Summary
AU of the Hinataverse.
On what really ought to have been a routine hunter-nin assignment, Hinata winds up (1) gallivanting across the Elemental Countries in the company of two infamous missing-nin and (2) being de-aged by an experimental jutsu. (Not in that order.)
Itachi is rather surprised to run into a six-year-old version of his former best friend; Kisame is rather surprised to discover that Itachi has a secret Big Brother Mode; Hinata (de-aged) is rather surprised to be semi-forcibly adopted by the two of them. Somehow, between their 1.5 collective social skills, they make it work.

Summary
By long-standing tradition within dōjutsu clans — overriding even the laws of the hidden villages, because it stretches back to well before the hidden villages were founded — a clan member gifting their dōjutsu to an outsider renders them married: permanently tied together by bonds that no blade can sunder, that neither village affiliation nor the opinions of the clan council can rend. The legends say that the bond stretches even beyond death; they say that the ghost of the dōjutsu giver can still, in times of great need, protect their most beloved person, to whom they chose to grant an eye.
Itachi, being a goth-ass bitch, is obsessed with this — he thinks it’s so romantic. Raised partially outside the Hyūga clan, Hinata somehow missed the memo. Through the power of Mad Science!, Shisui, six years dead, is dragged along for the ride.

Summary
The Hyūga are, and have always been, a shinobi clan; their answer to the question “what do you do, if the clan’s elders are unfit to lead?” is a shinobi’s answer.
Hyūga Hinata happens to be quite good at shinobi answers. In the tumultuous aftermath of the Uchiha massacre — with fear and distrust dogging her footsteps, given her formerly close relationship with the traitor Uchiha Itachi — she sees her opportunity.

Albus Dumbledore in the summer of 1995, searching desperately for a Defence professor: Why don’t I write my good friend Sarutobi Hiruzen, a fellow member in good standing of the Useless, Yet Purportedly Wise, Fictional Mentors Club, to see if he has a candidate in mind?
Sarutobi Hiruzen: I know the perfect person for this. She’s an S-ranked former ANBU and she just graduated a genin team to chūnin, so she’s got teaching experience!
Albus Dumbledore: …This is a fifteen-year-old.
Hyūga Hinata, fresh off taking down Orochimaru at the Chūnin Exams: Wow, if I had a nickel for every snake-themed, immortality-obsessed whackjob I’ve ever had to kill, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.
I’ve set Hinataverse!Hinata loose on the wizarding world, where she immediately does her damnedest to set a new record for the Voldemort defeat any% speedrun. Casualties are… considerable.
