Chapter Text
I found out about "Brave Beats" (thanks to YouTuber @medusaspower2365, an ASFR guy), it was fun, filled a role I was needing for the greater scheme that is Madoka's ressurection, I had to include it. After all, because this is me we're talking about, I had to crossover the anime with something, preferably something psychological and emotional damaging for kids in a work of mine.
The preface is here, because I found no fanfic about it, so some readers hearing of the show's name first is required. I always use prefaces as announcements.
I will not begin writing yet however, because I first need to finish watching the anime, to be able of fully integrating Maria, the deceased Magic Girls, my other OC Incubator who is not Dawn, and "Fatal Frame" into the story. Until then, enjoy my other works ! Bye bye !
Actually, one more thing. The fanfic that comes right before this one in the series is set during 2039, meaning THIS fic is set through out 2040. Using "Kakegurui" as my time reference, this fic begins by 2040's spring ("Kakegurui: Twin" time period), and ends by 2040's winter (Yumeko's school year, or the Chistmas vacation of her school year).
Edit: Because of the "Brave Beats" episode surrounding a clock tower, the crossover now includes the "Clock Tower" saga in the mix.
I know most would prefer Jennifer's story. Believe me, I would too. But "Struggle within" just fits the narrative better, since "Madoka Magica" makes a point of saying the Magical Girls are walking corpses, and the way of everyone speaking in that game implies they see themselves as dead already. Plus, the original story surrounds a cult towards the Eldritch, and it's set on Europe. I've already added a lot of things to this saga, I must ensure it does not lose its focus.
One warning though, I'm going to be using mostly the japanese version of the terms and descriptions of the game, not the american version of them. Gotta be as faithful as possible to the source. Although, that won't stop me from including more of the "PMMM" spin-offs, so the "Clock Tower" story is perfectly integrated here.
I hope you all enjoy this addition. Bye bye !
Update: Here's Daniella from "Haunting Ground" ! She's Maito's mentor.
