Summary
Wei Wuxian never liked to be kept confined and Lan Wangji never confined him, not wanting to follow in his father's footsteps.
Even as his husband, 9 months pregnant with their second child and ready to pop, wanted to accompany him and the other disciples on a night hunt, Lan Wangji, albeit worried, did not decline.
Maybe he should have because Wei Wuxian was nowhere to be found and Lan Wangji had a feeling that his Omega was in trouble.

Thank you so much! You have no idea how much I appreciate what you did. I really thought that I was going to die...you’re my saviour.” Wei Wuxian gasped so hard that his rib was hurting. He had been meaning to track down his rescuer but was side-tracked by trying to rebuild his office.
“I am just doing my job.” Lan Wangji bowed his head slightly. His face was stoic but his ears flushed pink instead of his cheeks, which Wei Wuxian found adorable.
“Well, you did your job very well.”

Wei Ying is exhausted, working all day and taking classes at night to get his degree in .. literally anything. He doesn’t care. He’s just trying to make a future for himself after being disowned by his adoptive family.
Wei Ying’s life is Not Going Well.
So it is slightly less than ideal when, alongside his takeout order, he finds a baby delivered to his doorstep.
An honest-to-god baby.
Like, tiny hands, tiny feet, tiny everything.
There’s a note pinned to the baby. A note with *his name* on it.
“Wei Wuxian,
Meet your cousin, Yuan.
Please take care of him.”
How. What. Who. Why him? Who would trust him with a baby?
But it doesn’t matter. Because the baby is looking at him, with its big baby eyes, and Wei Ying might not know whose kid it is, but he isn’t going to leave a baby on his doorstep.

Disciples – an army even, all wearing black and red with a familiar insignia embroidered on their chest and sleeves. He will never go wrong with that insignia. He has seen it on his a-niang’s skin after all.

Sizhui felt like vomiting when one conclusion came into his mind after his half-finished observation.

In which Lan Sizhui time-traveled to the past and he may or may not have caused mayhem of mass destruction and a few murders here and there with just one goal in mind: to keep his parents safe and have their happy ending without experiencing too much pain. Nothing else matters after that.A very self-indulgent fic because I was having some Sizhui feels.
