  Summary

  Over the course of less than an age, Maedhros has seen many and been through a lot of hardships. It's not an uncommon thing to lose happiness after all of that. The people he once loved now become a bother, his little brothers presence only adds to his headaches. He isolates himself in his untouchable fortress and tunes out the outside world. His whole life is meant for one thing and one thing only, to fulfill the Oath.

  Maglor would visit now and then, againts his growls and threaths of violence. They would spend the duration of Maglor's visit trying to mend their broken relation but it was all in vain. Then one day Erestor leads a visit to Himring, with him a small elfling sitting in his lap.

  Is this a second chance at life for Maedhros or a sick joke from the Valar to remind him what he had lost?
