Cheng... Our Wuxian... My A-Xian... H..he", Wei Wuxian says ans he starts sobbing.

"What happened to him? Why are you crying Jie jie?", Jiang Cheng asks.

"He died in the war....", Wei Wuxian says ans he pretends that he is fainting.

Jiang Cheng held Wei Wuxian's hand and made him sit on the mattress. Jiang Cheng wipes Wei Wuxian's tears. Still he doesn't know the person in front of him is Wei Wuxian not Jiang Yanli. But Jiang Cheng gets a shock to hear about Wei Wuxian's death. His hands are trembling. He doesn't want to believe in it because everyone knows including him that how brave Wei Wuxian is. Wei Wuxian is a good fighter.

"Jie jie! How did you know? You were in market!”, Jiang Cheng asks.

Wei Wuxian gets stiff and he looks at Jiang Cheng with die like big eyes. Jiang Cheng also looks at Wei Wuxian. Jiang Cheng narrows his eyes. Wei Wuxian again starts pretending to cry.

"Ooh..!ye.s. I was in the market with my friends... I heard that few people were talking about A-Xian's death that's why I hurriedly arrives here!", Wei Wuxian says.

Jiang Cheng crossed both his arms. Now he is staring at Wei Wuxian.

"Jie jie! How many friends were with you?", Jiang Cheng asks.

Wei Wuxian gets stiff because of the question. He shows his three fingers which are trembling. Jiang Cheng grabs Wei Wuxian's three fingers inside his fist.

"Wei Wuxian!", Jiang Cheng yells.

"Jiang Cheng... Let me explain... But how did you know I am Wei Wuxian?", Wei Wuxian asks and he gets afraid.

"Jie Jie is in market with Jin Zixuan!", Jiang Cheng says.

Wei Wuxian keeps quiet. His lips tightly closed. He smiles forcefully and gets up from the floor. Wei Wuxian starts running. Jiang Cheng runs behind Wei Wuxian.

Jiang Cheng isn't offended by Wei Wuxian's behavior. Today Hanguang-Jun is arriving and everyone is tense. In this serious moment Wei Wuxian tried to prank on him. Jiang Cheng is irritated.

From the main gate of palace Hanguang-Jun arrives inside the Lotus Pier. Along with him some ministers, Lan Sizhui and army arrive in Lotus Pier.

Lan Wangji and Lan Sizhui are riding on the horses. They are in front. All the other guests are behind them.

Jiang Fengmian and Madam Yu greet the emperor of Gusu. Lan Wangji and Lan Sizhui come down from their horses.

Jiang Fengmian and Madam Yu welcomes emperor Lan Wangji and prince Lan Sizhui in very well.

"You are welcome in Yunmeng! Hanguang-Jun!", Jiang Fengmian says.

"I always wanted to visit Yunmeng but due to lots of work I never got time. In hurry I had to plan to visit Yunmeng. I think because of my quick letter you all suffered problem.", Lan Wangji says.

"No! We are glad to see you here. He didn't face any problem. By the way we have gone through preparation. Come inside Hanguang-Jun!", Madam Yu says.

"Prince Sizhui! You are also welcome in Yunmeng.", Jiang Fengmian says.

"It's really a beautiful place. When I was coming here then in my way I saw many beautiful place. The lotus lakes are so beautiful. Everywhere there are beautiful flowers and the nature of people is kind too. I like it.", Lan Sizhui says.

Madam Yu and Jiang Fengmian smiles. Hanguang-Jun and Lan Sizhui come into the palace. They all come in the big hall.

There's special seat for Lan Wangji and Lan Sizhui. Other seats are for the ministers who have arrived with Lan Wangji. The guards stands away from the two royal families.

Suddenly someone's laughing sound comes. Everyone's attention goes to that direction. Wei Wuxian is still in Jiang Yanli's form. He is running without looking at Jiang Cheng.

Wei Wuxian accidentally comes into the hall. Madam Yu and Jiang Fengmian gets shock to see Jiang Yanli in palace and in this condition.

Wei Wuxian is still laughing but then he hits with a muscular body.

"Ouch!", Wei Wuxian says but his leg trips and he was about to fall.

Suddenly the person whom he was bumped tightly holds him by his waist. Wei Wuxian looks at the person and he gets shock. The person is none other than Lan Wangji.

Lan Wangji is looking into Wei Wuxian's eyes. Wei Wuxian is also looking at Lan Wangji. Wei Wuxian is afraid but there's something in Lan Wangji's eyes.

Jiang Cheng also comes in the hall and he gets stiff. He has close eyes. He wants to hit his own head on the pillar. He is cursing Wei Wuxian internally. Jiang Cheng puts his hand on mouth and starts biting his fingers.

Everyone thinks that the person in Lan Wangji's arms is Jiang Yanli except Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng.

Still Lan Wangji is looking into Wei Wuxian's eyes. His grips tightens on Wei Wuxian's thin waist without knowing the person is Wei Wuxian not Jiang Yanli. Wei Wuxian is trembling because he is in Jiang Yanli's form and second thing that the person who his grabbing him has dominant aura.

Wei Wuxian is in Lan Wangji's arms and Lan Wangji is continuously looking at him even without blinking his eyes. Wei Wuxian lightly pushes away him and immediately goes to Jiang Cheng.

There's silence in the hall. Madam Yu and Jiang Fengmian looks at Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng. Wei Wuxian lowers his head. He is in Jiang Yanli's form that's why everyone is thinking that he is Jiang Yanli.

"Emperor of Gusu, Hanguang-Jun! These are my kids. Princess Jiang Yanli and prince Jiang Cheng.", Jiang Fengmian says.

Lan Wangji looks at Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian can feel his gaze on himself. He bows his head.

"I am sorry! Sorry everyone.", Wei Wuxian says as he bows.

"Yanli! You can go now.", Madam Yu says. There's anger in her voice which all the family members can understand.

"Hmm!", Wei Wuxian replies.

Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli come out of the hall and they go inside a room. Wei Wuxian takes a relief breath.

"Wei Wuxian!", Jiang Cheng shouts in anger.

"C...Cheng! I'm sorry...", Wei Wuxian immediately apologizes.

"Because of you my sister's image gets ruin in front of emperor Hanguang-Jun! Everyone thinks that it was my Jie Jie! You idiot. Why were you running?", Jiang Cheng asks in anger.

"I am sorry. I will personally ask for forgiveness from Lan Wangji. I will tell him that it wasn't Shijie's fault.", Wei Wuxian says.

"You better do it quickly. Now change your getup and come to the hall.", Jiang Cheng warns Wei Wuxian.

Jiang Cheng leaves the room and goes into hall. Wei Wuxian comes inside his room and changes his clothes. He wears his clothes and walks towards the hall.

All are sitting on their seats. Wei Wuxian enters the hall. He is holding his sword Suibian. His eyes fall on Lan Wangji who is sitting. Lan Wangji's focus is on Jiang Fengmian.

"Wei Wuxian!", Xue Yang says.

Wei Wuxian turns his back to everyone. Everyone looks at his back. Lan Wangji looks at Wei Wuxian's back.

"There's emergency! Come quickly.", Xue Yang says.

"Alright.", Wei Wuxian replies and he leaves the hall.

Madam Yu glares at Wei Wuxian and then she turns towards Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji sees that Wei Wuxian has left the hall without even greeting him. He didn't even see his face.

"He is Wei Wuxian. My third son.", Jiang Fengmian says.

"Adopted son.", Madam Yu says.

"You mean Wei Wuxian is your adopted son.", Lan Wangji asks.

"Yes. His parents died when he was a child. His father was my friend. One day I saw Wei Wuxian was saving his life from dogs. He was holding a bun and running in the street. My eyes fall on him. Then I asked about his parents and he said they both died. I adopted Wei Wuxian. He is my son. He is cheerful, sweet and kind person. Everyone loves him.", Jiang Fengmian says with a smile. He is so happy by telling everything about Wei Wuxian.

Madam Yu coughs. Jiang Fengmian stops talking about Wei Wuxian. Then he tells Lan Wangji about Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli.

They all talk. A maid serves wine to all the members.

On other side Wei Wuxian gets busy in some work with Xue Yang. It's important and Wei Wuxian can't leave it.

Lan Wangji finished two cups of wine. He looks at Lan Sizhui. Lan Sizhui gets up and he takes out a scroll from his robes. He comes to Jiang Fengmian and gives it to him.

Jiang Fengmian takes the scroll and opens it.

"You are our neighboring kingdom. I want you to form an alliance with us. The political and social relationship between us should remain good. Qinghe Kingdom is already an alliance with Gusu Kingdom. Now I want Yunmeng to also become our alliance. This will be beneficial for you.", Lan Wangji says.

"Alliance!", Jiang Cheng says shockingly.

Jiang family gets worried. The looks at Lan Wangji. It's difficult for them because Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan have decided to marry. Lanling kingdom is enemy of Gusu Kingdom. Now Jiang family is in trouble. If they will create alliance with Gusu then Lanling will be known as their enemy and Lan Wangji will never want Jiang Yanli to marry in Jin family.

"W..We will think about it.", Jiang Fengmian says.

"If you aren't ready to become our alliance then you will be in category of our enemy. I will conquer Yunmeng and you will under me. This kingdom will become part of Gusu. The name of this kingdom will be lost in history. Now the choice is yours. War or alliance!", Lan Wangji says in his dark voice.

Jiang Cheng gets angry and he gets up from his seat.

"Hanguang-Jun! It's not right. You can't force us to alliance with yourself. We are neutral. History is the proof. Even our ancestors were neutral. We never created alliance and we never had any enemy. I know Wens sometimes attack on us but we never wanted to make any enemy. We can't treat Lanling Kingdom as our enemy kingdom.", Jiang Cheng says.

Lan Wangji gets up and he puts bichen on Jiang Cheng's neck.

"So you are choosing violence.", Lan Wangji says and he smirks.

Jiang Fengmian and Madam Yu get afraid when they see the sword on Jiang Cheng's neck. Jiang Cheng starts trembling.

"D..don't kill my son.", Madam Yu says worriedly and she gets up from her seat.

Lan Sizhui lowers his head. His fist tightens on his robes. He is afraid of some reason. He gets courage and looks at Lan Wangji.

"Brother! Let's give them some time.", Lan Sizhui says.

"Okay. I am ready to give them sometime to mentally prepare themselves. If they will deny our proposal then we will attack on them.", Lan Wangji says.

Lan Sizhui nods his head.

"Gusu is the most powerful country. We have large army. Remember, you are nothing in front of us. Don't even try to cheat on us. I want answer in a positive way. Think now.", Lan Wangji says.

"Hanguang-Jun! We are happy that you want to create alliance with us. But unknowingly we will have more enemies. If there will be more enemies then there will be more war. We have always lived in peace. But the war can cause economic and social problems in our kingdom.", Jiang Fengmian says.

"You don't need to worry about enemies. I will be your alliance so I will save your kingdom. In return you have to give me large amount of army. The Yiling Patriarch will have to always be ready to fight for us. In return I will provide you security.", Lan Wangji says.

Jiang Fengmian thinks. He looks at Madam Yu. Madam Yu is speechless. She also doesn't want. As a queen she can't ignore her citizens. Alliance is better option than war. But Lanling will itself become their enemy. This is the main thing they are afraid of.

Lan Wangji's sword is still on Jiang Cheng's neck. Jiang Cheng is looking at his parents. Jiang Fengmian sits on his seat and dips the brush on black ink.

"Your son's life is in my hand. Prepare mentally yourself and sign there to become our alliance or your son will be dead.", Lan Wangji says while pressing the sharp edge of blade on Jiang Cheng's neck.

Jiang Fengmian's hand trembles and he signs on the paper. Then he put a stamp on the paper. Now Yunmeng is the alliance of Gusu.

"Emperor!", Madam Yu says and she puts her hand on Jiang Fengmian's shoulder.

Lan Wangji's release Jiang Cheng. Lan Sizhui holds the scroll and gives it to Lan Wangji.

"It's the proof that you are our alliance. Now I don't want any betrayal.", Lan Wangji says.

Everyone stays quiet. Then two people arrive in the hall. Lan Wangji and others look at those two people. Yiling Patriarch and Xue Yang have arrived there. Yiling Patriarch is wearing a mask.

Yiling Patriarch and Xue Yang bow to Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji nods his head. Wei Wuxian gets shocked to see sword on Lan Wangji's hand. He sees a little cut on Jiang Cheng's neck. He goes to him.

"What happened here?", Wei Wuxian asks.

"Hanguang-Jun arrived here to give a proposal of alliance to us. He used force and put his sword on my neck. Father has to sign on the scroll.", Jiang Cheng says.

Wei Wuxian turns towards Lan Wangji and he glares at him. Lan Wangji also glares at Wei Wuxian. He looks into his eyes. These are kinda same eyes which he saw some moments ago.

"Yiling Patriarch!", Lan Wangji says.

"Hanguang-Jun! You can't force anyone to be your ally. You have enemies but we don't have none except Wens. How can you force someone? We don't want any enemies because of you.", Wei Wuxian says.

Lan Wangji looks at Jiang Fengmian. Jiang Fengmian is silent. Lan Wangji glares at Wei Wuxian.

"How dare you to talk in the matters of royal discussion? Who are you? You are just a war general Yiling Patriarch! Be in your limits. Don't you have manners? Two royal families are discussing something important and how can a normal person like you interfere in our matters. You are war general then focus on your work.", Lan Wangji says.

Now the atmosphere is getting dense. Wei Wuxian tightens his clench.

"I care about the citizens. I don't want people to die in the war. We want peace with everyone.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Emperor Jiang Fengmian! How can you let a lower position man to take decisions in your court? Teach him some manners. He is war general that doesn't mean that he can interfere in royal matters.", Lan Wangji says.

Madam Yu gets angry. She thinks that Wei Wuxian is interfering in their matters. She is getting more angry on him because Wei Wuxian is arguing with Lan Wangji.

"We....Yiling Patriarch! Get out of the hall!", Madam Yu says in anger.

Wei Wuxian turns towards Madam Yu.

"Empress!", Wei Wuxian says.

"Right now! Go away. You are creating trouble. Hanguang-Jun is right. Focus on your work rather than interfering in royal matters. Your duty is to safeguard us and the citizens. We are here to take major decisions. We have alliance with Hanguang-Jun so nothing can be changed now.", Madam Yu says.

Wei Wuxian feels hurt. He remembers about Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan. Now it's difficult for both of them to marry. If Lan Wangji will know about their relationship then he will tell to cancel the wedding or he will attack on Yunmeng in the punishment of betrayal.

Wei Wuxian looks at everyone and he leaves the hall with Xue Yang. He is so much angry.

At evening Jiang Yanli returns to the palace. Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng tells her everything that how Wei Wuxian changed himself in her and bumped into Lan Wangji.

"Shijie. I'm sorry.", Wei Wuxian says.

"A-Xian! Okay...I will forgive you...but please be careful from the next time.", Jiang Yanli says.

"I am sorry shijie. Because of me you will never feel humiliation. You can give me any punishment. I will never ever take your getup. I will never change myself into anyone.", Wei Wuxian says.

"A-Xian! Okay... Don't worry. I will forgive you.", Jiang Yanli says and she smiles.

Wei Wuxian smiles and takes a relief. He puts his head on Jiang Yanli's lap.

"Jie jie! There's a big problem.", Jiang Cheng says ans he sits with Wei Wuxian and Jiang Yanli.

"What is it? Is it serious?", Jiang Yanli asks.

"Hanguang-Jun has forcefully make us his alliance. We are his alliance that means his enemies are our enemies...and Lanling...It's also Hanguang-Jun's enemy.", Jiang Cheng says.

Jiang Yanli gets worried. She puts her hand on her mouth. She gets emotional.

Jin Zixuan is resting in his room. He can't go outside openly because he has known about the forced alliance. If Lan Wangji will see him then a biggest mess can occur that's why he is inside his room for Jiang family's safety.

After dinner Wei Wuxian meets Jiang Fengmian and Madam Yu in personal. He is so nervous and wants to tell the truth.

"Aunt Yu! Uncle! Please forgive me... I have committed a mistake.", Wei Wuxian says.

"What can we expect from you?", Madam Yu says in harsh tone.

"Wei Wuxian! What happened?", Jiang Fengmian asks.

"I wanted to do a prank with Jiang Cheng so I changed myself in shijie. I did prank and after that Jiang Cheng runs behind me. I mistakenly entered the hall without knowing that Hanguang-Jun is also there and then..", Wei Wuxian says and he stays quiet.

Jiang Fengmian gets shock. He doesn't want to scold Wei Wuxian but he is angry. He calms his anger and looks at Wei Wuxian.

"Wei Wuxian! Please be careful from next time. Yanli is your shijie and don't do any prank by changing yourself in her. What people will think about Yanli. You respect her and you have to save her dignity.", Jiang Fengmian says.

"Emperor! How can you easily forgive him?", Madam Yu shouts and gets up from her seat.

Madam Yu takes out Zidian and walks towards Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian falls on his knees and gets ready to take the punishment.

"Yu! No!", Jiang Fengmian says.

Madam Yu doesn't listen to her husband and she attacks on Wei Wuxian's back with the Zidian. Wei Wuxian tightly closes his eyes and takes all the pain.

Madam Yu comes to her place. Wei Wuxian is in pain. He bows to emperor and empress and then he leaves the room.

Jiang Fengmian is worried about Wei Wuxian.

"No need to care about him. He is ruining our reputation.", Madam Yu says.

Jiang Fengmian and Madam Yu stays quiet for sometime. After that they starts discussing about Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan's relationship. They both don't know how to eliminate this problem. They can't even go against Hanguang-Jun because Gusu is most powerful Kingdom. They don't want to create any enemy.

Wei Wuxian returns to his room. He takes out his robes. There's a mark of Zidian on his back. If normal person will get punished by that weapon then he will be dead in seconds but Wei Wuxian has endured the pain. He has golden core also he is strong that's why he is capable of tolerating this pain.

Wei Wuxian himself tries to apply the medicine on his back. The scar is big and deep. Even some blood is oozing from that wound.

On the other side Lan Wangji is resting in his room. He remembers about the moment when Jiang Yanli falls on his arms. He looks into her eyes. Those bright shiny brown eyes are so addictive. He is more attractive to those eyes rather than any other features in Jiang Yanli.

Another flash comes in Lan Wangji's mind. He remembers about arrogant Yiling Patriarch.

"Yiling Patriarch... No one has dared to talk to me in loud voice. You raised your voice against me. Huh! Now I have power to control Yunmeng... I will make you work according to me to break your ego.", Lan Wangji thinks.

Lan Wangji remembers the brown shiny eyes of Yiling Patriarch which are the same as Jiang Yanli's eyes. Lan Wangji shakes his head and closes his eyes.

The next day Lan Wangji gives gifts to the emperor of Yunmeng. Then he goes to his guest palace. He has prepared himself to go back to Gusu.

Wei Wuxian with some servants arrives in the courtyard of Lan Wangji's guest palace. All the servants are holding gifts in their hands. It is sent by Jiang Fengmian.

"Hanguang-Jun! Emperor of Yunmeng has sent gifts to you. All the servants are in your courtyard.", Lan Wangji's guard informs.

"Hmm! Tell them to come inside.", Lan Wangji replies.

The guard comes into the courtyard. He signs everyone to come inside. Wei Wuxian and all the servants go into the hall. Lan Wangji's back is towards them.

"Hanguang-Jun! Greetings!", Wei Wuxian says ans he bows down.

Lan Wangji turns behind and looks at Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian stands straight and looks at Lan Wangji.

"Hanguang-Jun! The Emperor has sent all these things for you. He hopes that peace will always remain between the two Kingdoms.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Umm! I hope so. I don't like betrayal. We are alliance so it's both of us duty to help each other.", Lan Wangji says.

Wei Wuxian nods his head. He looks at the servants. The servants put all the things in front of Lan Wangji. Many expensive gifts are there. Pearls and gold jewellery are there too.

"Please accept these gifts which is sent by emperor.", Wei Wuxian says.

Lan Wangji nods his head. Wei Wuxian bows in front of Lan Wangji again and he leaves the hall with all his servants.

"Is he the servant?", Lan Wangji asks.

"Maybe! His dress doesn't like servants but I think he is head of the servant.... Empress said that servants will come to us to give us gifts... I think that boy is servant but higher level.", The guard says.

Lan Wangji doesn't reply and he thinks about Wei Wuxian and then he thinks about Jiang Yanli. It's the first time when he is feeling himself attracted towards two people.

Wei Wuxian comes into the courtyard. He clenches his fist.

"I don't like betrayal... Huh! I was so angry when I was heading towards his guest room. What do he think that what he is! Huh! If I had a chance I would insult him. "Hanguang-Jun! How was the journey?", Lan Liling asks. She is the first concubine of Lan Wangji.

"Hanguang-Jun! I missed you in these days. Did you miss me?", Lan Zi Xuan asks.

"Shut up! You are a bitch.", A concubine says to Lan Fang.

"Shhh...stop!", Lan Liling says in frustration.

All the concubines stop arguing. Lan Liling is first concubine that's why she has most power than the other concubines. Her value is more among them.

"Tonight we will ask him for dinner! But everyone has to behave politely.", Lan Liling says.

"I want to meet him in personal.", Lan Zi Xuan says.

Main Mian gets angry. She clenches her fist.

"I will tell my brother to stop giving monthly pocket money to all of you.", Mian Mian says and leaves from there without arguing anymore.

"I will teach her a good lesson! She is a real bitch!", Lan Fang says and clenches her fist.

On the other side Lan Wangji comes into his palace Jingshi. He takes a long bath. He rests inside the bathtub for a long time. He thinks about two people.

Lan Wangji wears his royal robes and comes into his room. A servant informs him that Madam Lan and Lan Liling have arrived his palace. Lan Wangji takes a sigh and he comes into the guest room.

Lan Liling and Madam Lan are sitting there. Lan Wangji greets his mother and he sits with her. A servant serves tea to everyone.

"Wangji! How was the journey? What did you explore in Yunmeng?", Madam Lan asks.

"It was good! Yunmeng is such a special place. It is our neighboring country that's why I wanted to make it out alliance. My work has done. But..", Lan Wangji says and he stops.

Lan Wangji takes a sip of tea.

"But what?", Madam Lan asks.

"They weren't agree first. I had to use force.", Lan Wangji says.

Madam Lan nods her head. It's common for them to force other kingdoms to kneel down in front of them.

Lan Liling looks at Madam Lan and smiles. Madam Yu smiles and nods her head.

"Why did you ignore Liling? She is your first concubine. You should give more priority to her than anyone else.", Madam Lan says.

Lan Wangji glares at Lan Liling but she gives a wink to Lan Wangji.

"Lan Zhan! Are you listening?", Madam Lan asks.

"Wangji! You are emperor and its time to chose an empress for this kingdom. It's up to you whom you chose. And when you are going to give us good news. I think Liling is good! You should give her a chance. She is better than all other concubines. She is intelligent and smart. She can be an empress.", Madam Lan says.

Lan Wangji puts the cup on the table. He doesn't look at Lan Liling. Lan Liling is blushing. She starts imagining herself in the position of empress.

"Mother! I have found someone.", Lan Wangji says.

Madam Lan gets shock. She smiles and looks curiously at her son. Lan Liling chokes the tea and wipes her lips. She looks at the emperor.

"Who?", Madam Lan asks.

Lan Wangji gets up from his seat. He goes to a window and closes his eyes. Wei Wuxian's face comes in his mind and then he remembers Jiang Yanli's (Wei Wuxian's) eyes.

Lan Wangji only interacted with Wei Wuxian three times. At first time he interacted with him when he was in Jiang Yanli's form, second time when he was in Yiling Patriarch's dress and third time when he arrives his guest palace.

Lan Wangji didn't interact with Jiang Yanli.

"She is a princess.", Lan Wangji says.

Madam Lan gets up from her seat and stands behind Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji turns to his mother and looks into her eyes. He smiles.

"I can't choose that servant... He is man and he is servant! Yanli! She is something which I want. She is unique. I want her. She can give birth to hier... If she will reject me then I will make her concubine...she has to understand that I am only one for her...", Lan Wangji thinks.

"Who is she? Yunmeng's princess? Jiang Yanli?", Madam Lan asks.

Lan Wangji turns towards his mother and nods his head. Madam Lan gets shock. A big smile appears in her face. Finally her son has taken interest in someone. Madam Lan pats her son's shoulder.

"Really?", Madam Lan asks.

"Yes mother! I like Jiang Yanli. I want to make her empress.", Lan Wangji says.

Madam Lan is smiling but then her smile drops and she thinks.

"Is she pure by heart...I mean do she like someone else? What if she will reject you... I am sorry I shouldn't talk like this but this conversation is also necessary...", Madam Lan says.

Lan Wangji clenches his fist and looks at his mother intensely.

"If she will reject me then I will make her my concubine. When she will realize that being empress is better than concubine then I will give her that post.", Lan Wangji says.

Lan Liling has been looking at both mother and son since a long time. She gets angry when Lan Wangji mentioned about Jiang Yanli. She gets a shock that the emperor wants to marry her.

"Emperor! Excuse me.", Lan Liling says.

Lan Wangji looks at his first concubine. He raised his eyebrows.

"What if Jiang Yanli has already in physical contact with someone else! You need to check her... I think she won't be your type... I heard that the princess of Yunmeng is so fragile. She can't even take decisions properly.", Lan Liling says.

Lan Liling is afraid that she won't be able to become empress. She looks at the emperor.

Lan Liling gets stunned! She grabs Lan Wangji's hand and comes closer to him. Lan Wangji glares at Lan Liling.

"Keep in distance! How many time I have told you not to come close to me! If you will touch me again I will surely imprison you inside your room and took all the freedom which you have. Be in limits otherwise...", Lan Wangji says as he stops. He has threatened his first concubine.

Lan Liling gets scared. She knows the consequences of making Lan Wangji angry. She keeps distance.

"I'm sorry Hanguang-Jun. Forgive me please.", Lan Liling says.

"Don't come in my palace again. If I have to meet you then I will meet you outside but never ever again come in my palace without my permission.", Lan Wangji says and he grits his teeth.

Madam Lan stays quiet and she looks at Lan Liling. Lan Liling looks at Madam Lan with wet eyes.

Madam Lan and Lan Liling comes out of Lan Wangji's palace. Lan Liling starts crying silently. She is wiping her tears. She sits on a chair and puts both her hands on her face.

"Stop crying. Wangji is always like this. It's not new. Go to your quarter safely.", Madam Lan says.

"Madam Lan! What's problem in me? Hanguang-Jun never spent a day with me. He never came to my room and he never invited me in his room. There isn't any physical bonding in us. ", Lan Liling says.

"It's not only you. He treats all of you equally. It's his personal reason that he hasn't spent nights with you all.", Madam Lan says and she caresses Lan Liling's head.

On the other side Lan Wangji comes out of his palace. He walks towards his elder brother Lan Xichen's house Hanshi.

Lan Wangji enters Hanshi. A maid is working there. She looks at Lan Wangji and she greets him.

"Where's brother?", Lan Wangji asks.

"In courtyard.", the maid replies.

Lan Wangji goes into the courtyard. Lan Xichen is sitting on his wooden wheelchair. He is reading a book. The atmosphere of Hanshi is very calm. Birds are on a beautiful cherry tree. Lan Xichen is sitting under the tree on his wheelchair. His focus is on his book. It seems like interesting.

"Ge.", Lan Wangji says.

Lan Xichen looks at Lan Wangji. A smile appears on his face. Lan Wangji goes to be brother and he greets him.

"Wangji! How was your journey to Yunmeng?", Lan Xichen asks with smile.

"It was good. Leave it now... Tell me how is your health? Did you eat well? Did you take medicine?", Lan Wangji asks.

"I am as it is Wangji.", Lan Xichen says ans his face becomes gloomy.

Lan Xichen looks at his legs which aren't working. Earlier he was fine. When he was sixteen years old then he climbed on a tall tree. He was so careless and he falls on the ground. Both his legs got injured. Since then Lan family hired many doctors to check Lan Xichen but nothing happened. His legs never recovered. Lan Xichen didn't want to face anyone that's why he always lived in Hanshi. He rarely comes out when there's any occasion. His family members meet him time to time. Lan Xichen's health also starts affecting. He was in depression and didn't take proper diet.

Lan Wangji comes near his brother. He takes out something from his robes. Lan Xichen looks at it.

"It's for you. I brought it from Yunmeng.", Lan Wangji says.

Lan Xichen's smile again appears on his face. There's a jade bracelet on Lan Wangji's hand. He held his brother's hand and put the bracelet on his wrist.

"Thank you.", Lan Xichen says.

Lan Wangji smiles. He sits with his brother and talks to him. He tells everything which he finds in Yunmeng.

On the other side Lan Liling meets all concubines. She sits with them and tells them everything.

"Really? That bitch has impressed our Hanguang-Jun!", Lan Fang asks.

"Let her come here! We will make her life miserable! She can't take my position.", Lan Zi Xuan asks.

Liling, Fang and Zi Xuan are the first three concubines of Lan Wangji. They all show dominance over other concubines. They are boss.

All concubines have their own maids who work for them. They get monthly pocket money. Everything is provided to them. But Liling, Fang and Zi Xuan snatches away when they sees any attractive thing to other concubines..

This time also all seven concubines are sitting quietly. Liling, Fang and Zi Xuan are discussing about Lan Wangji and Jiang Yanli.

Lan Wangji is in Jingshi and he is sitting in his room. There's a table in front of him and he is holding a brush. He dips the brush in the ink and moves it on a scroll.

Lan Wangji is writing a wedding proposal letter to Jiang Yanli. He writes it in the scroll. Then he puts an imperial stem on it.

Lan Wangji soon tells a person to send the scroll to Yunmeng. He looks at the sky and remembers something. He comes out of Jingshi and meets Zhu Yan.

"Yan! I want to meet Bingyi.", Lan Wangji says in a cold voice.

"Okay your highness.", Zhu Yan replies and he bows.

Zhu Yan and Lan Wangji go towards the prison. This prison is so big. Lan Bingyi is imprisoned in the last row. There is no chance for him to escape.

Lan Wangji and Zhu Yan stand in front of Lan Bingyi's prion. There's a wooden door that's why no one can see him inside. Zhu Yan looks down. He is feeling suffocation.

"Zhu Yan!", Lan Wangji says in a harsh voice.

Zhu Yan gets stiff and he stands straight and looks at the door.

"Open the door.", Lan Wangji orders him.

Zhu Yan opens the door. Lan Bingyi is tied up with chains. He is sitting at a corner and his face is hidden in between his knees. Lan Wangji enters the prison. Lan Bingyi uplifts his face and looks at his brother Lan Wangji.

Lan Wangji and Lan Bingyi are staring at each other. Zhu Yan gives look to Lan Bingyi but soon he looks at the other way to avoid eye contact.

"Still you are not going to tell?", Lan Wangji asks.

Lan Bingyi tightly closes his lips and looks other side.

"Who told you to kill me?", Lan Wangji asks.

"I don't like you! I myself wanted to kill you.", Lan Bingyi says.

Lan Wangji grits his teeth and looks at Zhu Yan. Zhu Yan is standing stiff at his place. He looks at Bingyi and then he looks at Lan Wangji.

"He is not going to tell me! Ask him. If he will not tell them inform me.", Lan Wangji says and he comes out of the prison.

Lan Bingyi and Zhu Yan look at each other.

"Why don't you...", Zhu Yan was about to say but Lan Bingyi stops him.

"Shut up! Leave me! Gooo!", Lan Bingyi shouts.

Zhu Yan comes near Lan Bingyi and bends down.

"You know what will happen if you will not tell the name. I know someone is there who manipulated you to kill emperor.", Zhu Yan says.

"No one manipulated me.", Lan Bingyi says.

Zhu Yan closes his eyes and then he looks at Lan Bingyi. He extends his hand towards him but he shrugs off his hand.

After sometime Zhu Yan comes out of the prison and stands in front of Lan Wangji. His head is lowered.

"What happened?", Lan Wangji asks.

"He didn't tell anything.", Zhu Yan says.

Lan Wangji's eyes get cold. He asks a person to beat Lan Bingyi with a hunter. A person goes into the prison and he beats Lan Bingyi with the hunter ten times.

Lan Bingyi's becomes weak. His all over body is hurting. He lies down on the floor but he remains stubborn. He is not ready to speak anything. Zhu Yan is standing outside. Lan Wangji has arrived to assembly hall for his work.

When the person comes out then Zhu Yan goes inside the prison. He sees that Lan Bingyi is lying on the floor. He immediately walks towards him and holds his shoulder but Lan Bingyi pushes him away.

"Stay away!", Lan Bingyi says while gritting his teeth.

"Why don't you tell who told you to attack on emperor. You were never against emperor but who manipulated you? Who's behind everything?", Zhu Yan asks.

Lan Bingyi keeps quiet. Zhu Yan takes out medicine from his robes and gives it on Lan Bingyi's hand.

"I have to go. Apply it on your wounds.", Zhu Yan says.

In Yunmeng

Jiang's gets the wedding proposal scroll. They all come in assembly hall and take their seats. Only family members are there.

Jiang Fengmian opens the scroll. It's red in color that's why everyone understands that it's wedding proposal. He reads the scroll silently.

"What happened? What's in it?", Madan Yu asks.

Jiang Fengmian closes the scroll and takes a deep breath. He looks at his wife and then his daughter.

"Hanguang-Jun sent this wedding proposal for Jiang Yanli. He wants to marry her and make her empress.", Jiang Fengmian says.

Everyone gets shocked. Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng look at each other. Jiang Yanli gets tense because she loves Jin Zixuan.

"It can't happen. We will reject it.", Madam Yu says.

"Father! I can't let my jie jie to marry Hanguang-Jun. He is so many concubines and most importantly jie jie likes Jin Zixuan... Jin Zixuan is far better than Hanguang-Jun.", Jiang Cheng says.

Jiang Yanli looks at her father.

"Father. I don't want to marry Hanguang-Jun. I want to reject this proposal.", Jiang Yanli says.

"Hmm! Shijie shouldn't marry that egoistic emperor. Already he has so many concubines... I can't trust that he will love shijie.", Wei Wuxian says.

"That peacock is better that Hanguang-Jun!", Wei Wuxian mumbles.

Everyone discusses a lot about it. Jiang Fengmian rejects the proposal and he puts a stamp on it. He feels a person to send the scroll to Gusu.

"Husband! If he will attack on us then?", Madam Yu asks.

"She must have accepted it. Who will not want to marry me? Who will not want to become the Empress of Gusu?", Lan Wangji thinks and smirks.

Lan Wangji sits on his table and unties the thread.

"She is so pretty. I deserve her.", Lan Wangji thinks. There's a victory smile on his face. He is feeling proud that he will have the most beautiful women as empress and his wife.

Lan Wangji opens the scroll and soon his facial expressions get cold. His grip becomes tight on the scroll. He throws the scroll away and gets up from his seat in anger.

"It can't happen! No one has dared to reject me!", Lan Wangji mumbles.

Lan Wangji grits his teeth and he grabs the scroll from the floor. He reads it. After it he again throws it on the floor.

"I gave you a golden opportunity to become my queen. But you rejected me? How dare you? Alright! Now I will use other method. When you will realize my value then you yourself wanted to become my wife.", Lan Wangji says.

Lan Wangji immediately grabs another blank scroll and dips the brush into the ink.

"I, Lan Wangji wants Jiang Yanli as my concubine. I like her and I want to make her my concubine. I am ready to provide her all the facilities and I will take her all responsibility. She will be happy with me. I hope the answer will be in my favour. If it's not then I will declare Yunmeng my enemy. The war will happen and Yunmeng will destroyed in few days. Lan Wangji writes on the scroll. He puts an imperial stamp on it. He tells a messenger to send the scroll to Yunmeng.

Lan Wangji goes to his parents' palace to meet them. He is so much angry. Anger is shown in his face and his aura gets more dark. The concubines gets afraid from far. They know that it's dangerous to go in front of Lan Wangji when he is angry.

Lan Wangji enters his parents' palace. He greets his parents and then they sit in a room.

"Wangji! What happened? Why your mood is off?", Lan Qingheng-Jun asks.

"She rejected my proposal!", Lan Wangji says.

Lan Qingheng-Jun and Lan Yi look at each other.

"Wangji. You have power. You are king. Use your power and claim whoever you want. Don't be angry.", Lan Qingheng-Jun says.

"Hmm!", Lan Wangji replies.

"Wangji! You should ask her the reason of rejection. What if she likes someone else?", Lan Yi asks.

"Mother! I don't know whom she likes or not. I know that when she will start living with me then she will like me.", Lan Wangji says.

"That's my son. I am proud of you.", Lan Qingheng-Jun says and he pats on his shoulder.

Lan Wangji smirks. He is satisfied now.

"Now I want to see her. I want to know how she looks. She has grabbed my son's attention and she even dared to reject her. She is so courageous. She is capable of being a queen.", Lan Yi says.

"Mother! I have to make her concubine until she accepts me. If she won't accept me then she will remain my concubine. I can't give the position of the empress to a person who has bitterness for me. Only the person deserves to be empress who respects me and my parents.", Lan Wangji says.

Lan Wangji's mind gets calm. He spends sometime with parents and then he leaves for his work.

On the other side Lan Sizhui is in library pavilion. He is checking the library works. He comes to a bookshelf.

There's a book on the history of Lanling Kingdom. Jins are their old enemies. Lan Sizhui stares at the book and he turns his face away.

"I love him. The person whom I love belongs to Jin family. My brother will never accept this relationship.", Lan Sizhui thinks.

Lan Sizhui forgets about the work and thinks about the person. He comes to the yard and looks at the sky.

"When will I be able to tell my family that I love him.", Lan Sizhui thinks.

Lan Sizhui takes a small glass jar from his robes. There's a small firefly. He releases the firefly from the jar. The firefly sits on Lan Sizhui's hand.

"Tell him that I miss him and I want to meet him.", Lan Sizhui says.

The firefly flies high in the sky and flies to Lanling kingdom. Lan Sizhui smiles and then he returns to his work.

Jiang Fengmian gets the scroll from Gusu. When he sees the scroll again then he gets tensed. He didn't think that Lan Wangji would return the scroll.

Jiang Fengmian tells everyone to meet in the meeting room. He also goes there with the scroll.

After sometime all the royal family members comes in meeting room. Jiang Fengmian, Madam Yu, Wei Wuxian, Jiang Cheng, Jiang Yanli and other higher ministers are sitting there.

"What happened his highness. Is everything alright?", A minister asks.

"Lan Wangji wants Yanli as his concubine. He threatens us if we will not send her as his concubine then he will destroy us in a few days.", Jiang Fengmian says.

Everyone present in the hall gets shock. They are not ready for war because they don't want to lose the precious lives of their citizens and army.

Jiang Yanli is tense. She loves Jin Zixuan. The sudden news has shivered her. Wei Wuxian's fist tightens and he gets up from his seat. He bows to Jiang Fengmian.

"Emperor! Can you read what he wrote on the scroll?", Wei Wuxian asks.

Jiang Fengmian nods his head and reads the scroll. Jiang Cheng's clenches his sword. He is ready to cut the head of Lan Wangji who has his evil eyes on Jiang Yanli.

Madam Yu and Jiang Fengmian are worried for their daughter and for their citizens too.

"Emperor! Our princess will not become someone's concubine. She is princess and we can't let anyone to lose her dignity.", Jiang Cheng says.

"Emperor! Gusu is so powerful. We can't take risk.", The prime minister says.

"What do you want to say?", Madam Yu asks in anger.

"I am sorry...but it's a serious matter. We have to take decisions carefully.", the minister says.

Everyone gets quiet for some time. Few ministers are gossiping. Jiang Yanli is looking at everyone and then she looks at her father.

"We can't let this war happen but Yanli will not become Hanguang-Jun's concubine.", Jiang Fengmian says.

"How is it possible?", Wei Wuxian asks.

Madam Yu looks at Wei Wuxian. For a moment she gets an idea. She smiles.

"Emperor! We should dismiss this meeting now. Tomorrow we will held the meeting. We need time to think. Everyone will give their opinion tomorrow.", Madam Yu says.

Everyone gets silent due to Madam Yu's decision. The silence fills up in the meeting room. Jiang Fengmian likes the idea.

"We will hold the meeting tomorrow at morning time.", Jiang Fengmian says.

Everyone agrees and they bow their heads. After that everyone leaves. Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng go to Jiang Yanli.

"Jie Jie. Don't worry. I won't let anyone ruin your life. I am always here to protect you.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Shijie! Your both brothers will protect you at any cost. You don't need to get tense. If we will have to fight a war against Hanguang-Jun then we will fight.", Jiang Cheng says.

Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng looks at each other and they smiles.

Only Jiang Fengmian, Madam Yu, Wei Wuxian, Jiang Yanli and Jiang Cheng are in the meeting room. Madam Yu walks towards her daughter and she holds her hand.

"My daughter! Yanli! You will marry the one whom you want. I have a solution for this problem. The war won't happen and Hanguang-Jun will get his concubine.", Madam Yu says.

"How?", Everyone asks.

Madam Yu turns to her husband.

"Husband. You have to support me in my decision. Then only this plan will work. Promise me that you will support me.", Madam Yu says.

Jiang Fengmian nods his head. He is ready to do anything to save his family and Kingdom.

"I promise that I will be with you in every decision you make.", Jiang Fengmian says.

"Mother. What's it?", Jiang Cheng asks.

Madam Yu pats on Jiang Cheng's shoulder and she turns to Wei Wuxian.

"Wei Wuxian. You have ability transform into other body. You have to become Yanli and you have to become Lan Wangji's concubine.", Madam Yu says.

Everyone gets shocked. Jiang Yanli widens her eyes. Nothing comes out from her mouth. Jiang Cheng is too stunned to take any action. Jiang Fengmian's mind goes blank and then remembers the promise which he made a moment ago to Madam Yu.

Wei Wuxian's body turns numb. He can't believe what he heard.

"Wh...what?", Wei Wuxian asks.

"Yes. You have to become Yanli and disguise yourself in her. Only it can prevent the war.", Madam Yu says.

"No! I don't want to be a concubine of Hanguang-Jun. I can't disguise myself as shijie! I am war general Yiling patriarch!", Wei Wuxian says. His voice is heavy.

"But you have to do it! I can't let my daughter to be his concubine. She loves Jin Zixuan. You have to be Hanguang-Jun's concubine. I don't know anything else. Don't forget that we have done a favor on you. We adopted you and took care of you. Can't you disguise yourself as Yanli? Have you forgotten what we have done for you?", Madam Yu says angrily.

Wei Wuxian falls on his knees. He shakes his head in no. It's the matter of his self respect and most importantly he is a man. Madam Yu takes out her weapon Zidian.

"Wei Wuxian!!", Madam Yu shouts and she attacks on Wei Wuxian with Zidian.

Wei Wuxian feels that he will due on the spot with the attack of Zidian but still he tolerates it.

"Yu... Don't hurt him.", Jiang Fengmian says worriedly.

"Husband! Have you forgotten your promise? You should take a better decision with me. Only Wei Wuxian can do it.", Madam Yu says.

Wei Wuxian looks at Madam Yu with wet eyes. Jiang Cheng and Jiang Cheng grabs Wei Wuxian's arms and makes him stand.

"Mother! I am ready to become Hanguang-Jun's concubine.... He likes me and I don't want to hurt anyone because of myself.", Jiang Yanli says.

"Jie jie! No.... We will find another way. You don't need to go there. And Wei Wuxian is war general.... He will not go there too.", Jiang Cheng says and his grip tightens on Wei Wuxian's arm.

"Cheng! Yanli!", Madam Yu shouts in anger.

Madam Yu grabs Wei Wuxian's shoulder and pushes him on the floor. She again takes a stand to attack on Wei Wuxian with Zidian but this time Jiang Fengmian stops her.

"Yu. Don't hurt him. We will find any other solution.", Jiang Fengmian says.

"What's the other solution? Husband!", Madam Yu asks.

Everyone gets quiet. Wei Wuxian's hands tremble. To become someone's concubine is too humiliating for him. Wei Wuxian's face turns cold, his eyes are red. He gets up from floor and stands a little far from Madam Yu.

The atmosphere is dense. It's the only Sol they have to prevent the war but Wei Wuxian has to sacrifice his life.

Jiang Fengmian has clenched his fist. He closes his eyes. He remembers the way he took care of Wei Wuxian. He has spoiled him more than Jiang Cheng. Jiang Fengmian sits on his seat and he holds his forehead. Madam Yu goes to him and puts her hand on his shoulder.

Jiang Fengmian looks at his wife and daughter. It's true that he doesn't want to lose his daughter in the hands of Lan Wangji. He has to protect her but at the cost of Wei Wuxian.

Jiang Fengmian's face gets serious. He doesn't look at Wei Wuxian. He put one hand on his back. Finally he has taken the decision.

"Wei Wuxian! You have to become Hanguang-Jun's concubine. It's final.", Jiang Fengmian says.

The ground beneath Wei Wuxian's feet slipped away. He feels that his world has stopped. He is forced to be a concubine. He has to lost his dignity of a war general.

Wei Wuxian remains silent. His head is lowered and tears slip from his eyes. Jiang Fengmian turns his face away. He doesn't want to see his tears. He has controlled his emotions till now. As an emperor he has to take a beneficial decision.

Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli get worried again Wei Wuxian. In front of Jiang Fengmian they both remain silent. Madam Yu has a smile. She normally smiles and praises her husband.

"Husband. You have taken a very good decision. I agree with it.", Madam Yu says.

"Hmm.", Jiang Fengmian replies.

Wei Wuxian kneels in front of Jiang Fengmian.

Jiang Fengmian agrees and he send a letter to Lan Wangji in which he mentioned that Jiang Yanli has accepted the proposal and there's no need of war.

After sending the letter everyone takes relief breath and waits for Lan Wangji's response. But Wei Wuxian is so restless. He is trying to prepare himself mentally to become Lan Wangji's concubine. He doesn't have any option. Everything is in his hand. It was him because of whom the problem happened and now he has to solve it by himself. He has to sacrifice himself to save the Jiang Kingdom.

Wei Wuxian comes into his room and he closes the door. This time he doesn't want to face anyone. He wants time to think about it. Many questions are coming in his mind.

Jiang Yanli and Jiang Cheng are so tense about their brother. They know he is silly but still they love him a lot. They both couldn't speak anything in favor of Wei Wuxian because Jiang Yu was dominant there.

"No.... This idea is not good. Bothering Hanguang-Jun can be risky. It will ruin the image of my shijie. If I will bother Hanguang-Jun in palace and show tantrums then he might get angry or he can give me death penalty. No...no... But I have to do something so he will let me go.", Wei Wuxian thinks.

"Or... What If I will live there and built a plan against him. I will kill him by poison. He will die and I will not have to live there. Lan Wangji let him go and closes the door. He looks at the scroll and he is satisfied now. He knows that no one would like a war against him. It's better to do whatever he says.

Lan Wangji goes to his seat and puts the scroll in the table. After that he opens it and reads it. There's satisfaction on his face.

Lan Wangji grabs the scroll and comes out of the palace and goes to his parents' palace. Suddenly Fang appears in front of him. She is third number concubine. Lan Wangji gives her death glare.

"I.. I'm sorry Hanguang-Jun.", Fang says and gets aside.

Fang heard that Jiangs have responded to the letter which Lan Wangji sent them. She wants to know what they wrote in the letter.

Lan Wangji starts walking again and Fang walks behind him.

"Hanguang-Jun! I want to know something...Can I?",Fang asks.

"Yes.", Lan Wangji replies without looking at Fang.

"Is Jiang Yanli ready to be your concubine?", Fang asks.

"Umm.", Lan Wangji replies.

Fang stopped at her place. She immediately walks towards her quarter where all the concubines live. She wants to inform them.

Lan Wangji comes to his parents' palace and he greets them. After that they all sit in dining area. Dinner is ready. Today Lan Sizhui, and Lan Xichen, Mian Mian also arrived in palace to have dinner with their parents'. They all gets interested when they see scroll in Lan Wangji's hand.

"What happened? Have they agreed?", Lan Qingheng-Jun asks.

"Yes father.", Lan Wangji replies. He shows the letter to his father.

Lan Xichen doesn't know how to react because he also knows that Lan Wangji has forced Jiang Yanli to become his concubine. He stays quiet.

"Brother! Now you will have eleven concubines! One more is going to come here. When you are going to marry?", Mian Mian asks.

Lan Wangji stays silent. He wanted to marry but he got rejection and he doesn't want to give the position of empress to the person who doesn't like him.

Lan Lingjiao and Lan Su She are standing far. They both are looking that how Lan Wangji is crazy for Jiang Yanli. Lingjiao stamps her feet in anger. Su She holds her hand.

"Let her come here! I will make her life hell.", Lan Lingjiao says.

Su She Looks at Lan Wangji. He looks at his crown and clenches his fist. He touch his head and imagine the crown on his head.

"What are you thinking?", Lan Lingjiao asks.

"That crown would look good on my head.", Su She says.

"Never! Hanguang-Jun is made for it.", Lan Lingjiao says and leaves Su She's hand.

Lan Lingjiao leaves from there in anger. Su She looks at Lan Lingjiao and then he looks at Lan Wangji in anger.

All the concubines are looking at Lan Wangji. They want a chance to talk to him but Lan Wangji doesn't even look at them. At this time he is only thinking about Jiang Yanli.

Wang Zixuan, Lan Wang's second concubine walks towards the emperor but soon Mian Mian stands in front of her. She doesn't let her meet the emperor.

"Get off my way!", Wang Zixuan says in anger.

"My brother is busy. Don't bother him.", Mian Mian says.

"I said...." Wang Zixuan says but suddenly Mian Mian takes out her sword.

Wang Zixuan gets flinched.

"I will throw you in the mud. I will cut your hair. Get off right NOW!", Mian Mian says while gritting her teeth.

Xue Yang nods his head and he along with Jiang Cheng comes to Wei Wuxian's room.

Soon Jiang Cheng and Xue Yang come in front of Wei Wuxian's room. They knock on the door. Wei Wuxian opens the door and finds that his brother and co-warrior is present there.

Wei Wuxian is in Jiang Yanli's form. He immediately transformed himself into Jiang Yanli.

He never wanted to leave it but after knowing that he had to become Lan Wangji's concubine, Nie he doesn't hav any other option.

"Come in the hall. All are present there.", Jiang Cheng says.

Wei Wuxian half heartedly agrees. He arrives towards the hall. Every time he takes small steps. Jiang Cheng and Xue Yang knew that Wei Wuxian doesn't want it. But nothing is in their hand.

Wei Wuxian arrives in the hall in the form of Jiang Yanli. Zhu Yan greets him. He also believes that she's princess Jiang Yanli.

Wei Wuxian keeps silent all the time because he is male and he doesn't have any qualities of female. He is afraid that if he would talk and do any action then others would think him weirdo.

Jiang Fengmian, Madam Yu, Jiang Cheng and all the ministers talks to Zhu Yan for sometime. Wei Wuxian quietly listened to the conversation.

After that Lan royal beauty experts bow their heads. Zhu Yan points towards them.

"All these will get you ready.", Zhu Yan says.

"No!", Suddenly Wei Wuxian says in loud voice due to fear.

Zhu Yan understands and he agrees. A servant gives the royal Lan hanfu to Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian holds it and goes to his room.

"A-Xian!", Jiang Yanli says worriedly..

"I am fine shijie.", Wei Wuxian says because he felt worried in Jiang Yanli's voice.

"Don't go if you don't want.... I am ready to go... But I can't see tears in your eyes. Still we have chance. Give these robes to me.", Jiang Yanli says.

Wei Wuxian hides the royal hanfu behind him.

Jiang Yanli starts moving around Wei Wuxian.

"I don't know anything about make-up and hairstyle. Will you do it for me? Hanguang-Jun sent royal makeup artist for you but I rejected them.", Wei Wuxian says.

Jiang Yanli nods her head. She holds Wei Wuxian's hand and makes him sit on the chair in front of dressing table. After that she comb his hair and apply jewelery on his hair. Wei Wuxian closes his eyes.

Half an hour later Jiang Yanli finishes her work.

"A-Xian! Look at yourself.", Jiang Yanli says.

Wei Wuxian opens his eyes and looks at himself in the mirror. For a moment he forgot that it's him not his Shijie.

"You are looking so beautiful.", Wei Wuxian says.

"It's not me... it's you.", Jiang Yanli says.

Wei Wuxian realizes that it's him who is in Jiang Yanli's form. Then they both get ready to leave the room.

"Shijie! You have to marry Jin Zixuan secretly as soon as possible. Otherwise chaos will happen. Our minister also doesn't know about my secret. If they will see you here then they can ask many questions and this news will spread out of the kingdom. Hide yourself in this palace and don't come in front of anyone. You have to be more conscious.", Wei Wuxian says.

Jiang Yanli nods her head and he caresses Wei Wuxian's head. Jiang Yanli wear a cloth mask on her face and they both come out of the room while holding each other's hand.

Jiang Yanli leave Wei Wuxian in hallway after hugging him for five minutes. After that she leaves to her room. She is so sad and she doesn't want to show her tears to her brother.

Wei Wuxian also gets emotional. He comes into imperial hall. Everyone looks at him. Wei Wuxian tries to calm himself.

Jiang Cheng and Jiang Fengmian tighten their fists. Wei Wuxian in Jiang Yanli's form looking beautiful and everyone are looking at him by thinking that he is Jiang Yanli.

Jiang Cheng breaks the silence and he hits the tip of his sword on the ground. Everyone comes into their senses and they lower their heads. All the time Wei Wuxian was uncomfortable when he felt so many eyes on himself.

Wei Wuxian is in red hanfu and he is wearing jewelery which Lan Wangji has sent for him. Not for him but for Jiang Yanli. No one knows except Jiang family what's happening there. Now Xue Yang and Xiao Xingchan have learned about Wei Wuxian's specialty too.

"Princess. You can meet your family and friends. You have only sometimes. After that we have to leave.", Zhu Yan says.

Wei Wuxian nods his head. He goes to Jiang Fengmian and bows in front of him. They both don't speak anything and remain silent. They only look at each other. Jiang Fengmian nods his head.

After that Wei Wuxian goes to Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng hugs him.

"I will miss you. Try to come fast.", Jiang Cheng mumbles in Wei Wuxian's ear.

"Hmm.", Wei Wuxian replies.

Wei Wuxian breaks the hug. He comes to Madam Yu. Madam Yu holds Jiang Yanli's hand and she starts crying.

"My daughter... I will miss you so much... We have lots of memories together. How I will live without you. But I have to.", Madam Yu says and she starts crying more.

Wei Wuxian stays silent. His eyes are wet too but he isn't crying. He is shockingly looking at Madam Yu.

"Yanli!", Madam Yu says and starts crying more.

Wei Wuxian doesn't know what to do. He can't even hug Madam Yu. He takes a deep breath and caresses her hand. Madam Yu creates the distance while sobbing and looks at him.

"We all will miss you. Take care of yourself.", Madam Yu says.

Wei Wuxian nods his head. After that some maids come to Wei Wuxian and they walk towards Zhu Yan.

"Let's go!", Zhu Yan says.

Wei Wuxian nods his head. A maid stands behind Wei Wuxian. She is Xiao Yu.

Then they all greet Jiang Fengmian and starts walking out from the palace. Wei Wuxian is walking silently. His face is cold and he doesn't even look at anyone.

Suddenly Xue Yang appears in front of Wei Wuxian with all the main army men. He bows to him.

"Xue Yang! Now the Kingdom is in your hand.", Wei Wuxian says.

"I will protect it. I am faithful to my motherland. I will wait for you.", Xue Yang says.

Wei Wuxian has a small smile on his face which soon disappears.

"We are getting late. Please let us go.", Zhu Yan says.

Xue Yang looks at Wei Wuxian and nods his head. He gives him the way to go. Wei Wuxian starts walking again.

They all reached near the carriage. Wei Wuxian sits in a carriage which is mostly made of gold and gems. Its luxury. He sits inside. Xiao Yu helps Wei Wuxian to sit inside the carriage.

Zhu Yan sits on his carriage. After that everyone takes their position. Maids sit inside the carriage and male servant rides on the horse. Some start walking while holding the sword.

The procession leaves to Gusu. Jiang Yanli is looking at the scene from the window of her room. Tears slip from her eyes.

"He has gone.", Xiao Xingchan says. He is in Jiang Yanli's room.

"Umm.", Jiang Yanli replies.

After a long tiring journey the procession reached Gusu. In the journey Zhu Yan provides everything to the people who belongs from Yunmeng. He takes special care of Jiang Yanli.

Wei Wuxian is so restless and many weird thoughts start coming in his mind. He doesn't want to think anything. He peeks his head out from the curtains of the carriage and looks outside. Everyone is in the market place.

Wei Wuxian has seen this much biggest market for the first time. This kind of market isn't in Yunmeng. He looks around and sees that many biggest shops and Inns are there.

Everything is available in the market. Wei Wuxian looks at the sky which is covered with clouds. Today the weather is cold.

The maid gives an outer robe to Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian wears it and again he starts looking out of the carriage.

After a few hours they all reach the gate of the Lan palace. The gate is very huge and strong. It is made on black and red theme.

Many guards are standing outside the main gate while holding shield and sword. Zhu Yan goes to his military team. Everyone bows to him.

The huge gate opens and everyone gets aside while leaving the space for the procession. Wei Wuxian peaks his head out of the curtains and looks at the military. It's only ten percent military which is standing there. But they are too much in numbers. It would take time for Wei Wuxian to count Lan Wangji's army.

The procession starts going inside the palace. Wei Wuxian puts his head inside and stays silent. His heart is racing like a horse. Today he is going to face Lan Wangji.

Inside the palace Lan Wangji has arrived in the court. Lan Wangji's all sisters and brothers are there. They are all excited to see Jiang Yanli.

Lan Wangji's ten all ten concubines are present there too. Lan Liling is fanning herself. Fang and Lan Zixuan are trying to see Jiang Yanli's face.

Lan Qingheng-Jun, Lan Yi and prime minister Lan Qiren are standing with Lan Wangji.

"Take her out of the carriage. Help her.", Lan Yi says to Lan Wangji.

Lan Wangji nods his head. He walks towards the carriage and stops near it. He extended his hand to Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian gets flinch when he sees a strong and big hand.

Wei Wuxian gulps and holds the hand. Lan Wangji pulls Wei Wuxian out of the carriage. Wei Wuxian comes out. When his eyes fall on Lan Wangji then he looks at his hand.

Lan Wangji is lost in looking at Wei Wuxian. He wants to look into his eyes. His eyes are so addictive. For him Jiang Yanli is standing in front of him.

Everybody in Lan family sees Jiang Yanli's face for the first time. Lan Yi smiles.

"My son's choice is best.", Lan Yi says.

"Indeed.", Lan Qingheng-Jun replies.

"She is beautiful.", Fang says.

"What did you say?", Lan Liling asks in anger.

"Is she more beautiful then me?", Lan Zixuan asks in anger too.

Fang gets quiet. Suddenly Lan Lingjiao comes to them and she starts laughing.

"You got a competitor.", Lan Lingjiao says.

"It's easy for us to remove her from our way.", Lan Liling says.

"She is Hanguang-Jun's special.", Lan Lingjiao says.

"But I will destroy her. She can't take my position.", Lan Lingjiao thinks. She is cousin of Lan Wangji but still she wants him.

"I will rot her image in everyone's eyes.", Lan Zixuan says.

"Good luck.", Lan Lingjiao says and walks towards the other side while fanning herself.

All the concubines starts getting jealous. And on the other side Su She's eyes stuck on Jiang Yanli. She smirks while looking at her from head to toe.

Wei Wuxian greets Lan Wangji and he bows. Lan Wangji nods his head. He again holds Wei Wuxian's hand and then starts taking him into the assembly hall.

After a few minutes everyone comes in the assembly hall. Wei Wuxian is looking straight with no expression. Then he glares at Lan Wangji's hand by which he is holding Wei Wuxian's hand.

"You can leave my hand.", Wei Wuxian says.

Lan Wangji leaves Wei Wuxian's hand half heartedly. Wei Wuxian takes a sigh of relief and creates distance between himself and him.

Everyone takes their place. Lan Wangji sits on his throne. All the family members take their respective seats. Wei Wuxian along with his maids and servant is standing in the middle of the assembly hall.

Wei Wuxian is wearing heavy robes and now he starts feeling dizzy. All the way he was sitting that's why it didn't affect him but these robes are more heavier than the shield which Wei Wuxian used to wear in war.

"Why these clothes have too many layers. It's suffocating me and I am not able to concentrate on anything properly.", Wei Wuxian thinks.

Xiao Yu is standing with Wei Wuxian. Her head is lower. She feels that someone is looking at her. Xiao Yu turns her head to see the person who is looking at her from sometime.

Lan Xichen is looking at Xiao Yu for a long time. When Xiao Yu looks at Lan Xichen then Lan Xichen turns his face towards Lan Wangji and looks at him with straight face.

Xiao Yu ignores Lan Xichen and she again bows her head. She has seen that Lan Xichen is sitting on wooden wheelchair.

"Jiang Yanli!", Lan Wangji says.

Wei Wuxian greets Lan Wangji and sits on his knees. He is under compulsion otherwise he would never sit on his knees in front of anyone except Jiang family.

"From now onwards you are my concubine. You and your everything belongs to me. You have to follow the rules of Gusu and follow our every decision.", Lan Wangji says.

Wei Wuxian nods his head.

"Now you can get up.", Lan Wangji says.

Xiao Yu and another maid helps Wei Wuxian to get up from the floor. Wei Wuxian was about to fall because of those heavy robes but he manages himself. He takes a sigh of relief.

"You have to know about our family members. Tomorrow you will be invited in family banquet. Then you will get chance to meet and know all the Lan family members.", Lan Wangji says.

After that Wei Wuxian leaves from there with his maids. Lan Sizhui also goes with him to show a quarter which is specially prepared for Jiang Yanli.

Lan Sizhui takes Wei Wuxian to the palace. They come on the courtyard.

"Take rest. If you will need anything then tell the servent. We will provide you everything. It's Hanguang-Jun's order for all the servant to provide you everything which you need. If you need more guards and maids then we will provide you.", Lan Sizhui says.

"No! I already have so many maids from Yunmeng. If you want then you can put few guards outside the quarter for safety of my maids.", Wei Wuxian says.

Jiang Yanli holds Jiang Cheng's hand. They both are silent. Jiang Cheng wanted a grand wedding for his jie jie but destiny played a game. Now everything is happening secretly.

Jiang siblings come into the wedding hall. Only Madam Yu, Jiang Fengmian, Jin Ling and Jin Zixuan are present there. No one is there except them. Even guards and servants are outside the hall. They are not even allowed to listen anything which is going in the wedding hall.

After a final goodbye Jin Zixuan, Jin Ling and Jiang Yanli comes out from the wedding hall from an another area. This way is clear and no one there who can see them.

"Hanguang-Jun has forced the king to be his alliance. If Hanguang-Jun will know that Jiang Yanli has married to me then he will start a war against Yunmeng.", Jin Zixuan says.

"Brother! I heard that Hanguang-Jun sent marriage proposal for sister in law. Then what happened to it? If sister is law is here then who's there?", Jin Ling asks.

Jin Zixuan tells everything to Jin Ling about Hanguang-Jun. But he didn't tell him that Wei Wuxian is there in disguise of Jiang Yanli. He doesn't want to expose some secrets.

"Hanguang-Jun has arrived here to meet you.", The servant says.

Wei Wuxian widens his eyes.

"Okay.", Wei Wuxian replies and he immediately closes the door.

"Oh no! Why is he here? What does he want? Today I am very tired but still he has come here to meet me.", Wei Wuxian thinks.

Wei Wuxian gets prepared properly and he wears the jewellery. He calls a maid inside the room and tells her to apply make-up on his face.

Wei Wuxian comes out of his room. He sees that Lan Wangji is standing in the hall in the same aura. Dense aura and dominating personality.

"Hanguang-Jun! You here?", Wei Wuxian asks shockingly.

"Yes. I arrived here to check everything. If you are feeling uncomfortable or you want some other things or extra maids then you can inform me.", Lan Wangji says.

"It's okay! I don't need nothing. Every necessary things are available here. You don't need to get worried for me. You can go in your palace and take rest.", Wei Wuxian says. He doesn't want Lan Wangji to live there for a single moment.

"Right now I am not tired. I arrived here to talk to you. Let's have some talk.", Lan Wangji says.

Wei Wuxian gets irritated. Lan Wangji tells all the people to go out of the hall. He wants to spend sometime with his new concubine.

A special tea was prepared for him. But today when Lan Wangji takes the sip of this tea then his mind gets calm and his body relaxes.

"What happened? Isn't it tasty?", Wei Wuxian asks.

"It's very unique and it has a different taste. I like it.", Lan Wangji says.

"Ooh! Actually I like this tea a lot that's why I bring it here with me.", Wei Wuxian says.

Lan Wangji looks into Wei Wuxian's eyes. He smirks.

"I like it. I will come here to have tea with you. You will prepare tea for me. I will also talk to you on this pretext.", Lan Wangji says.

Wei Wuxian coughs. He looks at Lan Wangji with shock face.

"No!", Wei Wuxian says.

"What?", Lan Wangji asks.

"I...i mean you don't need to come here only because of me. I will send tea for you in your palace.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Who wants to see your poker face. If you will arrive here continuously then I won't have any privacy. I want to be in my original form.", Wei Wuxian thinks.

"But I want to come here whenever I want. I have rights on everything which is mine. Lan Yanli.", Lan Wangji says.

Wei Wuxian's grip tightens on the cup of tea.

"As you wish. You are the emperor and you have more rights on everything.", Wei Wuxian says.

"You are very interesting Lan Yanli.", Lan Wangji says.

"Please don't call me Lan Yanli. I will like it if you will say my original name Jiang Yanli.", Wei Wuxian says.

Lan Wangji smiles. Wei Wuxian glares at him. This man's small smile on his cold face looks very attractive.

Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian finish their tea. They both had normal conversation during that time.

Lan Wangji gives a small box to Wei Wuxian.

"It's for you.", Lan Wangji says.

"What's it?", Wei Wuxian asks and he starts shaking the box. His innocent behavior is so adorable.

Lan Wangji chuckles. In his eyes Jiang Yanli is so adorable. She isn't behaving like a well mannered girl but she is showing all the emotions without any fear.

"It has honey which is prepared by special bees of our garden. This honey works as medicine. You can eat it or apply it on your wounds and other body organs where you feel pain.", Lan Wangji says.

Wei Wuxian gets surprise. He never had any knowledge of medicinal honey. He always thought that honey is only used to eat. Lan Wangji is looking at Wei Wuxian's all gestures.

"If you will like it then I will give you more.", Lan Wangji says.

"Sure!", Wei Wuxian replies.

Lan Wangji looks at Wei Wuxian and takes a glance of him. Then he comes out of the quarter.

All the ten concubines of Lan Wangji are outside the quarter and they are trying to know that why Hanguang-Jun has arrived Jiang Yanli's quarter.

Lan Wangji goes away without even looking at them.

"Let's meet our new friend.", Lan Liling says.

"It will be fun.", Fang says.

"Let's see what's special in her that Hanguang-Jun has giving her more priority.", Lan Zi Xuan says.

"Yes. What's the special in her that she is attracting the kind towards herself. Hanguang-Jun never visited to us. Even he never tried to talk to us but here he talked to her, sent her marriage proposal and now going to her quarter. What's special in her?", Fang asks.

"We will see after disrobing her.", Lan Liling says and there's dark aura around her.

All the concubines agree. They all discuss for sometime and then arrives inside the quarter without any information.

When Wei Wuxian knows that all the ten concubines of Lan Wangji are in his courtyard then he goes there to meet them.

"Lady Yanli!", Lan Zi Xuan says and walks closer Wei Wuxian.

Wei Wuxian clenches his fist. He doesn't want to face these people. After seeing their faces he has understood that these concubines are expert in bully.

"You all are welcome in my house.", Wei Wuxian says and tries to be polite as he can.

"Lady Yanli! You are really so beautiful that your charm has attracted Hanguang-Jun towards yourself.", Fang says.

Wei Wuxian raises his eyebrows. All the concubines stare at him.

"How can I help you?", Wei Wuxian asks.

"If you really want to help us then stay away from Hanguang-Jun.", Liling says directly without wasting any time.

"Huh! Alright! By the way I am not interested in him. It's him who brought me forcefully here. If you want to keep him then you can. I really don't want to be with him or I am not fond of being his future wife and empress of this Gusu.", Wei Wuxian says.

All the concubines get shock to see after hearing Wei Wuxian's answer. They look at each other.

"But it's not enough. Hanguang-Jun has taken you here because you are beautiful. He will never let you go.", Fang says.

"So what?", Wei Wuxian asks.

"Let's talk in alone.", Zi Xuan says.

Wei Wuxian takes all of them inside his quarter. No guards are there.

Liling grabs the outer robe of Wei Wuxian and she pulls it from his body. A concubine cuts the belt of his waist by her knife. Zi Xuan grabs the pin from his hair and she pulls it. Wei Wuxian's all hair falls on his back.

Four concubines grabs Wei Wuxian's hand and pins them behind his back. Liling comes near Wei Wuxian.

"I am first concubine that's why I have more rights on Hanguang-Jun rather than anyone else.", Liling says.

Fang enters the room and she closes the door again. There's a hot rod in her hand. She comes near Wei Wuxian.

"Surprise!", Fang says.

"What's this Fang?", Zi Xuan asks.

"We will ruin her face so she won't be able to do her ugly face to anyone else and she won't get Hanguang-Jun's attention too.", Fang says.

"Great idea. Let's do it.", Fang says.

"Enough!", Wei Wuxian shouts in anger. His hands are still pinned on his back by four concubines.

Fang comes near Wei Wuxian and she takes the hot rod closer to his face. Wei Wuxian pushes all the four concubines with a force who were holding him.

Everyone gets shock to see Jiang Yanli's strength but they doesn't know that the person is Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian grabs his outer robe from the floor and he wears it.

Suddenly the door opens and a lady comes inside the quarter with guards. There's a hunter in her hand.

"Liling, Fang!!", Mian Mian shouts in anger.

Mian Mian attacks on Fang with the hunter when she sees red hot rod in her hand. The hot rod falls from Fang's hand and he gets hurt on her shoulder from that hunter.

All the concubines get scared. Mian Mian comes near Wei Wuxian and stands in front of him while protecting him. Her back is towards him.

"Lan Qingyang! What are you doing here? Who gave you permission to disturb us?", Zi Xuan asks in anger.

Mian Mian attacks Zi Xuan with her hunter. Zi Xuan shot in pain.

"Who gave you all permission to come here and bully Lady Yanli! Don't you know her position or you have forgotten your position! Huh!", Mian Mian shouts.

Wei Wuxian gets surprised to see that a lady is taking stand for him. Right now he doesn't know her name. All the concubines feel it as insult.

"Only I can bully here whoever I want!", Mian Mian says ans she smirks.

"Why are you taking her side?", Liling asks.

Mian Mian also attacks on Liling with her hunter on her leg due to which Liling gets on her knees due to pain.

"She is special for my brother! That's why it's my duty to protect her. I saw you all heading towards Lady Yanli's quarter that's why I decided to follow toy all with my guards. I already knew it that you all are going to bully Lady Yanli. Today is her first day and you all have started bullying her... Even you tried to disrobe her and burn her face!", Mian Mian says in disbelief.

Mian Mian looks at Wei Wuxian's clothes and hair which are mess now.

"Guards! Take all of them in front of Hanguang-Jun's palace!", Mian Mian says.

All the guards takes those ten concubines out of the quarter. Wei Wuxian turns to Mian Mian.

"Thank you.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Whenever they will bully you then tell me. Now take rest. I will see them.", Mian Mian says.

Wei Wuxian nods his head. He takes a relief breath. If those ladies would disrobe him then they would definitely find that it's not female.

Mian Mian got out of the quarter. She tells guard to take care of Lady Yanli. When the maids know that Lady Yanli was bullied then they get more conscious. They all take care of Wei Wuxian.

All the concubines are sitting on their knees in front of Lan Wangji's palace. When Lan Wangji heard the news then he comes out to see them.

"Mian Mian! What's this?", Lan Wangji asks.

"Brother! They all misbehaved with Lady Yanli. That's why I have given them punishment to sit on their knees for two hours on front of your palace.", Mian Mian says.

"What they did?", Lan Wangji asks.

"When you came out of Lady Yanli's room then they all went inside. I got doubt on them so I followed them. When I entered inside then I saw that Lady Yanli's clothes were....*sigh*... Her hair were open and Fang tried to burn her face with hot rod.", Mian Mian says.

Lan Wangji's fist tightens up. He glares at all the concubines.

"Hanguang-Jun! It's not our fault. She is lying.", Liling says and she tries to defend herself.

"I know your intentions.", Lan Wangji says.

Lan Wangji looks at the guards.

"Make all of them sit on their knees till morning. If they get up then increase their punishment. They will sit like this till morning. It is already night now... Let them stay like this in the cold all night. Just keep an eye on them so that they don't go anywhere," Lan Wangji says.

Mian Mian gets a satisfied smile on her face.

"Mian Mian you can make any wish if you want.", Lan Wangji says.

"I will tell you later.", Mian Mian replies.

Next day all the family members gather in the hall for family banquet. Only family members are present there. Lan Qingheng-Jun's all three concubines and his queen are also there.

After that the banquet starts. Lan Wangji introduces his family members to Wei Wuxian. Different types of dishes are placed in front of Wei Wuxian.

After that everyone ate the food. Lan Su She's eyes are on Wei Wuxian. He is looking at him and eating food. He is lost in Jiang Yanli's beautiful face.

Everyone gives their speech and some shows their talent. Many females enter the hall and they all dance to entertain them.

Wei Wuxian looks at Lan Wangji but Lan Wangji's focus isn't on the female who are dancing there. His focus is on Wei Wuxian.

"Why are you looking at me?", Wei Wuxian asks.

"There's something in you which always attracts me towards you. Yanli, you are different from everyone.", Lan Wangji says.

Wei Wuxian's face turns red. He rolls his eyes. Lan Wangji chuckles.

"Concentrate on their dance not on me. I will never allow you to come closer to me.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Let's see!", Lan Wangji replies as a challenge with a smirk.

In the end of banquet everyone gives gifts to Wei Wuxian. It's first time when Lan Wangji held the banquet for his concubine. So, everyone understands that Jiang Yanli is really very special for Hanguang-Jun.

Everyone comes out of the banquet hall. Xiao Yu is waiting outside for Wei Wuxian. When she sees that Lan Xichen is coming out in his wheelchair then she lowers her head.

Lan Xichen looks at Xiao Yu and she smiles. There's blush on Xiao Yu's face. Lan Xichen leaves for his palace with his guards.

Xiao Yu sees Wei Wuxian and she goes to him. They both along with other maids and guards return to their quarter.

"What happened to Hanguang-Jun's elder brother's legs?", Xiao Yu asks.

"I don't know... I will ask him.", Wei Wuxian says.

"I have knowledge how to cure old injuries. My grandmother taught me. If I can help him then it will be my pleasure.", Xiao Yu says.

Wei Wuxian smiles. He nods his head in agreement.

"Lady Yanli! What are you doing here?", The army man asks.

"Actually I came here to check you all. I am interested in all this. I want to know your practices, strategies and military weapons.", Wei Wuxian says with a smile.

Everyone gets shocked. First of all a lady has entered in the imperial army site and she is saying that she is interested in all this. It's the first time when a lady has arrived the military mear in excitement. Maids do work there but they never show any interest.

"What are you talking?", The army man asks.

"Lady Yanli!", Zhu Yan says.

Wei Wuxian turns behind. Zhu Yan greets him.

"Yes! Please!", Wei Wuxian says.

Jiang Yanli is Lan Wangji's favorite concubine and she is very special for him. Zhu Yan doesn't want to disappoint her.

"Okay. You can.", Zhu Yan replies.

Wei Wuxian and Zhu Yan come to army depot. Wei Wuxian gets surprised to see the area of army depot. He couldn't believe in his eyes.

All the guards and army are looking at Wei Wuxian. Army general Zhu Yan is with him that's why everyone is silent.

"That's why Hanguang-Jun win all the wars because he has a strong army and a hug army depot. Ours is not even half in front of Hanguang-Jun's army depot.", Wei Wuxian thinks.

"Lady Yanli!", Zhu Yan says.

Wei Wuxian comes out of his senses. He shakes his head and again looks at the army depot. He takes a step but suddenly Lan Su She arrives in front of him. The army man has sent him because Jiang Yanli was pricking in his eyes. He could not tolerate any lady coming into the army and showing her interest.

"Lady Yanli! It's a surprise for me to see you here!", Lan Su She says.

"Why can't I come here?", Wei Wuxian asks directly.

"It's not like that. You are a female... You should keep attention on your personal work. It's a very harmful place. You can get hurt.", Lan Su She says.

"But I am interested to know about the army.", Wei Wuxian says.

"What? Have you ever held a sword? Oh you were a princess, have you ever held a sword? You do not even know how to use a sword... are you wasting your time uselessly?", Lan Su She says while taunting.

Wei Wuxian's blood boils. He is a war general but Lan Su She is insulting him. Wei Wuxian looks at Zhu Yan.

"I want a sword.", Wei Wuxian says.

Zhu Yan gets startled. He hesitates.

"Please give a light weight sword to Lady Yanli. She won't be able to hold the heavy sword.", Lan Su She says.

"Zhu Yan!", Wei Wuxian says.

Zhu Yan gets confuse whom to look at.

"I want the heaviest sword. I want to have a sword fight with Lan Su She.", Wei Wuxian says.

Lan Su She takes it lightly and he starts laughing. Then he picks a sword for himself. Zhu Yan puts many swords in front of Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian chooses the heaviest sword and he holds it in one hand without any discomfort.

Lan Su She's eyes widen up. He has tried to hold that heavy sword once but he couldn't even hold it with both of his hands but Jiang Yanli has hold that sword from only her one hand without any difficulty.

Zhu Yan gets surprised to see Wei Wuxian's strength. He blinks his eyes multiple times.

Wei Wuxian stands in front of Lan Su She with his heavy sword. Lan Su She stands with his broad chest. Then they both start their sword fight.

In just two attacks Wei Wuxian throws Lan Su She on floor and he points the tip of his heavy sword on Lan Su She's neck. Zhu Yan smiles and he claps.

Lan Su She is breathing heavily. It's a great insult for him in front of all the army. He feels ashamed and useless. It's like someone has taken his respect.

"Lady Yanli! You are so strong.", Zhu Yan says.

Wei Wuxian puts the sword on its place. He turns to Zhu Yan.

"Now I want to see army depot.", Wei Wuxian says.

Zhu Yan nods his head in yes and he shows the army depot to Wei Wuxian.

Lan Su She is still falling on the floor. He grits his teeth and glares at Wei Wuxian who has gone far with Zhu Yan.

"Jiang Yanli! I will not spare you. I will take the revenge of my insult.", Lan Su She thinks.

An army man comes near Lan Su She.

"Do you need our any help? We will send you to the palace if you are feeling pain anywhere!", The army mans says.

"Shut up!", Lan Su She shouts in anger.

Through the gossip the news starts spreading in palace that Jiang Yanli defeat Lan Su She in sword fight in only two moves. Lan Su She is unaware of this gossiping.

Wei Wuxian returns to his quarter. He is unaware of all the gossiping. He is walking carefree and his guards are behind him.

"Yanli!", Lan Lingjiao says.

Wei Wuxian stops and turns to Lingjio. Lan Lingjiao is in anger. She comes Wei Wuxian's face to face.

"Do you know that you have done a crime? A crime which you shouldn't have done.", Lan Lingjiao says.

"Crime! Which crime?", Wei Wuxian asks and he looks around. Then he looks under his feet to check if he has killed any insect or small animal.

"You injured Lan Su She! He is a prince and Hanguang-Jun's brother! It's a heinous crime to attack on any royal member. Now you will get the punishment and you will be out in dungeon. I will inform Hanguang-Jun about everything which you did to Lan Su She.", Lan Lingjiao says.

Lan Lingjiao has a perfect chance to remove Jiang Yanli from her way by proving her guilty. It's a crime to attack on royal family member and Lan Liling will take it's advantage.

Wei Wuxian raises his eyebrows. Then he laughs. Lan Lingjiao gets startled when she doesn't see any fear in Wei Wuxian's face.

"Stop laughing. I am not joking.", Lan Lingjiao says in anger.

Wei Wuxian doesn't respond and he goes inside his quarter. It's a huge humiliation and disrespect for Lan Lingjiao because someone ignored her. She is daughter of minister prime and someone ignores her, she will not tolerate it.

"Yanli!", Lan Lingjiao shouts.

Wei Wuxian doesn't come out of the quarter. He is chilling inside his room. He closes the door and comes in his original form. He sits on the bed.

"It's a headache to behave like a lady all the time. Still the half day is left and I am getting bored. Let's do something.", Wei Wuxian thinks and he smiles.

Wei Wuxian gets an idea. He thinks to visit the palace. But Lan Lingjiao is still outside the quarter and she is shouting. Wei Wuxian rubs his ear. He chose the backside area and comes out of the quarter. He has the only key of back door.

Wei Wuxian goes far from his quarter. He the guards and maids aren't with him. He reaches the main palace and walks inside it. It's first time when he is getting chance to observe all the minor details of the main palace.

Suddenly someone grabs Wei Wuxian's hand and pulls him to the corner. Wei Wuxian gets shocked. He tries to shout but the other person puts his hand on his mouth. When Wei Wuxian sees the face then he narrows his eyebrows. The other person removes his hand from Wei Wuxian's mouth.

"Sizhui!", Wei Wuxian says shockingly.

"Who are you?", Lan Sizhui asks.

"What are you asking? I am Jiang Yanli.", Wei Wuxian answers immediately.

"No! You are not.", Lan Sizhui says.

"I am Jiang Yanli. Look at my face. Have you hurt your head somewhere?", Wei Wuxian asks and he put his hand on Lan Sizhui's head.

Lan Sizhui grabs Wei Wuxian's hand and then he takes him with himself. They both enter a room.

"Who are you? I know you are not Jiang Yanli. Jin Ling informed me that princess Yanli has married to emperor Jin Zixuan. Then who are you? How do you look a like princess Yanli? Are you her twin sister? But I never heard of her twin sister.", Lan Sizhui says.

Wei Wuxian widens his eyes. He didn't think that someone in Lan family would get the news. Wei Wuxian massages his head.

"Jin Ling! How do you know him?", Wei Wuxian asks.

"H...he is..", Lan Sizhui says but now he feels hesitation.

"What? His do you know Jin Ling? He is younger brother of Jin Zixuan! Are you his friend? Everyone knows that Laling kingdom and Gusu kingdom are enemies and Hanguang-Jun hates that kingdom. Then how can you contact with Jin Ling.", Wei Wuxian asks and he takes a step closer to Lan Sizhui.

Wei Wuxian wipes sweat from Lan Sizhui's forehead with his thumb.

"Why are you panicking? You should have think before opening your mouth. If I will tell Hanguang-Jun that you are in contact with Jin Ling then he will put you inside the prison just like your sibling is in prison.", Wei Wuxian says to threaten Lan Sizhui.

Lan Sizhui is in regret after taking Jin Ling's name. His brother will not show mercy on him after knowing the truth.

"Okay... I will tell you but you have to tell me too that who you are. We both will not inform anyone and this secret will within us.", Lan Sizhui says.

"You want to know? But what's the guarantee that I should trust you?", Wei Wuxian asks.

"Alright! I promise I will tell anyone about the truth. Actually Jin Ling is my f.. freind. We both send each other messages. I never want any fight in between both the kingdoms because I want to save my best friend and his family. Now princess Yanli is also there. So, don't you think it's both of our duty to hide this secret and need to put everyone in lie for sometime!”, Lan Sizhui says.

Wei Wuxian looks at Lan Sizhui with doubtful look.

"I promise. Now please will you tell me about yourself. I am getting impatient. How can you look alike princess Yanli? We both can be friends.", Lan Sizhui says and takes a pause.

"I love Jin Ling. We know each other for many years. We were friends earlier. But later the tension in between both kingdoms increased. Then we both used to send each other messages. Our friendship turned into love. We always send messages to each other and tell our feelings to each other. I never want my brother to attack on Lanling. For Jin Ling's safety I hide this truth from everyone. But after knowing that you are here in place of princess Yanli I am excited to know about your identity. I promise I will be loyal to you and we both will work together. I just want a company who isn't anti Jins. So, we both can work together.", Lan Sizhui says.

"Interesting love story.", Wei Wuxian says with a smirk.

After a long time of request Lan Sizhui gets successful in building trust in Wei Wuxian's mind. Wei Wuxian nods his head.

Wei Wuxian takes Lan Sizhui towards his quarter. This time Lan Lingjiao isn't there. She has returned to the palace.

Wei Wuxian comes into his room after telling Lan Sizhui to wait outside the quarter. He can't let him come inside the quarter casually otherwise people will get unnecessary doubt on them and they can be in trouble.

Wei Wuxian goes to his room. He has the clothes of a servant. He doesn't have his own clothes. Whatever clothes he has are made for a female. Wei Wuxian comes in his original form and he wears the dress of servent.

Secretly Wei Wuxian comes out of his room and he locks the door. He secretly comes out of the quarter and appears in front of Lan Sizhui.

"You!", Lan Sizhui says. He has seen this person in Yunmeng when the person arrived in the guest palace with gifts which were sent by Jiang Fengmian.

Wei Wuxian takes Lan Sizhui into the courtyard in a quiet place. They both sit on chair.

"Yes. It's me. Wei Wuxian. Army general Yiling Patriarch. I am compelled to take Shijie's form and stay here.", Wei Wuxian says.

Lan Sizhui gets up from the chair.

"A..army general Yiling Patriarch! But why? You are a man? How can you change your gender?", Lan Sizhui asks surprisingly.

"Jiang Royal family has done a lot of favors for me which is why I had to come here. I have a specialty which I got from my Grandma. I can change my body figure. I can also change my face and height.", Wei Wuxian says.

Wei Wuxian smiles and then he changes his height and face according to Jiang Yanli, Lan Sizhui gets surprise. It's the first time he is seeing a miracle. Wei Wuxian comes in its original form. He doesn't want to scare this kid  more.

"Now sit here.", Wei Wuxian says and points on the chair.

Lan Sizhui sits on chair. Wei Wuxian tells him everything that why only he was eligible to come here. Lan Sizhui just nods his head. He is curiously listening to everything.

"Now I am very hungry. Let's eat something.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Yes.", Lan Sizhui replies.

Lan Sizhui and Wei Wuxian come inside the hall. Wei Wuxian comes into the kitchen then Xiao Yu looks at him.

"Who are you? Master Wei?", Xiao Yu says shockingly.

Wei Wuxian turns towards Xiao Yu and tells her to stay silent.

"What are you doing here?", Xiao Yu asks.

Many maids know Wei Wuxian in Yunmeng but those who have arrived here with him doesn't know him a lot except Xiao Yu. For other maids he is a normal person but Xiao Yu recognize him.

"Shh!", Wei Wuxian signals Xiao Yu to stay silent.

"I have arrived here fir a mission. Now keep quiet or otherwise I have to send you back. Don't tell anyone that I am Wei Wuxian.", Wei Wuxian says.

Xiao Yu nods her head like an obedient lady.

"Help me to prepare food. I am so hungry. Lan Sizhui is also here. Prepare for him too.", Wei Wuxian says.

Xiao Yu helps Wei Wuxian to prepare food. They both take half an hour and then set the food in dining area. After that Xiao Yu leaves.

Wei Wuxian and Lan Sizhui have lunch together. Then they both come out from the quarter and walks towards the nearby area.

Lan Sizhui shows all his favorite places to Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian is feeling more confident in his real form. Finally he got chance to roam around I his real form which he missed a lot.

Lan Wangji comes out of the meeting hall with ministers. He stops and talks with them. After that he walks away with his guards.

Wei Wuxian and Lan Sizhui have no idea that Lan Wangji is walking towards the same way. And coincidentally Lan Wangji sees both of them talking, smiling and walking with each other.

Lan Wangji knows the face but he doesn't know his name. Wei Wuxian gets afraid to see the emperor. He gulps. He is thinking that the emperor will caught him red handed.

After staring Wei Wuxian from head to toe he looks at Lan Sizhui.

"Brother actually...he is...he is from Yunmeng.", Lan Sizhui says.

"I know. He is the servant who brought gifts for us which were sent by the emperor if Yunmeng.", Lan Wangji says.

"Servant!", Wei Wuxian says and points finger towards himself.

"That day did he think I am servant?", Wei Wuxian thinks. He looks at his clothes. This time he is in a servant's attire.

Lan Wangji looks at Wei Wuxian's face and he looks into his eyes. Same charm, same beauty, same aura. Something is similar in Wei Wuxian and Jiang Yanli.

"Am I missing something or any clue? But he is just a servant of Yunmeng.", Lan Wangji thinks.

"Your name?", Lan Wangji asks.

"A-Xian!", Wei Wuxian says and he smiles.

Lan Wangji's grip tightens on the scroll which he is holding.

"Brother! Can we go now?", Lan Sizhui asks.

"Where? What are you doing with A-Xian?", Lan Wangji asks. He is feeling something heavy in his heart after seeing the cute boy with his little brother.

Wei Wuxian is looking freaking cute in servant dress because his muscular body isn't showing from the dress and his baby like face is making him cuter.

"I was telling him some work.", Lan Sizhui lies.

"Which work?", Lan Wangji asks. He wants to investigate what's going on between A-Xian and Lan Sizhui.

"I told him to prepare new clothes for all the servants. The color of this cloth is very dull and it's fading. I have taken permission from shijie.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Shijie?", Lan Wangji asks.

"I... I mean Lady Yanli! She is like my elder sister that's why I call her shijie.", Wei Wuxian says. His heart beat is fast.

Wei Wuxian is feeling suffocation and he is thinking that his heart will explode due to Lan Wangji's gaze.

"Brother. Now let us go. Please.", Lan Sizhui says. He can'tet his brother to investigate more otherwise he along with Wei Wuxian will get in trouble.

Wei Wuxian is here but Jiang Yanli isn't at quarter.

"Sizhui! You can go. You should take rest.", Lan Wangji says.

"Brother. I am not tired.", Lan Sizhui says.

"By the way you don't need to do this work. Other workers are here. They will do it. You can go. I am going towards Yanli's quarter. A-Xian should also return to his quarter.", Lan Wangji says.

Wei Wuxian gets nervous. He looks at Lan Sizhui to save himself. Lan Sizhui smiles awkwardly because he can't argue with his brother.

Anyhow Lan Wangji gets successful in sending Lan Sizhui away from Wei Wuxian. Now that both are alone.

"Whom you are waiting for? Let's go.", Lan Wangji says in his rough voice.

Wei Wuxian lowers his head. Lan Wangji walks and Wei Wuxian walks behind him. He is in servant attire that's why he has to behave like this.

"How do you know Sizhui? From when you both have this much closeness?", Lan Wangji asks.

Wei Wuxian is confused that why Lan Wangji is asking this question but he can't figure out that something is burning.

"Why are you silent?", Lan Wangji asks and now Wei Wuxian can feel the anger in his voice.

"From today.", Wei Wuxian replies.

Lan Wangji doesn't say anything. Wei Wuxian is walking silently behind him. He has to find any excuse to escape.

"Hanguang-Jun!", Wei Wuxian says in his slow and calm voice.

Lan Wangji stops and turns towards Wei Wuxian.

"I have some other work. You can go. It's something personal. Please let me go.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Which work?", Lan Wangji asks.

"I said it's personal. Please understand.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Okay.", Lan Wangji replies.

Wei Wuxian bows to Lan Wangji and he immediately runs away from there. He is walking fast. Lan Wangji looks at him for sometime. His walking style is the same as his eleventh concubine Jiang Yanli. She also walks like a man sometimes.

Lan Wangji shakes his head and then walks towards Jiang Yanli's quarter.

Wei Wuxian immediately comes into the quarter while running. He enters from the backside area. He secretly jumps inside his room. He takes a relief breath but he doesn't have time to rest.

Wei Wuxian immediately changes his clothes and body shape. She applies some makeup like lipstick. He wears some jewellery. Then he comes out from the backside area and enters the quarter from front side so no one will doubt on him.

At the same time Lan Wangji also arrives there and he sees Wei Wuxian going inside the quarter. Wei Wuxian tries to stay calm.

"Yanli.", Lan Wangji says.

Wei Wuxian turns back. He knows the presence of Lan Wangji there. He was already prepared.

"Hanguang-Jun! Good evening. Come inside.", Wei Wuxian says in very polite manner.

Lan Wangji enters the quarter with Wei Wuxian. He again looks at the door as he is waiting due someone. Wei Wuxian also notices it.

After sometime Wei Wuxian prepares tea for Lan Wangji and himself. Lan Wangji is looking at Wei Wuxian's all small gestures.

"No! I can't think about anyone except Yanli. She is my first love. No... I have to create closeness in between us so I will not be able to think about anyone else.", Lan Wangji thinks.

Wei Wuxian goes a cup of tea to Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji takes the sip.

"Hanguang-Jun! I'm sorry but can I ask something?", Wei Wuxian asks.

"Yes you can.", Lan Wangji replies.

"It's personal but necessary. What happened to your elder brother's legs? I have always seen him on the wheelchair.", Wei Wuxian asks.

Wei Wuxian looks at Lan Wangji's facial expressions. Lan Wangji is calm.

"Sure.", Lan Wangji replies.

Wei Wuxian gets surprise. Lan Wangji tells that how his brother falls. He explained everything to him.

"Actually I know someone who has knowledge of medicine. She is also physiotherapist.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Who?", Lan Wangji asks.

"Xiao Yu.", Wei Wuxian says.

Xiao Yu comes out of a room and she appears in front of Wei Wuxian. She sees the emperor than she greets him. Lan Wangji nods his head.

"She is Xiao Yu. She has told me that she is experienced in physiotherapy and in herbal medicine. You can give her try.", Wei Wuxian says.

"She is a normal maid. How she can cure my brother's legs.", Lan Wangji asks.

"Excuse me Hanguang-Jun. I am sorry to talk in between. I want to give a try. I have cured many people's injuries. Please give me a chance.", Xiao Yu says.

"You can trust her. Everyone deserves a chance. It will be good if your elder brother will get well. He will start walking.", Wei Wuxian says.

Lan Wangji thinks for sometime. Then he agrees.

For sometime there's silence in the room. Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji finish the tea. Lan Wangji looks at the door but still A-Xian doesn't return.

Lan Wangji is in Wei Wuxian's quarter. He is looking at him and then looking at the door. Wei Wuxian notices it.

"Are you waiting for someone?", Wei Wuxian asks.

"No!", Lan Wangji lies.

"I can feel the same presence! But he is not here.", Lan Wangji thinks.

Lan Wangji removes the thought and takes another sip of tea. Wei Wuxian eats the cake and wipes his lips. He finishes his tea.

"Now I am going.", Lan Wangji says.

"You can go.", Wei Wuxian replies.

Lan Wangji comes out of the quarter. He looks at the main entrance but A-Xian isn't there. He doesn't want but still his mind is going to him.

Wei Wuxian takes a sigh of relief. He puts his hand on his chest.

"He has no doubt on me.", Wei Wuxian thinks.

Its midnight. Everyone is sleeping except the night guards. There is peace everywhere.

Wei Wuxian is sleeping in his room. He is in his original form. The room is filled with darkness. The windows of the room open and a person comes inside the room. He slowly closes the window. The room again fills with the darkness when the other person closes the window.

The person's leg rests on a table. He stops at his place and breathes slowly. Due to noise Wei Wuxian suddenly opens his eyes. He looks around bt still he is lying on the bed.

Wei Wuxian closes his eyes and concentrates. He comes into Jiang Yanli's form. He again hears small footsteps sounds.

Wei Wuxian knows small moment in a silence. He is army general and he knows that how the enemy attacks after camouflage. He comes down from his bed and he wears outer robe. He takes out a sword from his robes which he always puts with himself for emergency situation.

The person comes near the bed and he checks the bed but it's empty. Wei Wuxian pushes the person on the bed and makes a stab on his waist.

"Aaah!", The person make sound but soon he covers his mouth with his hand.

The unknown person flips Wei Wuxian on bed and comes over him. He starts sniffing his neck and tries to kiss him. With one hand he closes Wei Wuxian's mouth to stop his voice. Wei Wuxian clenches his teeth and he harshly pushes the unknown person.

"Guards!", Wei Wuxian shouts without any delay.

All the guards get alert and they run towards Wei Wuxian's room. Two guards open the door. The person gets panic and he runs away from the same window.

Wei Wuxian sits on the bed. His hands are trembling. Today an unknown person tries to take his advantage.

"What happened?", A guard asks.

Xiao Yu runs inside the room and she burns the candles. She sees Wei Wuxian's condition and comes near him. She sees knife with blood on Wei Wuxian's hand.

"What happened? Why did you shout?", Xiao Yu asks.

"Someone tried to take my advantage. I attacked him for my self protection.", Wei Wuxian answers.

All the guards gets alert and they all searches the culprits in the quarter, courtyard and nearby area. But there is no sign of him.

Wei Wuxian also comes out of the quarter and he sees some blood stains. After a distance the blood stains vanishes. Now no one knows where the culprit hides himself.

Wei Wuxian remembers that how the unknown person tries to take his advantage. He can't even imagine his sister in place of himself in this mansion. She would definitely be in trouble.

"We will find him.", Wei Wuxian says.

"How?", Xiao Yu asks.

Wei Wuxian looks at the bloody knife. He is sure that tomorrow at any cost he will find out the culprit.

For whole night the guards doesn't sleep and they provide the toughest security to Wei Wuxian.

Wei Wuxian wakes up early in the morning and after bath he doesn't have breakfast. He furiously goes towards Lan Wangji's palace with all the maids and guards.

Wei Wuxian is so serious and he is walking like a man in Jiang Yanli's form. Everyone is giving space to him. Anyone can say a strong personality lady is walking towards Hanguang-Jun's palace.

A servant informs Lan Wangji that Wei Wuxian has arrived there with all of the maids and servants. He comes out and sees that Wei Wuxian along with his maids, servants and guards are standing there.

"Good morning Hanguang-Jun.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Good morning. Is everything alright? Why are you all here this sudden in this morning?", Lan Wangji asks.

"Hanguang-Jun. I feel very embarrassed to say this but I will not keep quiet. At midnight someone came into my room. He tried to take my advantage in the darkness.", Wei Wuxian says.

Lan Wangji squeezes his eyebrows and comes near Wei Wuxian.

"What? Who? Did you see his face?", Lan Wangji asks.

"No. Due to darkness I couldn't see his face. He secretly came into my room and tried to take my advantage. I stabbed him and shouts that's why he ran away.", Wei Wuxian says in a serious tone.

Lan Wangji stares at the guards.

"What were you all doing? Who was on night patrolling duty at night?", Lan Wangji shouts.

"Ha... Hanguang-Jun... We were doing our duty. We don't know from where he went inside the quarter. When we followed him then he disappeared.", The guard says. He is trembling dur to Lan Wangji's anger.

"Tell everyone to come in assembly hall. All the guards, ministers, family members. We will discuss there.", Lan Wangji says.

Lan Wangji comes closer to Wei Wuxian and holds his hand.

"I will find him.", Lan Wangji says.

"I have stabbed him maybe on his waist. He has a fresh wound on his body. Here's the knife. I haven't cleaned the blood.", Wei Wuxian says.

Lan Wangji takes the knife and puts it inside his robe. He headed towards the assembly hall with Wei Wuxian. No one has done breakfast. First they want to know the culprit then they will have breakfast with peace.

Within twenty minutes everyone arrives in the assembly hall. A corner is covered with white cloth. Its semi transparent. Lan Sizhui is disrobing all the guards and he is checking wounds on their body. He has checked many guards but there's no wound on their body.

On other side Zhu Yan is checking the ministers. All the ministers are quiet because they know that angry Hanguang-Jun is so scary. The let Zhu Yan to check themselves behind the white curtain.

Lan Qingheng-Jun and Lan Yi arrived there. Lan Qingheng-Jun's all three concubines arrive there too.

"Wangji! What's happening here?", Lan Yi asks.

"Mother! It's a very big matter. Someone tried to do something heinous. Someone went into Yanli's quarter at night but Yanli defended herself at the right time.", Lan Wangji says.

"What happened! Tell me in detail.", Lan Qingheng-Jun asks.

"Yanli will tell you.", Lan Wangji says.

Wei Wuxian stands in the hall and he explained everything that how a person entered his room at midnight and tried to take his advantage.

Lan Liling, Lan Zi Xuan, Fang, and other seven concubines get satisfied when they know that someone tried to misbehave with Jiang Yanli.

"Yanli! Can you explain in detail? What that person did to you... I mean where did he touched you?", Fang asks shamelessly.

"Before he could do anything I stabbed him at correct time and that person ran away.", Wei Wuxian says in anger. He knows the intentions of these concubines.

"Yanli! Maybe you give some hint to that person that's why he came in your quarter to meet you.", A concubine says ans she smirks.

"My character is not like that what you are telling. My parents have given me good manners. I never tried to give hint to anyone. I don't have interest in any of your royal family member or any minister and worker.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Be in your limit otherwise I will send you all in the black palace.", Lan Wangji says.

All the concubines get afraid after hearing about the black palace. They all get silent and keep their mouth shut. If they will speak anything word then they have to live in the black palace for a month.

The time passed but no one could find out the person. Wei Wuxian gets frustrated and he stares at Lan Wangji.

"Hanguang-Jun! Why is everyone working slow?", Wei Wuxian asks.

"The culprit will be here.", Lan Wangji says.

"When?", Wei Wuxian asks in anger.

Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian looks at the people who are coming out of the curtains.

"Where is Su She? Why isn't he here?", Mian Mian asks.

"Are you doubting on him? He knows very well that Yanli is Hanguang-Jun's favorite concubine. Why would he try to misbehave with her?", Lan Lingjiao says.

"Hanguang-Jun! I want Lan Su She now! Bring him here at any cost.", Wei Wuxian says.

Lan Wangji obediently nods his head and he sends a servant to take Lan Su She into the hall. He waits there for him.

After a moment Lan Su She arrives in the hall. He is walking slowly and a guard is beside him. He sees that Hanguang-Jun has taken the strict action against the culprit. Everyone is in the line to be checked by Lan Sizhui and Zhu Yan.

"Su She! Now it's your turn.", Lan Wangji says.

"Hanguang-Jun! Are you doubting on me? I am your brother!", Lan Su She says by forcing his words.

"You have to do it. Everyone is doing it. You have to do it too.", Lan Wangji says.

"No!", Lan Su She says and he puts his hand on waist.

"Guards!", Lan Wangji says in loud voice.

All the guards grab Lan Su She and forcefully takes him behind the curtain. Everyone is looking at him curiously. Lan Su She is shouting.

"Wangji! He did not do it. You have misunderstood him. My son is so innocent.", Lan Su She's mother says.

Lan Su She is half naked in front of Lan Sizhui. He is trying to hide something on his body with his hands. Lan Sizhui sees the wound and a bandage is wrapped around his waist.

"Sizhui! Keep your mouth shut otherwise...", Lan Su She mumbles.

"It was you!", Lan Sizhui says shockingly.

"No...", Lan Su She says in low voice.

Lan Sizhui opens the curtains. Everyone sees Lan Su She. Right now it's a great humiliation for Lan Su She because he is half naked in front of everyone and the wound of his waist is visible to everyone.

Lan Wangji's eyes are burning in anger. Wei Wuxian doesn't wait for anyone and he goes towards Lan Su She in fierce.

"It's you!", Wei Wuxian says in disbelief.

"Su She! How did you get this round shape on your waist? Did someone stab you?", Lan Wangji asks.

"N..no! No one stabbed me. It's a very old wound.", Lan Su She says and he gets panick.

"Take the healer inside.", Lan Wangji says.

Lan Su She's forehead turns sweaty. A healer comes in the hall. He is an old man. He goes to Lan Su She. Guards grabs Lan Su She's hand due to which the healer easily gets chance to see his wound. He removes the bandage and at one glance the healer recognizes the wound is new or old.

The healer bows to Lan Wangji and he chose to tell the truth.

"Your highness. The wound is fresh. Someone has stabbed him with shape knife.", The healer says.

Lan Wangji gives the knife to the healer. The healer sees the knife.

"Yes! He has been attacked with this type of weapon.", The healer says.

Lan Wangji grabs the pouch of gold coins and he gives it in the healer's hand. The healer gets surprised to see the price. He bows many times in front of emperor and happily leaves the hall.

Lan Su She is looking down. No one bothered to cover him. He is still standing half naked in front of which everyone is a great humiliation for him. He doesn't dare look into anyone's eyes.

"Why did you enter in my quarter? Why?", Wei Wuxian shouts.

Lan Su She glares at Wei Wuxian.

"You insulted me in front of everyone, that's why I wanted to insult you. I came to take advantage of you. Yesterday you insulted me in front of the army, I just wanted revenge for that.", Lan Su She says.

"Which insult?", Lan Wangji groaned.

Zhu Yan stands in the hall. He saw everything that's why he is ready to explain everything.

"Do you know?", Lan Wangji asks.

Zhu Yan nods his head and he explains everything to everyone. The news was already spread in the palace through gossip but it didn't came in Lan Wangji's ears. It's first time when he listen all the things.

"Su She! I don't want to see your face. Guard! Take him inside the prison for lifetime.", Lan Wangji says.

All the guards listen to Lan Wangji's command. In that condition Lan Su She gets handcuffed. He is taken towards the prison. Lan Su She's mother cries. It's unbelievable for her that her son can try to commit a heinous act. She feels ashamed and leaves the hall.

Now everything gets quiet. Wei Wuxian is satisfied that Lan Su She got his punishment and more importantly Lan Su She told the truth.

"Thank you Hanguang-Jun!", Wei Wuxian says.

"From now onwards if anyone will bother you then must tell me. Thank you won't work. I want something from you.", Lan Wangji says.

"What?", Wei Wuxian asks with doubt.

"It's secret.", Lan Wangji says with his cold straight face.

Wei Wuxian smiles. Lan Wangji's heart skips a beat to see the beautiful smile and shining eyes. It's forcing him to remember about A-Xian.

All the ministers, workers and guards take a relief breath. They are all out of danger.

It's afternoon time. Lan Sizhui and Zhu Yan are going inside the prison. They both go inside Lan Bingyi's chamber.

Lan Bingyi's condition is very bad. He is still tied up with chains. His hairs are messed and there are small cut marks on his face. Blood is oozing from his legs and other body parts.

Zhu Yan and Lan Sizhui's heart clenches to see Lan Bingyi in this condition. Lan Sizhui is younger brother of Lan Bingyi. And other side Zhu Yan has feelings for Lan Bingyi.

"Bingyi!", Zhu Yan says.

"Gege!", Lan Sizhui says worriedly.

Lan Bingyi looks at his little brother and army general. He properly sits on the floor and then lowers his head.

"Gege! For how long you are going to torture it! Who has manipulated you. Who is filling poison in your heart. Tell us his or her name. In childhood you were always sweet and calm but what happened that you tried to kills Wangji gege! You both had food bonding then who filled the position in your heart against him. Please tell! Lan Bingyi is silent. Zhu Yan caresses Lan Bingyi's hair.

Lan Bingyi stays silent. Lan Sizhui takes opens a lunch box and he takes out food from it. He feeds the food to Lan Bingyi with his own hands.

Zhu Yan tells Lan Bingyi whatever happened in royal palace. When Lan Bingyi hears Lan Su She's name then he stops eating food. He looks at both of them with a different look.

At evening Lan Wangji arrives at Wei Wuxian's quarter. As usual they both are enjoying the tea. Lan Wangji's eyes are searching someone.

"Yanli! I will tell you something and you have to do it.", Lan Wangji says.

"What's it emperor?", Wei Wuxian asks.

"I am telling about our physical relationship. We have to do it soon. Don't you want your son to become crown prince!", Lan Wangji asks.

"No! Not you! I am here just for sometime. If you will always put me here then still I will not allow you to touch me.", Wei Wuxian says.

"You have to accept one day. Why don't you understand the simple things. Marry me with happiness. You will be empress and you can manage the imperial affairs.", Lan Wangji says.

"I will marry a beggar but I will not marry you.", Wei Wuxian says as he takes a sip of tea.

Lan Wangji finishes his tea and he takes Wei Wuxian's tea. He finishes it in one sip.

"Hanguang-Jun! It was my tea.", Wei Wuxian says ans he hits on Lan Wangji's shoulder. It's the first time when he has tried a bold move with the emperor.

Lan Wangji glares at Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian shrinks himself at the corner of a table and behaves like a lady. Sometimes he forgot that he is in Jiang Yanli's form. He walks like a badass female.

Lan Wangji gets up from his seat. He turns to Wei Wuxian.

"Where is A-Xian?", Lan Wangji asks. Actually he didn't want to ask but the curiosity to see him gets dominant in his mind.

"Actually he is not here. I have sent him for some work.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Which work?", Lan Wangji asks.

"We want new clothes for all the guards and maids. We want some new designs on our new clothes. I have sent him for this work.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Oh! Tell him to come at my palace tomorrow morning. I want to have some conversations with him. I want to know that which types of colors and designs you want.", Lan Wangji says.

"Why you? I mean you are an emperor. You have lots of big works to do but still why are you taking interest in normal things?", Wei Wuxian asks.

"Actually... I will tell Lan Sizhui to come there too. He was discussing in this matter with A-Xian. If can come too if you want.", Lan Wangji says.

"N..no. I can't come to your palace at morning time. A-Xian will come. I will send him.", Wei Wuxian says.

Lan Wangji takes a look of Wei Wuxian and comes out of the quarter. Be checks the security of the quarter. Everything is fine. The imperial guards are very careful now.

Its morning time. Wei Wuxian calls Xiao Yu in his room. Xiao Yu greets him.

"Yu! You have to go to Hanguang-Jun's palace along with Wei Wuxian.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Okay princess. But where's he? Why I never found him anywhere? Where do he live because I didn't see him. I only saw him once in the kitchen. He was preparing food for prince Sizhui.", Xiao Yu says.

"He is doing a very important work. Don't let anyone know that he is Wei Wuxian. Tell everyone if they will ask that he is A-Xian!", Wei Wuxian says.

"Task! I understood! I will call him A-Xian.", Xiao Yu says.

Wei Wuxian takes a sigh of relief.

"Which work I have to do?", Xiao Tu asks.

"You told me that you have knowledge of herbs due to which you can cure any wound or disease. You want to help Hanguang-Jun's elder brother. You can help him.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Really!", Xiao Yu says and she feels shy but she doesn't show it.

Xiao Yu nods her head. She goes to her room. Wei Wuxian takes a sigh of relief. He closes the door and removes his clothes.

"What Hanguang-Jun is thinking? Why he is taking interest in small things. It's workers work to select the costume for servants but why he is involving in it. Why he told me to come in his palace?", Wei Wuxian thinks and make weird face.

After half an hour Wei Wuxian gets ready in a servant form. He tries to cover his muscular body. He comes out and goes to Xiao Yu.

"Good morning young master Wei.", Xiao Yu says.

"Yu! Let's go.", Wei Wuxian says after nodding his head.

Xiao Yu and Wei Wuxian walks towards Lan Wangji's palace. They both talk casually. He doesn't let her know that he is living there as Jiang Yanli. Only few people know about it and he doesn't want to tell everyone about his speciality otherwise he will get in trouble.

Wei Wuxian and Xiao Yu reach in courtyard of Lan Wangji. They both are smiling to each other. Wei Wuxian is continuously talking and he tells Xiao Yu that he feels bored in Cloud Recesses. Their talk is so casual but someone is burning due to their closeness.

Lan Wangji is standing in the balcony. His eyes are on Wei Wuxian and Xiao Yu. Wei Wuxian's smile and all his little gestures for Xiao Yu are creating fire in the emperor's heart. Don't know what's happening with the emperor's heart. He likes Jiang Yanli but why he is feeling himself attached to Wei Wuxian.

Lan Wangji is struggling with his own feelings. He walks and takes big steps to arrive on the ground floor. His aura is dangerous and his eyes cold.

A guard stops Wei Wuxian and Xiao Yu outside the palace.

"Hanguang-Jun told me to meet him in his palace.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Let me inform him.", The guard says.

At the meanwhile Lan Wangji comes at the main door of the palace. Wei Wuxian looks at him and he bows. Xioa Yu also bows and they both greet him.

"A-Xian and you, come inside.", Lan Wangji says.

Lan Wangji goes into the hall. Wei Wuxian and Xiao Yu walk behind him. They both look at each other and then suddenly Lan Wangji turns towards them and he caught them both looking at each other. His fist tightens up.

Lan Wangji sits on his seat. He puts his hand on his knee and stares at both of them.

"Hanguang-Jun! Yesterday you told princess that you want to meet me in your palace.", Wei Wuxian says.

"I only told you not the one who is with you.", Lan Wangji says.

"Princess told her to come along with me. We can't deny her command.", Wei Wuxian says to defend Xiao Yu.

"Y..yes.", Xiao Yu replies.

"Why did she send you to me?", Lan Wangji asks.

"Em... Emperor! Your elder brother's legs have some pr.... I am here to cure his legs.", Xiao Yu says.

Lan Wangji remembers that his eleventh concubine once told him that Xiao Yu could cure Lan Xichen's legs because she had knowledge.

"Okay! I will give you the most unique present if you will be able to cure my brother's legs. If you will fail then you will have to face the consequences.", Lan Wangji says.

"Hanguang-Jun. I'm sorry to interrupt you but let her try once. Don't scare her.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Shut up! You are just a servant and telling me how to speak to a maid? Have you lost your mind that you can't recognize that I am emperor.", Lan Wangji says in anger because he couldn't tolerate that Wei Wuxian is defending Xiao Yu.

"Emperor... Please forgive him. I apologize in behalf of him.", Xiao Yu says and she gets on her knees. Her forehead turns sweaty after seeing Lan Wangji's anger.

Lan Wangji claps and he gets up from his seat. Wei Wuxian also gets on his knees and he lowers his head. Lan Wangji walks around them and his footsteps are echoing in the hall.

"You both are defending each other! What's the relationship in between you! Are you lovers?", Lan Wangji asks and he stops behind Wei Wuxian.

Wei Wuxian widens his eyes. His grip tightens on his clothes. Xiao Yu gets afraid due to the question. She doesn't have feelings for Wei Wuxian.

"No! We are nothing. We both are servants. There's nothing in between us. You have misunderstood us.", Wei Wuxian says.

""Hanguang-Jun! I like someone else. I don't have feelings for... for A-Xian.", Xiao Yu says.

Lan Wangji goes to his seat and sits there. He sees that Xiao Yu is trembling badly. He tells a servant to take Xiao Yu towards Lan Xichen's palace.

"Remember! If you will do any mistake or deliberately try to hurt my brother then nothing will be worse then me. Examine his leg's condition. If you won't be able to do it then must inform me. I don't want any mistake in my brother's case.", Lan Wangji says.

"Hanguang-Jun! I will try my best. Just give me a chance.", Xiao Yu says.

"Go!", Lan Wangji says.

The guard takes Xiao Yu towards Lan Xichen's palace. Now only Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian are in the hall. Wei Wuxian is still sitting on his knees and his head is lower.

"Sizhui will be here after one hour. You have arrived earlier so you have to stay here for one hour.", Lan Wangji says.

"Okay Hanguang-Jun! I will wait for him.", Wei Wuxian replies.

"For one hour you have to entertain me because I am getting bored. What can you do to entertain me? What ability do you have?", Lan Wangji asks.

"Entertain him! But why? I am not an entertainer!", Wei Wuxian thinks.

"What are you thinking? Don't you want to entertain YOUR emperor!", Lan Wangji says while pressuring on his words.

"I... I can play flute!", Wei Wuxian says.

"Nice! Now play flute.", Lan Wangji says.

"But I don't have flute.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Such a useless!", Lan Wangji mumbles.

Wei Wuxian pouts and rolls his eyes. His head is still lower that's why Lan Wangji couldn't see him rolling his eyes. He tells a servant to bring a flute for Wei Wuxian.

A servant brings the flute and gives it to Wei Wuxian. Lan Wangji looks at Wei Wuxian. He leans on his seat. Wei Wuxian hesitates. He puts the flute on his lips and closes his eyes.

Wei Wuxian is still sitting on his knees but he didn't mind it. He plays the flute and a melodious sound comes from it. After listing the melodious music of flute Lan Wangji's mind gets calm.

Wei Wuxian takes a look of Lan Wangji's face and he continues playing the flute. The melody fills the palace with a calmness. All the servant and maids works slowly th listen the magical music which effect their soul and mind.

After ten minutes Wei Wuxian finishes the music and puts the flute on the floor.

"Great! You have successfully impressed me.", Lan Wangji says.

"It is my good fortune that you liked my music.", Wei Wuxian says with a smile.

"I give you an offer. You can't deny it. I will pay for you for your work.", Lan Wangji says.

"Work?", Wei Wuxian asks surprisingly.

"Yes. You have to work as my musician in my palace to entertain me. You plays very good music. I appoint you from today.", Lan Wangji says.

Wei Wuxian gets panic.

"Hanguang-Jun. I'm sorry but ai can't go it.", Wei Wuxian says immediately.

"There's no choice for you to deny. You have to accept it.", Lan Wangji says.

"Hanguang-Jun! I already busy for whole day. I am here for princess. I can't work as your personal musician. Please let me go.", Wei Wuxian says.

"You can't argue with me. You have to accept it means accept it.", Lan Wangji says in loud voice.

Wei Wuxian shuts his mouth. He thinks about other options. If he will live here then he will not be able to go and turn into Jiang Yanli.

"Hanguang-Jun! I really have lots of work and I have promised emperor Jiang that I will take care of princess maids and all other servants. I will come here at morning time to entertain you with my music but at other time it's impossible. Please think about my time too.", Wei Wuxian says and he joins both his hands.

Lan Wangji can see that Wei Wuxian is taking stress. He sighs.

"Alright! You can arrive here in the morning for one hour to entertain me with your music. But it's compulsory for you to be present here at six o'clock at every morning time. If you will take a leave without informing me then you will get the punishment.", Lan Wangji says.

Wei Wuxian gets relaxed. One hour is better then a whole day. He bows and thanks Lan Wangji.

"Thank you Hanguang-Jun.", Wei Wuxian says.

"Hmm. Now play the music one more time. I want other music now.", Lan Wangji says.

Wei Wuxian nods his head. He again puts the flute on his lips and plays it.

After one hour Lan Sizhui arrives in the palace. He stops at the main door when he listens to the melodious music of the flute. He gets excited to see the person who is playing such a beautiful music.

Lan Sizhui comes into the hall and gets stunned to see Wei Wuxian there. He doesn't bother him and his brother and stands at his place.

Wei Wuxian stops playing the flute. Now his mouth is tired. He is continuously playing since one hour. ,

"Wangji ge.", Lan Sizhui says.

Lan Wangji was leaning on the seat. He sits properly on his seat. Lan Sizhui greets him.

"Brother! Is there any work?", Lan Sizhui asks.

"Hmm! I wanted you to meet A-Xian here. You can discuss to him about the clothes.", Lan Wangji says.

"Wangji ge. There as no need for you to take tension about it. I can meet him anytime. You don't need to invite him at palace.", Lan Sizhui says.

"I wanted to help you. Didn't you like it?", Lan Wangji asks.

"It's... Nothin brother.", Lan Sizhui says then he gets quiet.

Lan Wangji gives a pouch of money to Wei Wuxian.

"If you will continuously play music for me personally and in my assembly hall then I will praise you with expensive gifts and you will get chance to wear luxurious clothes and diamond jewellery.", Lan Wangji says.

"Th..thank you Hanguang-Jun. But I like as I am. I don't need any expensive gifts. My salary is enough for me.", Wei Wuxian says.

Lan Wangji smirks at Wei Wuxian's answer. He doesn't bother him again and goes to his room because now he has other main work.

Wei Wuxian immediately comes out of the palace with Lan Sizhui. He thought that he has saved his life from a lion's den. He put his hand on his head.

"Are you alright?", Lan Sizhui asks.

"No! Why it's happening to me. At evening Hanguang-Jun arrives my quarter to have tea with me and he wants me to entertain him at morning time with my music.", Wei Wuxian says and he gets frustrated.

"You are A-Xian and Jiang Yanli for him. Both are different personality that's why he can't recognize you. I am sorry for you because you are getting in the trouble. I will help you Wei Wuxian.", Lan Sizhui says.

"My blessings are with you. You are so sweet. May you get a best life with your Jin Ling.", Wei Wuxian says.

Lan Sizhui blushes. He walks away.

"Don't run.", Wei Wuxian says as he runs behind La Sizhui. They both playfully go towards their work.

Lan Lingjiao arrives to Wei Wuxian's quarter but she finds that Jiang Yanli isn't there. She waits in the quarter. Today she will clear something.

After a long time Wei Wuxian returns to his quarter. He sees that Lan Lingjiao is already there. He gets surprise.

Lan Lingjiao and Wei Wuxian come near each other. Lan Lingjiao opens her hand fan.

"You are here! Is there anything you want to tell?", Wei Wuxian asks.

"Jiang Yanli! It's not good to grab Hanguang-Jun's all attention towards yourself. You are trying to snatch him.", Lan Lingjiao says.

"Oh c'mon! Who wants your Hanguang-Jun. He is the one who wants me. I don't want him. I will be glad if he will let me go to my kingdom.", Wei Wuxian says as he doesn't care about the emperor.

"Seriously! Then why Hanguang-Jun always come to your quarter for tea? He never spent anytime with his other concubines. Even these days he has stopped talking to me too! What's your planning? I'm telling you stay away from him.", Lan Lingjiao says.

"I already said that I am not interested on him. Do whatever you want. But wait a minute! Why are you angry to see me closer to Hanguang-Jun?", Wei Wuxian asks.

Wei Wuxian comes near Lan Lingjiao and looks into her eyes. He got it.

All the maids and servants engage in their own work. Some rests after finishing their work but no one asks Lan Lingjiao about water or any beverages.

Wei Wuxian and Lan Lingjiao stare at each other. There's so many things in their mind but someone is starting the argument.

On the other side Xiao Yu has prepared liquid with the different varieties of herbs in a pot.

Xiao Yu uses a cloth to separate the liquid from the herbs fiber and she collects the liquid in a bowl. She is doing work with her all focus and good intentions.

Lan Xichen is reading book in his courtyard under a blossom tree. He doesn't know that Xiao Yu is there and preparing medicine for him.

Xiao Yu comes into the courtyard with a few servants.

"Prince! G...good afternoon!", Xiao Yu says.

Lan Xichen uplifts his head but his eyes stick on Xiao Yu. The servants create the distance.

"I am Xiao Yu. Maid of Princess Jiang. Actually I wanted to cure your legs that's why I am here. I talked to princess and she has given me permission. Hanguang-Jun sent me here with his permission.", Xiao Yu says.

"Yu! Don't waste your time over me. It's useless. My legs will never cure.", Lan Xichen says.

Xiao Yu feels pain in Lan Xichen's voice. She takes a few steps towards him.

"Prince! Please don't lose hope. I just want a chance. I promise I will not hurt you.", Xiao Yu says.

Lan Xichen smiles painfully and he gets emotional. He still thinks that every try is usefull because he has lost all his will power. He has accepted that he will never be able to walk.
